11/4/10 - I already knew this, but this was reconfirmed in my mind: iMovie is a horrible piece of software.

11/5/10 - Not every Windows XP disk comes with the recovery console.

11/6/10 - Chroma Keying in Apple Motion

10/24/10 - My hat makes a great rain shield for the Canon 7D

10/25/10 - Setting up a Minecraft server, on OSX (specifically, the enemies implementation isn't there yet)

10/26/10 - Setting attributes for columns in SQL tables.

10/27/10 - It is really difficult to get Mac OS 10.3.9 to work with anything multimedia related. It's too damn old.

10/28/10 - Learned the intro to Rock & Roll Band on Guitar, as well as a few other miscellaneous songs' main riffs (I got Knights of Cydonia by Muse down pretty well)

10/29/10 - Everyone thinks I'm 21. Also figured out Fraps and recording my screen.

10/30/10 - Got IP Printing to work at my house with a Mac.

10/17/10 - The Snow Leopard Graphics Update isn't kind to Hackintoshes. Don't install it if you got one. Still looking around for a fix for that.

10/18/10 - DV Decks require you to clean the heads with a cleaning tape every once in a while. Luckily it wasn't my tape that was messed up.

10/19/10 - blip.tv does playlists, and makes management of videos on websites so much easier than manually adding in the code

10/20/10 - A full install of Final Cut Pro would trash the internal storage on the flash-based Macbook Air (64GB).

10/21/10 - When you use a helmet cam, the angle is highly important; make sure you're tilting it downward a little bit, so you ensure you aren't just filming the sky. Figured that out the hard way.

10/22/10 - External JavaScript Menu files for websites. Awesome (and so convenient).

10/23/10 - Finding the model of a Promise RAID System and upgrading the firmware of said RAID system. The SCAN one is an E class, in case you ever wanted to know.

10/10/10 - Getting to know other student organizations/networking with people is a very good thing. I got to meet Lewis Black this way.

10/11/10 - It is possible to give a lecture on your job and bust a Meth Lab at the same time (HTCIA meeting).

10/12/10 - Figured out Spaces on the Mac.

10/13/10 - Learned how to Chroma Key the green screen at SCAN. Hilarity ensued.

10/14/10 - Ultramon doesn't save settings in terms of taskbar placement in scheme files. Sucks for my desktop with stacked dual monitors.

10/15/10 - Heaters can apparently be fixated on ceilings and look like fluorescent lights, or at least that's what they do in the Owl's Nest apartments at Keene.

10/16/10 - Jungle Juice is weird.
