Mila Stern plays music like a vole swinging a glow stick. Gently but firmly she pushes us forward. Little kicks in the back side towards happiness get us dancing on our toes until we want to cry out: “Whaaat?!” Mila was musically raised in youth centres & squats, ripened in Tel Aviv to finally graduate to the best clubs that Germany offers. She prefers a course around 123,4 bpm, sliding through with some shorter and occasionally with longer transitions. Preferably well-rested. But even crumpled, she has surprised us with utter superiority!

To stand still is to wither. Musically my last months felt like moving between places. Many of the sets I played were bridges: testing, reaching, shifting.This one feels like arriving. I recorded this set at my last gig at the old location of the infamous @distillery-leipzig - a club close to my heart since this is one of the places where I learned how to rave. The Distillery is the oldest clubs in eastern Germany. Playing there is always so much fun for me - I love the crowd and the sound and the vibe and I was happy to get the opportunity to wave goodbye to the old location at the easter weekend. My perfect first Nation of Gondwana
I always knew I would fall in love with you if I ever met you but somehow I still waited until now, dear Nation of Gondwana. When the booking came in I was blown away - even more because it was to play on the incredible Wiese floor.
So my first NOG looked like that: after arriving at home from a night at another festival my artist shuttle came just in time. I arrived at the festival site only 10 minutes before my playtime. So I went directly from the artist check in on stage and I was kind of shocked about the incredible sound, thousands of faces and the whole vibe.
I played and it was so so nice to see so many friends and also so many friendly strangers having the best time together. I will never ever forget these 2,5 hours. I stayed at the festival site until Monday early morning and since I came home I still float on a cloud... I still wait for my voice to come back, too :)
Thank you to everyone who works at / for the Nation of Gondwana and especially Julia, Laura, Melissa, Friedel, Fleisch, Toschi & Esther, Vica.... who made my Realitätsflucht possible + everyone I spent time with!
Friday morning 8.30 am I played the set I was the most nervous before ever - at Fusion festival - the mother of Festivals on the mighty Tanzwüste floor 🚀 💃🏻 🏜 After half an hour it began to rain but most of the crowd stayed and when the sun came out again the floor was super crowded ☔️ ☀️ I even played half an hour longer as planned. It was so nice to see so many friends from different places and times of my life. A big thank you to all my friends and all the strangers who shared the three hours of sweaty dancing with me. Thank you Tanzwüste crew for the stage and taking such good care of me!
Finally @mira_kater could celebrate her infamous (un-)birthday party at @kater_blau again. I was lucky enough to play right after her on Sunday afternoon at Heinz Hopper at 44,5 Ersatz Katzern tanzen auf'm Tisch.

The word "festival" was originally used as an adjective from the late fourteenth century, deriving from Latin via Old French. In Middle English, a "festival dai" was a religious holiday. It's first recorded used as a noun was in 1589 (as "Festifall"). Feast first came into usage as a noun circa 1200, and its first recorded use as a verb was circa 1300. On a Sunday afternoon on Ocotber 25th the Tunnel floor at Sisyphos was introduced to me. The three hours I spent there were among the best I had this year. Thank you to all the masked dancers! I took many mental photos of the great moments we shared. i will need these to survive the next months without going completely insane.

I recorded my workshop about roasting marshmallows at the beach at the Bucht der Träumer holiday camp last weekend. Leading this workshop was by far a highlight of the last months and I am very grateful that some of the people I've shared the worst moments of 2020 together were there to roast some marshmallows with me. We had to interrupt the workshop a few times to remind everyone to wear a mask. The announcements were not recorded so I cut out the blank spots. Playing without people around me and in front of cameras is still weird, hopefully just a temporary solution and will not be the new normal. With that said I had a really good time playing at the @freundelegenauf auf livestream in Cologne. You can re-watch the stream on my facebook page.
Station Endlos needs your help! https://www.startnext.com/station-endlove Given the current situation calls for funds are piling up in your feed. I know. Now our Station Endlos also urgently needs your help. Only a few weeks before we wanted to open our Club over the Easter weekend Station Endlos is in danger. I don't think I have to explain why a project as Station Endlos especially in the east german province is as important as it is. It also materialized itself over and over again at different places as Bucht der Träumer or Fusion Festival or Ikarus, to name only a few. At the moment we don't know how to cover ongoing costs such as loans, insurances and so on without a running club and the many many assignments from clients we usually have over the summer. I really don't want to bury this project. So please help to safe Station Endlos.

I decided to upload the recording of my set at Bucht der Träumer since I fell in love with this festival. I am really happy I was invited to play at the Porto Loco stage early Saturday morning. I began playing in the darkness of the night and finished when the sun came up ( #kitsch ) in front of some friends and many strangers. When I turned around I saw a huge engine, the lake and one or the other lonely rubber duck floating around ( #surreal ).
