Teaching is not just about loving children, but about molding and transforming a whole generation of children to love learning. Through compassion, rigorous demands for all students regardless of their differences, and a diverse curriculum; I hope to be a teacher that students can look back on and say, "She made the difference in my education!" The reasons that I chose the teaching profession are so numerous, but without the essential tools encompassing the 'ethic of care' teaching can never be the truly fulfilling profession you want it to be.
