During my stay in Totnes, I got a chance to visit the Transition Town Totnes office and interviewed Holly Tiffen, a staff member, about her experiences and thoughts on Transition. In the background, you can here the click of keyboards in the office and the call of seagulls from outside the window.
In the upcoming episode, I will be talking more in depth about my time in Totnes and at the nearby Schumacher College.
The second episode of this podcast, in which I encounter my first shire-like place in Europe: Vauban in Freiburg, Germany. In this episode, I talk about some of Vauban's sustainable practices, embarrass myself by discussing my love of kids (in a totally non creepy way), and of course make more corny Lord of the Rings references.
