This is an exposition of Paul's epistle to the Colossians. In this segment we go through the first 8 verses of the book of Colossians.
Focus on seeking the Lord and His will in everything that comes your way. For God is good and His goodness is sure unto them who wait upon the Lord and who seek His face.
In order for God to advance His purpose He at times allows the enemy to inflict us, but whatever the enemy would intent for evil and harm, God Himself shall turn it for good in order that His Holy Name be exalted in the life of the righteous.
Have you strongly built upon the solid foundation who is Christ the Lord. The call we received is all about imitating Christ in character and in so doing conforming to His very Image and thus being called true sons in the Kingdom.
The Kingdom of God on earth is not a matter of talk but in the power of the Holy Spirit to transform us into living the life God desires in mankind. We're called into a lifestyle of honoring God and esteeming Him far above all estimates. We're called to be conformable to the very image of Christ and glory God in everything.
Deeper insight of what true believe is like. It is responding to the grace of God that teaches about godliness and holiness. Being ready to take up your cross and follow Jesus. Paying the full cost of being a disciple of Christ.
Is a song of prayer of deep anguish. Waiting upon the Lord, when my spirit is grown faint
When we believe in God, we don't sit back and observe but we immediately dive into the manifestation of the life of the Holy Spirit in us. Believing in God is esteeming God far above everything and counting every other thing apart from Him as garbage. It is seeking to please God and doing things not because we are required to do so but because it is the will of God the Father.
Believing in God is taking God at His own Word. It is submitting to the scriptures and being ready to be led by them. When one believes in God, the word of God must have effect on their personal lives. It is not just knowing that God exists and you sit to observe but responding accordingly to the decrees and commands of Him we claim to believe in i.e The Lord of Glory
