How do you attain a well balanced, stress-free life and travel a little more? Well, today’s episode is presented by DreamBody, “For the Well-Being of your Whole-Being!”  Your favorite producer, Wayne “Richard Simmons” McMullen and his trusty sidekick, Hannah “Jane Fonda” DeClerk jump-start the episode with a testimonial from one of our members, Henry from the Netherlands. Sprechen sie Deutsch? No need, since this member shares, in English that puts even Wayne to shame, about his incredible experience on a DreamBody DreamTrip.

Wayne and Hannah tease our audience with the “More than a travel tip… tip” (tip, tip tip, top, tippity tip tip) that is sure to make you feel in “top” health while traveling. As usual, you’ll have to stick around to the end of the episode for more details.  Hannah talks about how she stays healthy and Wayne talks about his “aha moment” thanks to Today’s Feature guest interview…. and how he has decided to start drinking more water.

----more---- Today’s Feature Today’s guest is none other than nine-year DreamTrips Member and health expert Jessie Ruof.  As a Doctor of Naturopathy and expertise in both healthy living and travel making, she uses her combined expertise to share how you can add “health and wellness” to your “travel lifestyle.” Jessie explains the science behind Naturopathy, which focuses on stress management techniques by balancing the body through breathing and moving towards the ultimate goal of vitality. That is, finding a way to  live in a high optimal state that your body naturally does as a child.

Lifestyle change is the topic under discussion, as Jessie goes into some of the ways to start living better in your daily life.  Jessie encourages you to live to the fullest, and explains transitioning from once a year healthy traveler to making health part of your travel lifestyle doesn’t have to be complicated. There are some things everyone can do before travel that will prepare you for your trip.  These tips, if followed, will make you feel better all-around physically and mentally.

Chatting about DreamBody DreamTrips, Jessie recommends that these getaways are a great way to get you on the road towards wellness as a catalyst to a healthier lifestyle.  Jessie shares her philosophy “it’s never too late to start doing something good for yourself,” and in Today’s Feature, presented by DreamBody, Jessie gives you a great foundation to start.

Want to hear more about Jessie’s philosophies on health and wellness? Check out her popular blogs dedicated to the art of “Booty Shaking Wellness” (not to be confused with our social media maven Jason and his fantastic model strut) and more in-depth explanation behind her vitality method or Ujana System.

Social Beat Jason Clayden our very own health guru and fitness aficionado highlights a great feature from Trybell Magazine and talks about a recently featured article that gives five reasons why travel is considered the “new meditation” in today’s age. He also shares a great article from popular wellness blog, The Everygirl which explains why wellness travel is not only important, but is the most essential trip a person should plan this year. Costa Rica is named as one of the top five places for this type of travel, and Social Media Associate Manager, Melanie Guthrie reads a few posts from members who went on a DreamBody DreamTrips to Costa Rica last month.

Members Sherrell Jackson from Maryland and Lorri Remington from Florida give even more insight into their experience on a DreamBody DreamTrip and we thank them for sharing their experiences with us!

If you have an experience like Sherrell or Lorri’s and want to have it read on the air, tag us in your next post with #DTpodcast and our social media team just might get back to you!

Closing Our co-hosts reveal the “More than a travel tip… tip” (which you’ll have to listen to find out the answer). Don’t forget to tune into our next episode, as our team gives you a full spectrum into the world of a travel photographer. Things are heating up over at the DreamTrips Podcast , as your favorite rays of sunshine change into their favorite shorts and flip flops to take you on a warm venture to the top summer destinations across the globe.

----more----

The episode kicks off with our very own, thrill-seeking member, Nick Vasinda, as he recounts his boat-diving adventures close to the equator while on a DreamTrip to Mexico. Listen as he enthusiastically describes why this venture is just one of the many reasons why he can’t get enough of DreamTrips.

Listen as Wayne and Hannah aka your dynamic co-hosting duo, banter about the red bathing suit-clad lifeguards of the action drama series Baywatch, and why it made such waves in the eighties and nineties. Wayne surprised Hannah with a new title for the “DreamTripping Tip of the Day” now the “More than a Travel Tip… Tip!” Hannah is not amused with her inability to annunciate this new tongue-twisting title, but decides (well, let’s be honest, there wasn’t a choice) to stick around until the end of the episode for the answer to Wayne’s “sunny tip.”

Today’s Feature President of Rovia and travel aficionado Jim Menge drops by the recording studio to give his take on top summer destinations. Jim, who has visited more than 100 countries in his 30 plus years in the travel industry, stands by his personal creed, “If travel’s not adventuresome, then what is it?”

Along with the predictable summer tropical getaways, Jim also encourages stepping outside of your comfort level and trying somewhere “new and exciting.” From Canada to Indonesia, Jim offers a variety of destination gems, complete with pristine beaches and clear blue seas, that are best visited during their summer seasons.

Before moving onto the Social Beat, the team shares a quick recap, complete with member testimonials, of the DreamTrips Local event on April 6-9 at a variety of Dallas-Fort Worth hotspots.

Social Beat Jason Clayden is back this episode and shares an article from US News that rates the top summer destinations, as well as excerpts from the blog My Family Travels that highlights the top family-friendly destinations and fun excursions offered by National Parks.

Melanie Guthrie shares posts from our U.S. members Rich Sandera from St. Paul, Minnesota and Liz Tomlin from Los Angeles, California. Thanks for sharing with us and don’t forget to tag us with #DreamTripsPodcast if you want your post read on air!

