Bryan Fischer here with today’s Life and Liberty Minute. Josh Harris, as a 20-something millennial, wrote a best selling book a number of years ago, “I Kissed Dating Goodbye.” It sold nearly a million copies and launched a movement to re-emphasize sexual purity among young singles in America. But somewhere along the way he began to drift from the faith of his youth. He has now divorced his wife and renounced Christianity altogether. What happened? We’ll probably never know all the details, but when a man’s faith goes bad, it’s usually because of a slow leak rather than a blowout. The writer of Hebrews warns us against “drifting” away from what we have heard. Josh Harris let it happen to him; don’t let it happen to you. Christianity was entirely true when he was 6, when he was 16 and when he will be 60. Let’s hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering.
