June 2, 2024 | Habakkuk: Nation in Turmoil | Habakkuk 1:1-11
Habakkuk was a prophet struggling with balancing the God of justice he knows and the injustice he witnessed in the nation. He struggled with holding on to God’s plan, promises, and power because his eyes told him that God wasn’t present. How can a good God allow such evil? The words of this prophet are so real for many of us today.
But God doesn’t just leave him to struggle with this. God answers and shows Habakkuk that He has a plan far beyond what Habakkuk is able to understand.

November 5, 2023 | Holy Spirit Series | 1 Corinthians 12:1-11
The gifts of the Spirit may not be the most important doctrine in the New Testament, but they are also not something to be demoted to a marginal role in the life of the believer and the Church! The Gifts matter! They are important and discovering what they are, how they are given, and how to operate in them has the potential to be life-changing for the believer and life-giving for the Church!

We can often be intimidated by the Holy Spirit, but as a church we are going to embark on a journey of discovering exactly who the person of the Holy Spirit is and how to pursue, study, and commune with Him! This sermon is an introduction to who the Holy Spirit is; grab a notebook because we are going to be in a number of passages to get a broad picture of two aspects of His nature that are foundational for us as we walk through this series.
October 1, 2023 | Isaiah 43:14-21 | Gilmer Campus
For the last 40 years at New Beginnings God has been pouring out blessings on us, increasing us, and causing us to grow. In 1983, 65 people gathered, they didn’t have a building, they didn’t know what God was going to do, but they believe God was at work. But God is not done with us yet! He is calling us to step out and TRUST Him to do more than we can ask or imagine!

August 13, 2023 | John 6 | Gilmer Campus
In John 6 Jesus says something that dramatically changes the way He was viewed by many who were following Him—a statement that caused many to turn their back and abandon Him. These disciples were walking with the son of God, they were 24 inches away from Eternal Life itself, and they decided that the price was too much.
Jesus tells His disciples that they must fully surrender to Him and receive Him as their only hope.
