Mónica Hernández y Arnaud Lefeuvre estudiaron ciencias políticas y biología respectivamente y se han dedicado a llevar una vida sustentable durante varios años. Primero a través del proyecto Finca Mono Verde, una finca ecológica localizada en la costa norte de Ecuador que está dedicada a la experimentación, demostración, y educación de prácticas de agricultura sustentable. Y hoy, a través de la apicultura y agricultura orgánica en Bretaña, Francia.
Ellos nos cuentan del proyecto Finca Mono Verde, la permacultura y agricultura orgánica, la sostenibilidad desde un marco holístico y práctico y la importancia del apoyo a nivel gubernamental para promover estas prácticas, al igual que su visión para un futuro más sustentable.

Mikel Cármenes Cavia es uno de los fundadores y el VP de ingeniería de Onfleet, una empresa de tecnología en la industria de las entregas basada en San Francisco, California.
Onfleet provee un servicio de software para la optimización y gestión de delivery en la última milla a través de una subscripción a clientes en todo el mundo.
Mikel nos cuenta qué es la última milla y por qué es tan importante en la industria de las entregas. Hablamos también de cómo el COVID-19 ha afectado a esta industria y cómo la pandemia puede acelerar el futuro de las compras a domicilio.
Mikel tiene una óptica muy interesante para tratar este tema puesto a que su empresa tiene un perspectiva ojos de águila sobre esta industria ya que provee sus servicios a clientes que hacen entregas en una variedad enorme de industrias, desde la comida hasta el cannabis.

Antes que nada déjenme decir que lo primero que debemos matar es el concepto de “matar” el tiempo. Todo lo contrario, el tiempo debe ser “invertido”, y cuando se trata de cultivar una mentalidad de positivismo y crecimiento, el uso de las palabras importa, entonces cambiemos nuestra mentalidad, y nuestras acciones, y pasemos de ser “matones” a “inversionistas”. Es más, me atrevo a decir que no hay mejor momento para hacer este cambio que ahora.

Let me start by saying that the first thing we need to kill is the concept that time needs to be “killed” at all. On the contrary, time needs to be “invested”, and when it comes to cultivating a mindset of positivity and growth, language matters, so let's shift our mindset and actions from "killers” to “investors". I would go even further and say that there is no better time than NOW to make that shift.
