A few thoughts on how we might read this last 'book' of the New Testament to give us fresh momentum for our own lives.
We explore the greek word 'poikilos' and its significance for how we live in the grace of God.
Become a 'Pilgrim Saunterer'! Hurry leads to immature and broken lives, where we become unable to listen, to care, to love. Learn to walk (live) alongside the 'Three Mile an Hour God'.
Is our real desert place actually our interior world? What can we learn from Jacob, Moses, David and Jesus.
In this episode we examine how we see our relationships. Looking at the ancient 'Covenant of Salt' first mentioned in Numbers 18:19 we explore what this means for the way we live in this world.
Reading from Philippians 2 & 3
Discussion Questions;
Where do you need to let go of control?
What fears have you got?
How do we let go of those fears?
How do we let go of our egos?
How do we let go of the hurts from our past?
Reading from Luke 11 Starting from verse 27.
1. When did God last speak to you, how did you respond?
2. How do you respond to God's perceived absence?
3. What does the sign of Jonah mean for you right now?
4. What are the signs of new growth in your life at this time?
Questions for consideration:
1. What does it take to live intentionally (purposefully for God)?
2. What is stopping you from living with purpose?
