On Hey-Dasang Poetry, Detribalization & Change: Edmund Industan, Ph.D.: Recent Episodes

Edmund Industan, Ph.D.

My purpose is to introduce Hey-Dasang poetry, an adaptation of Dasang among the Higaonon and Bukidnon tribes., as another English poetry form. Another purpose is to conduct an urgent research on detribalization, retribalization, and change. For 27 years, I have been living in the USA with a very minimal contact with my own tribe, The Bukidnon. Recently, I saw a shocking social media comment arguing about the existence of my own tribe; hence, I was compelled to replicate my Ata Manobo study and conduct a research on the Bukidnons, ASAP. My advantage: I speak the language; also know the culture. Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/edmund-industan-phd/support
