In light of current events, we are going to present a special episode of the Keep Growing At UF Podcast. On June 18, 2020, in a letter to the UF Community, President Kent Fuchs announced strategic goals to address racism and inequity at the University. In keeping with these goals, Training & Organizational Development has added a list of resources compiled by MCDA to the Keep Growing page. These resources explore the complex nature of diversity, equity, inclusion, social justice, and racial justice.  In addition, today’s podcast is an interview with Antonio Farias, the Chief Diversity Officer at UF. This conversation, between Antonio and UF HR Training’s Scott Blades, Irma Alvarez and Tricia Bacchus, was originally released as part of the Leadership Training Toolkit on March 19, 2019. This Leadership conversation is the first of a number of future Keep Growing podcasts that explore why leadership matters in higher education and what great leadership looks like at the University of Florida. Antonio talks to us about his vision for diversity and inclusion at UF and highlights the importance of leaders promoting a sense of belonging.
