Emmi lives with her granny in a broken-down cottage in the woods. Emmi must find work, but, Granny warns, 'Do not work for Lady Fusspot, the meanest person in town.' But Emmi becomes Lady Fusspot's butler, and sure enough, Lady Fusspot is mean. She is always calling Emmi a "worm!" So Biddy Happysnack, the local witch, gives Emmi some magic oil to turn Lady Fusspot herself into a worm. But as Emmi rubs the oil into Lady Fusspot's aching head, the unexpected happens. Is it magic? Or something else?
