The focus of Pet Panorama is to educate, share, and interact with Companion Pet Parents while exploring the realm of Holistic Pet Care and Husbandry. Our pet show will reveal the more natural approaches available to raising healthy pets so they can thrive and not just survive. The material and your participation will be organized and presented with different monthly topics along with four related weekly subtopics. You’ll have the opportunity to ask questions directly and share your experiences too! We also encourage participation via Social Media and E-mail.
Pets experience PAIN just like we Humans do. But they cannot tell us how they feel and where it HURTS. Dr Julie Mayer will discuss the different kinds of pain, how we can recognize pain in our pets, what should a pet parent do when their buddy is in pain, the kinds of allopathic medications and treatments, Holistic approaches to pain, and rehabilitation and physical medicine to treat pain
Dr Julie will describe different kinds of Supplements for Pets How to look for good quality in Supplements Life stages and what supplements may be necessary for health Why the pet guardian will need to supplement
Dr Mayer will talk about Functional Foods and Nutrigenomics and the Science of Feeding your dog to achieve OPTIMUM HEALTH. Highlights of Raw and Home Cooked diets will be briefly discussed. The risks and the health benefits and the challenges of these prepared diets will be explored.
Dr Julie Mayer will discuss the kinds of ingredients in commercial pet foods and how they are placed on the label; the AAFCO (Association of American Feed Control Officials) definitions of certain ingredients; Dr Mayer will also discuss the real definitions of the MARKETING words used on the package/can.
The kick off episode I will talk about the format of the show and will introduce myself and to let them know how we will cover the topics and to encourage them to think about and post questions or call in LIVE.
