We talk with community members about the issues that matter. We welcome all members to share their ideas and to bounce them off of some of our Cities hosts.
Becky , a D87 alum and community activist, a BHS parent who's child was a by stander to the massive brawl that left D87's Scott Day hospitalized, a BHS student and Karin from Back the Blue Central Illinois join us in studio to discuss the violence in our schools and solutions. Peoria High School and Bloomington High School had brawls that resulted in injuries and mental trauma.
Over the course of 2021, more minors have been shot in Chicago than have died of COVID-19 in all of the United States, according to data from police and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
The true Pandemic....Is that the increasing violence in schools locally and nationally?
Ty and the students talk about how race relations are effecting both whites and blacks.
