We wanted to know what was going on with the young people so we invited, Chris Kroeger, Gary’s son, to speak on their behalf. What are they watching, listening too, and how Covid has turned there lives upside down.
SCTV, SNL Schitt’s Creek, Ground Hog Day, are just a few of Robin Dukes credits. She founded the comedy sketch troupe “Woman Fully Clothed” and is now a college professor teaching writing and acting. But we wanted to know if she was ever drunk while performing.
Richard Kind has fooled us all. I guess that’s what good actors do. He’s fooled us to think he was just a funny face on shows like “Spin City”, “Mad About You”, or his current role on “Curb Your Enthusiasm”. But then he shows up in movies like “A Serious Man” and “Argo. He gets a Tony nomination and wins the Drama Desk award for his role in the play “The Big Knife”. Barry Blaustein and David Sheffield saw a quiet young kid at SNL and figured he couldn’t be any worse than anybody else, so they took a shot and wrote a bit for him for Weekend Update. He killed. It was Eddie Murphy. The three of them went on to collaborate on some of the most iconic of SNL skits; Gumby, Buckwheat, and James Brown’s Hot Tub. The collaboration continued with them writing Coming To America, The Nutty Professor, Boomerang and the recently released sequel Coming 2 America.
