In this edition of the BCHL Podcast we are joined by the Captain, Coach and Caster from both the Nanaimo Clippers and Brooks Bandits as we get you set and ready to rock for the upcoming championship series.

A flurry of players from around the BCHL join the conversation to set the stage for Round 2. Round 1 featured some remarkable moments and things are only about to get crazier.
The fourth and final playoff preview has landed as we discuss all things Coastal West with Tino Fera, Tyler Garrah, Gideon Hill and Kyle Anderson. The postseason is upon us and this division is set to produce some pretty memorable series filled to the brim with rivalry and history.
Part three of our playoff preview mini series with the broadcasters around the league. This time its the Voices of Interior West. Jordan Tavares, Drew Wilson, Ben Mantei and Zach Stewart all stop in for a great chat.

Our first interview is with Burnaby Express alumnus and 14-year NHL veteran Kyle Turris (4:13) who recently had the Kyle Turris Community Award named after him. We also speak with former Chilliwack Chiefs star Jeff Tamebellini (22:20) who won a Fred Page Cup with the Chiefs in 2002 before embarking on a lengthy NCAA and pro career. He recently had the league's new playoff MVP award named after him.
On this week's episode of the BCHL Podcast, we have two special guests who just had BCHL year-end trophies named after them.
Our first interview is with longtime NHL play-by-play man and former voice of the Vancouver Canucks Jim Hughson (4:05) who got his start calling BCJHL games in Penticton and Kelowna in the 1970s and recently had the league's Broadcaster of the Year award named after him.
We also speak with former BCHL defenceman Campbell Blair (32:29) who played four seasons in the league from 1983 to 1987 and suited up for the Shuswap Totems, Summerland Buckaroos and Vernon Lakers. Blair holds several league records for defencemen, including goals and points in a single season, as well as career assists and points. The league announced earlier this week that it's Top Defenceman Award would be renamed the Campbell Blair Trophy.
With the NHL Draft set to begin tomorrow, we have a special podcast for you featuring full-length interviews with the five BCHL players listed by NHL Central Scouting on their final rankings.

Tomlinson played two years in the BCHL in the 1980s before going on to have a long hockey career, including stops with Boston University, the Toronto Maple Leafs, Winnipeg Jets and eventually finished his career in Germany.
Bidewell is the reigning BCHL 1st Star of the Week after stopping 81 of 84 shots last week and earning his first career BCHL shutout last Sunday.

He details the issues he's dealt with since then, his road to recovery and his recent return to the ice to referee a BCHL game last weekend. We also chat with Victoria Grizzlies forward Connor Eddy (18:34) who has scored seven goals in his last two games and is the reigning BCHL 1st Star of the Week.
On this week's episode, we catch up with special guest Ed Johnstone (2:52). Johnstone played for the Vernon Essos from 1970-1972, then went on to play 12 years in the NHL with the New York Rangers and Detroit Red Wings. He eventually returned to the BCHL to coach the Vernon Lakers for four years from 1988 to 1992.
We also speak with Wenatchee Wild forward Cade Littler (21:54) who was just listed on NHL Central Scouting's Midterm Rankings and was also named the December High School player of the Month in the BCHL.

We are back with a brand-new episode, featuring two more interviews after opening weekend of the BCHL season. To kick things off, we speak with Victoria Grizzlies forward and BCHL Player of the Week Ellis Rickwood (2:45) who is coming off quite the BCHL debut last Friday. We also look ahead to the NCAA's Frozen Four by speaking with Minnesota State University sophomore and Penticton Vees alum Ryan Sandelin (16:27), fresh off scoring the overtime winner in his team's opening game of the national tournament.
Starting tomorrow, the BCHL is back! We have three interviews to get you ready for the season. First up, we talk to Salmon Arm Silverbacks alumnus Luke Mylymok (3:00), fresh off his 5OT game-winning goal in the NCAA tournament, finishing off the longest game in tournament history. We also catch up with Cranbrook Bucks defenceman Rhys Bentham (11:08) to discuss the team's upcoming regular-season debut. We finish off with a conversation with Dr. Bob McCormack (22:25) who is the BCHL's Chief Medical Officer for the season.
On this week's episode of the BCHL Podcast, we talk to BCHL Director of Officiating and former NHL official Brad Lazarowich (1:50) to go over on-ice return-to-play protocols as well as his 30-year career in the NHL. After that, we are joined by Nanaimo Clippers goalie Jordan Naylor (16:14) who tells us what it means to get the chance to get back on the ice and finish his junior career in his last year of eligibility. Finally, we check in with University of Michigan sophomore and Merritt Centennials alumnus Nick Granowicz (27:39) ahead of the start of the NCAA national tournament.

First up, we chat with Trevin Kozlowski (1:58), senior goalie at Army and former Salmon Arm Silverback, who lets us know what it's like to go to school at a military academy and how he feels about his senior season. Next up, we catch up with former Trail Smoke Eater and Penticton Vee Andre Ghantous (19:16) who was just named to the WCHA Third-Team All-Stars and is prepping for a tournament matchup against Bowling Green. Last, but not least, Bemidji State goalie Zach Driscoll (30:59) joins the show to talk about his success since joining that program, the 2015-16 season he spent in Penticton and much more.
We continue with our college hockey theme with another pair of interviews with BCHL alumni playing in the NCAA. This week, we speak with West Kelowna Warriors grad and Boston College forward Mike Hardman (1:09), as well as Minnesota State freshman defenceman and former Langley Rivermen standout Jake Livingstone (17:54).
On this week's episode, we talk to University of North Dakota forward and Wenatchee Wild alum Jasper Weatherby (1:14) about his involvement in the College Hockey for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion committee as well as his strong play on the ice, including his recent NCHC Forward of the Week award. After that, we catch up with former Penticton Vee and current Bemidji State University junior forward Owen Sillinger (14:05) to talk about his college career, his BCHL days and getting to play alongside his brother Lukas.
On this week's episode, we speak with University of New Hampshire forward and Langley Rivermen alum Angus Crookshank (1:07) who is coming off a four-goal game last weekend and a Hockey East Player of the Week award.
