We all have a story, looking closer at life we can't help but see how poetic it can be. Some people use spoken word to heal like many guest on this show, some just want to hear that they are not alone and find a need to voice their story just hoping someone will listen. This podcast is that voice.
Marshall is a photographer who take pride in his craft, moments that we sometimes forgotten or are unaware happened he captures them so you can see it for the or relive it. He has been a big part of the growth of the poetry community not just in capturing shows but also trying to bring others awareness of the art. Marshall has a great eye, his camera is like a poets pen as he find beauty in the moments of life.
Host of Creative Coping Podcast Johnny Anomaly takes the guest seat. We are both podcast and poets who love the arts we dive in to the man responsibilities as it interferes with the grind of the artist. He has a beautiful family that supports him as he find the path as a poet, interesting how a poet still look's for the title poet within self. I can understand where he comes from an enjoy his answer how a decorated artist still feels the way he does. This podcast really touches the vibes of how creatives cope.

My next guest is a diamond of a poet. I had the pleasure to speak with Poetic.Tess and we could not help but laugh uncontrollably. Its been so long since I heard her voice. It really felt like a family reunion. We never realize how much we impact each other especially in this poetry community. I found out on this podcast how much our friendship really meant to one another other. Get back in there tear!!
Season 2 is here like a J Cole album, we kick off 2021 with an amazing poet. Antino Art is a swordsmen with the pen, as he flows through words like water. Antino's poetic movements gracefully glide in the air in to the ears of those who listen. So happy to have him back on the show again to catch up after 2020 limitations.
2020 was a year of set backs, but now we are back! I let this episode more raw like, just so I can get back in the groove. Really enjoyed getting back in the saddle. We have more to come this coming year with lots of new poetry and shows. Stay safe everyone and thank you for hanging in there while we get the show back online
Took some time off to rest and get some things in order, but with the current climate I felt a need to come back. *My first guest King Cotten is a poet that is a husband, father, brother and leader. He’s community strong understanding that a village is what we all need. We speak on how we are feeling at this time while having a family and being black in this time of protest.
*This dynamic duo is comprised of King Cotten and his wife ItsCatt! Their platform is exposing poetry through a marriage perspective. While they perform separately at times their true passion is healing through their experiences when they ignite on stage. While the right of passage into Pic’nCotten is free you will leave seeking a deeper understanding of self, are you ready to cipher through your perception, to pick the strings of your thoughts? To clear the fields of your stagnation? Pick the Cotten out your ear.
*Free the Poet (thank you)

With everything being postponed or shut down I just wanted to talk about the positives for a moment and reflect on the recent past guest I had on. I kept it short, but definitely check out the previous episode. Show your support for the artist please.
Antino Art is a poet that draws the attention of the crowd in his quest for wisdom. He taps into the inner frequency and goes to war through his art to regain peace in his life as he raises his beautiful daughter Nali. I always enjoy talking to this man he has so much to offer to inspire inner growth as well as he see things from a different point of view.
This episode Is all positive we touch on the glory of god and the inner potential we all have. Do not waste it, as we live our lives listen to the inner voice. Sharonette Smart provides wisdom using God as her guidance. I hope this episode gives positive influence to make people not to give up.

I put in some amazing poems by a few poets that I know you will enjoy. See you next year we are just getting started, 2020 is about to be heavy. Hmm, who is our first guest next year?
Jake and I lost power while trying to record and lost over 25 minutes of content so third time was the charm. Jake Cgraves is a young and talented poet that wants to see spoken word be exposed more widely. How does he want to do this? listen to our conversation and find out.
Poet DS Will comes on the podcast with humbling truth and knowledge about the world of poetry. He is the co Founder of Press play, A well seasoned Poet and Host of various events. We discuss hip hop and spoken word similarities, the style of his writing, and many more. He shares a Poem that you do not want to miss titled "Black boys don't cry".
Just 5 episodes in and I'm growing to better myself as a person. This journey is very therapeutic, and humbling.
We have our first guest going by the name Spoken Watson. We sat at the wake forest coffee company and discussed his passion to spoken word as well as the obstacles he faces. I apologize for the background noise I tried to reduce it with out making the conversation and his poem sound inaudible. Still learning but I love the journey.
Its Allan here, this time lets jump in to the mind and heart of a poet, and see the journey from the conception of a idea to the microphone.
Thanks to Mark Espinosa the podcast has lifted to the next level. so glad to have this second podcast to say a few words on recent events I have been apart of, as a spectator or as a performer. Yes I plugged a few names, but why not it’s about showing love for the community.

A night of poetry and story-telling centered around something truly terrifying: an introspection into our own anxious thoughts. Four talented poets, including DS Will, Sunshine, Travis Kyng, and Suzanne Crain Miller will share their insights as we face our worst fears. And of course, the host, Watson, will be the lantern-bearing guide on the evening's journey into the unknown and disconcerting.
Tickets are pay-what-you-want, so if what you want to pay is nothing, you are welcome to join us! All proceeds will go to support the artists and their work. Please bear in mind some of the material may be frightening or confusing for young children, so the event has a PG-13 rating.

We will talk about it all and the events behind it. Also include those in the community who add to positive growth to help motivate, because vibes don't lie. Thank you for listening, more to come.
