The 2011 UC Davis Winter Quarter Landscape Architecture lunch-bag lecture series addresses the growth of regions, cities, and towns, drawing attention to the role of practice in reflecting new cultural and institutional formations and a focus on place-based approaches in design-related fields. This quarter features lectures and video podcasts by speakers with knowledge and expertise about cross-cultural planning and design, place-making, and community development.
