On this weeks episode I interview Carlos from Mexico about his upcoming game Humans took my neighbors. Humans took my neighbors is a 2D top down action game inspired by classics like Zombies ate my neighbors and other top downgames, you’ll go through the neighborhoods saving as many monsters as you can, fighting humans ready to take every monster they see, and as you progress through the levels maybe find the cause for this invasion.

On this weeks episode I interview Chris from Minsan Studios about their upcoming game Next Earth: The Journey Trilogy. Next Earth: The Journey Trilog is a real-time puzzle arcade adventure. Set in the near future, the Earth is being evacuated to escape the threat of the Octians against which we are defenceless. Control the evacuation ships, using time and space to run away from the Alien threat. With the onslaught of relentless waves of Octians, the player must use their strategy, reflexes and speed to win the day.

On this weeks episode I interview Ste and Tony from Bare Knuckle Developement about their latest game The Flawless: Art’s Tale. You take control of Art; a twelve year old boy who awakens to find himself alone in a brutal and monochrome world of cats. He is catapulted into an extraordinary adventure where he must save his pet cat, ‘Mr Dirty Paws’, and bring colour back to the surreal feline world. Along the way he meets all manner of cats. Some try to use him to do their bidding, some want him dead and use all manner of deception to end his life. Others befriend him and try to help him save Dirty Paws and unleash his Flawless powers. As he is drawn deeper into this strange and complex world it becomes clear that saving Dirty Paws may involve saving the world but is our young hero up to the task!

On this weeks episode I speak to the creator of Streets of Rogue Matt Dabrowski. Streets of Rogue is a rogue-lite about player choice, freedom, and anarchic fun. On this weeks episode I speak to Benjamin from Treneon Games who are the devoloper of Neon Town. Neon Town is a game developed by Treneon Games which seeks to revive the spirit of old school action games in a top down format while focusing on what made those games best, the challenging and rewarding boss battles. In the game, the player is dropped inside an unknown Transylvanian town, one which never sees daylight and illuminated by nothing other than a vast colorful landscape of neon lights. The town is stuck in purgatory, as the player tries to escape they must defeat 12 challenging bosses in their way with up to 14 different upgradable weapons.

On this weeks episode I discuss Frostpunk. Frostpunk is a brand-new title from the creators of This War of Mine. It’s a society survival game that asks what people are capable of when pushed to the brink of extinction. In an entirely frozen world, people develop steam-powered technology to oppose the overwhelming cold. The city’s ruler has to manage both the citizens and the infrastructure they live in. The leader’s tactical skills face challenges that will frequently question morality and the basic foundations of what we consider organized society. Optimization and resource management often clash with empathy and thoughtful decision-making. While city and society management will consume most of the ruler’s time, at some point exploration of the outside world is necessary to understand its history and present state.
