This is a 3 pt. podcast with the 1st part devoted to the years prior to the popular release of Rap records. The 2nd part is concerning some of the earliest Hip-Hop and Rap records, incl. King Tim III, which is widely regarded as the 1st? Rap Record. Also on that set a nod to the West Coast with Capt. Rapp, and a joint from K-Hollywood out of San Diego CA, 1983. Last but not least is a lil mix I put together regarding the "Roxanne" phenomenon. I read somewhere that there are more than 50 "Roxanne" records, but I only own 11, and I only play like 6 or 7 of 'em. Peace DJ Slopoke do it first, do it yourself, and keep on doing it...
