We are on a sermon series called "Getting Back Up." This week's message is focused on Jacob from Genesis 32: 22-32. Jacob has a vision of wrestling a man all night and he discovers that the man is God. Jacob will not let go until the man wrestling him blesses him. His hip is injured but he walks away knowing he had seen God face to face and lived to tell about it. Jacob gives us a model for holding on to our faith when we struggle with doubts and difficult circumstances.
We are in a series called, "Getting Back Up." Today's message is "Make Yourself at Home."
The scripture for today's message is Genesis 12:1-4.
