Meeting my biological father and our very short lived relationship (if you can call it that).
Shortly after my dad left I gained a step-dad. We butted heads then became pals only for him to leave and never come back.
I felt it would be a good idea to give some back story on growing up with my mom. She was very present and involved. She made sure we always had what was needed and more. She was very successful. A curveball was thrown and exposed more than I think she wanted.
After the last episode about my dad, I felt I didn't give him enough credit and wanted to talk about some additional things we did together. Then I take a turn and talk about my optimistic mindset and how it came to be.
My perception as a kid and how it transformed today. Turns out your dad my not be your father.
Events that helped me to be in the place and mindset needed to navigate something so big.
Episode 1 goes over the main reason I am doing this podcast. It was something very difficult to face and there was only one way to begin to overcome it.
Thanks for taking a look. I apologize for the poor audio. I will get better doing this each time. Still learning my equipment.
Anyway, This is my intro and my idea of what reminder is needed during these crazy times. We need to listen to each other, we need to rely on Christ Jesus. I don't get overly churchy, I just make my opinion known upfront.
