I think I'm finally bored of regular life and just ready to get back to writing, back to simple and basic times where I could just disappear into a story.
My week in a nutshell. Working on my writing health, trying to get it in shape, briefly talk about character development or lack of and my idea for a writing Master Class.
Simple short and sweet updates on what's going on. Also preparing for the book signing in July.
A quick random talk about bone broth and just a typical writing morning. Nothing juicy or too much to tell in this episode lol. Just the usual banter of talking to myself and struggling with this storyline.
This particular episode is an actual time writing session. I would only recommend listening if you are a writer and have time to write. We start with 15 minute writing then a bootleg 5 minute break and then another 25 minutes of straight writing. Timed writing starts around the 4+ minute mark so in the beginning, get your station set up. Get what you need to get, find a timer and get to it. Once you begin, pause this episode and work on your story then when you finish, come back and break. I will be doing more of these in between main recordings.

What can you record when you're done with the book? When you're finally on the last chapter, literally the last chapter? I haven't much to say really...I'm just excited to be done with this shit. It's been over a year for this series. 400+ pages later.

My perspective on Skye Fall and where I' at now with the story while preparing the release for Fantasea. Also the difference in writing in your head vs actually writing and the math/science behind writing a series.

We also discuss industry observations and just random ramblings that the usual phone conversation has between three awesome writers. I recommend this episode for authors and writers specifically. I got my edits back for Charmed and whew chile... It's going to be a long week of just correcting and shifting and re-reading everything but this is good. I told myself not to look at Charmed until the edits are back and focus on Skye Fall and now that I have it back, I can really perfect both stories. Plus a little side rambling about being a writer in real life and balancing personal vs work.

Late at night. I decided to ramble on about reading the story from the very beginning and trying to figure out what's missing. Find the pockets or chapters that aren't needed. Figure out the sequence of Charmed and realize the characters are working for me but the order of the story itself is not.

Talking about how I randomly dug into a closet and discovered this book that opened up an entire world of stories and lives I didn't know are possible at such a young age. How reading books back then shaped the person I am today as a writer and just little tidbits and signs that I've been telling stories all my life.
