Many of us grow up in the church and we know that God loves us that we’re not supposed to judge and we have this basic understanding of the Bible is probably true, and that’s good isn’t it? Advice for adulting. 1. You get a job make yourself impossible to replace. 2. Stay in your lane. Do not have an opinion about everyone and everything. 3. Consider others better than yourself. 4. Save up and buy things, stop living off of monthly payments loaded with interest and fees. Almost always if you can’t buy it you can’t afford it. 5. If you are choosing a spouse figure out how they treat their mom and their dad. When you get comfortable enough that’s how they will treat you. 6. Every person was created by God on purpose, even if they need to change respect them as such. 7. Effort is 10 times more important than talent. 8. Find a mentor and give them permission to always tell you the truth. 9. You are not only born with a “God shaped” hole in your life but also a “church shaped” hole. You are born to crave Christian community, do not accept cheap knockoffs. 10. Love and serve where you live. If you can’t wait to “leave this place” spend intentional time serving it and see if you feel the same.
