The 29 September 2023 marks the observance of Pitr Paksh and Mahalay Paksham for many Hindus. Veena Lutchman interviewed Dr Pt Lokesh Maharajh on this observance. Pt Lokesh is the Chair of the Purohit’s Council of the South African Hindu Maha Sabha and he is also an academic at UKZN.
