LIFE CHURCH KRV WORSHIP: 01-24-2021
LIFE CHURCH KRV WORSHIP
This is Life Church's 2 Year Anniversary service. Filled with special guests, music, and a message of hope.
“Outside of God's presence everything is subject to distortion”. You’ll never be impressed with the size of the problem when you're in the presence of God.
We've all felt betrayed. Why did Judas betray Jesus? I’ll tell you this. It was very personal. I believe it was because Judas first believed Jesus betrayed him.
This message is brought to you by the letter "E". Unmet expectations and entitlement plague our society. How can we work on NOT being a part of the problem, but the solution? Listen and find out.
What are you holding on to that you need to let go of? God has already forgiven you, now he wants to both love and lead you.
A group of friends brought their paralyzed friend to Jesus. Jesus did all the healing work. But that friend would not have been healed or forgiven without being brought to Jesus. Lead your family to Jesus. Lead your friends to Jesus. Your job is not to convince them to believe, only to bring them close enough for Jesus to do the work.
In a time when microwaves are "too slow" we have become accustomed to instant results. However, patience (or perseverance) must work through us for maturity and completeness.
Ask any cult leader if they are leading a cult...the answer will be a resounding "no". Ask almost any narcissist if they are a narcissist and they will say, "absolutely not, I'm just amazing!" James 4:11-12 warns us, DO NOT JUDGE. Because when we do, we step outside the mercy of Jesus. In a society that funnels us into narcissistic behaviors, how do we keep ourselves from becoming the next "cult leader?"
Entertainment. It's like a drug. We can look to it for satisfaction only to find it's a distraction from what God has for us. Why? Because we are afraid. Afraid that if we have moments that aren't consumed by entertainment we will have to face our own issues. But maybe that's the point.
Songs: This is Amazing Grace, Joy of the Lord, Good Good Father, When You Walk Into the Room.
Some people's favorite trips are power trips! DISCLAIMER: This is not about any other minister or ministry. This is a message about how each church, family, and individual needs to first examine their own motives and answer the question: Am I building my OWN kingdom or God's kingdom?
