Grace is not a "Hakuna Matata" approach to life or faith. True grace is the sustaining force of life. Grace reveals the heart of the Father, the presence of the Son, and the power of the Holy Spirit. Come join us this Sunday to center your heart on how God's grace transforms us as we hear from our very own Pastor Tara Lopez!
Join us as we start 2021 by reflecting on a very challenging and unpredictable 2020 and discovering what God might be saying to us today. This Sunday, Pastor Justin will be sharing what God is teaching him about learning to truly listen.
Didn't it feel like 2020 would NEVER end!?! As we look toward 2021 without a whole lot of hope that things will be all that different any time soon, we look to our Savior who promises to make all things new. Join us for church at 10am!
Come take communion with us as we remember the God who became one of us, suffering for us, and desires to be with us today. Grab some juice and some bread (or juice and bread substitute) and join us for our Sunday Christmas Service at 10am.
This advent season uniquely meets us in a time when so much is falling short of what we are used to and what we long for. Perhaps the isolation and loneliness of 2020 puts us more deeply in touch with our longing for God's kingdom to come. Join us this Sunday as we worship the One who has come and is coming again.
This weekend we kick off the Advent season, where set aside time for waiting, watching, and longing for the celebration of the King who came and who is coming again. This Christmas, we find ourselves needing something more than just nostalgia or a merry escape from our everyday stresses. We need an advent that is honest and real, leading us to anticipate Jesus' arrival in the most ordinary moments of our lives.
For many of us, Thanksgiving is going to look quite different this year. Instead of gathering around the table with the usual family and dear friends, many will be spending it apart. Join us for our Thanksgiving service as we discuss the necessity of engaging both grief and gratitude around the table.
This has been a trying season for us all! How we do engage God when the world seems to be turned upside down? How do we offer praise and thanksgiving when our hearts are full of frustrations and disappointments? Let's consider together how God may be inviting us into deeper, more honest and wholehearted worship in the midst of a pandemic and a contentious election.
What is God up to right now? Where can we find him at work? How can we partner with him when our lives are so restricted and we can't even go to church? Join us today as we consider where to find God's kingdom present in our every day lives.
In order to experience the life of Jesus, we have to adopt the life-style of Jesus. The way of Jesus is a way of life. The invitation to become Jesus' disciples (or apprentices) involves living as he lived in the entirety of his life—adopting his overall life-style. First, we have to slow down and create space to follow him.