Closing Hannah finally admits that Jason isn’t from Tennessee (surprise surprise) and Wayne reveals the “More than a Travel Tip… Tip”. Make sure to tune into the next episode, where you’ll get an exclusive sneak-peak on the new DreamBody DreamTrip, and listen to experts weigh in on how to stay healthy while traveling or on the go!

Speaking of experts, your favorite beach bums bring the podcast back around by wrapping up this episode with a duet in the tune of the eighties top pop hit, Cruel Summer by Bananarama. Have a guess who from this girl band, Wayne dated back in the 80s!

All hands-on deck! Climb aboard the S.S. DreamTrips Podcast as Captain Wayne McMullen, his crew of scallywags and some choice experts take you on an aquatic adventure through the world of, well… cruises.

----more----

This episode’s first stop is to the island of Fiji, where you’re visited by member Trey Stephenson, who shares his experience on a DreamTrips cruise to this tropical paradise.

Next, it’s all hands-on deck as captain Wayne is joined alongside his salty first mate Hannah DeClerk.  Get to the bottom of Wayne’s obsession with the popular, 1980’s American television series “Love Boat” and other famous movies set on board cruises. Hannah takes the helm for a minute as she guides us through a few of the newly added cruise locations added by Rovia™, but becomes a bit adrift when describing her fascination with “Old Cruisers!”

Wayne navigates the episode back in the right direction by introducing his “DreamTripping Tip of the Day”, as well as he welcomes aboard fellow seafarer, producer and host of the top-rated weekly podcast Cruise Radio, Doug Parker.

Today’s Feature Doug, an 8-year podcasting veteran with a passion for cruises, gives the podcast crew exclusive insight, reveals tips and tricks on getting the best value and much more during today’s feature.

With a home-base in Florida, Doug lives near major cruise-liner ports, and has just as much (if not more) time spent at sea than on land. As a seasoned seafarer, Doug helps you narrow down the list of numerous entertainment options by providing his personal list of the top “must do’s” while on a cruise. From mix and mingling at the “sail away” parties to enjoying the simplicity of the oceanic sunset, listen as Wayne and Doug guide you through what makes cruises incredibly magical.

The feature closes with a tale involving Wayne, a cruise and his skivvies that could invoke sea sickness, or at least make you want to jump overboard.

Hannah tries to muster up an accompanying photo from Wayne, who says this “treasure” is locked away, buried and never to resurface. We also give a special “yo ho ho” to our social media seaman Jason Clayden, who was recently recognized with a prestigious marketing award.

Before docking at our next stop, we trade in our breeches for bootstraps and mosey on over to Dallas Texas’s Gilleys and South Fork Ranch to listen to the rip-roarin’ good time we had with our members at the DreamTrips Local Taste of Texas event.

Social Beat Social Media Associate Manager Melanie Guthrie sits in the captain’s chair after Jason was forced to spend time below deck after suffering from a spell of laryngitis. Listen as Melanie talks with social media coordinator, Sarah Taylor, who shares her recent experience out at sea on a DreamTrips cruise, and the fun ensued that only comes with the DreamTrips experience. Plus, we hear about the legendary In-destination Support Team Member, Larry Fabulous, who Hannah and Wayne both call-out to during the closing of the episode. Fingers crossed he is our newest mate for future episodes to come!

Melanie wraps the segment with a social media post from our members, The Burnett Bunch, who shared about their cruise experience on twitter.

Closing Before dropping the anchor, Captain Wayne makes a slight, backward detour to revisit the “DreamTripping Tip of the Day”. Wayne spills the answer, along with a water-downed version of his knowledge on the subject. Hannah talks about her off and on relationship with the side of a ship, while Wayne treads water by attempting his impersonator “talent.” As the crew guides this episode safely back on land, the duo decides to toot their own horn one last time, in true DreamTrips Podcast fashion—going overboard with their bantering regarding top television shows and movies. Hey, at least we tried to keep it boat themed?

Help us extend an additional thank you to Doug Parker and his excellent contributions! Visit the official Cruise Radio website for episodes,  www.CruiseRadio.net. Subscribe to Cruise Radio on iTunes , Stitcher and iHeartRADIO.

Jump aboard the podcast train for a magical journey through the unique offerings of DreamTrips excursions. This episode of the DreamTrips Podcast gets off to an epic start with a quick testimonial from member, professional BMX rider and Colorado native, Gavin Malcolm. Gavin shares stories from his favorite DreamTrip to the sandy-white beaches of Cancun, where he participated in epic excursions and made a lifetime of friendships.

Next, listen as your favorite co-pilots, Wayne McMullen and Hannah DeClerk, introduce the segment from a mystery location, complete with a few Kamikaze seagulls. Can you guess the exact location of Wayne’s dilapidated sandcastle? Feel free to broadcast your guess via social media with #dreamtripspodcast.

----more----

Wayne decides to take a break from his shovel and pail to introduce his “DreamTripping Tip of the Day”. The question, which Hannah remarks sounds kinda “vague”, Wayne confirms is actually a bit tricky. “When planning your unique DreamTrip, how many excursions and what kind should you squeeze in?” You’ll get the answer at the end of the episode.

In the meantime, jump aboard the podcast train as we take you on a magical journey through the uniqueness that comes with our DreamTrips experiences. You’ll laugh, you’ll cry and you will probably not do either of these. Regardless, we can guarantee you’ll have a good time as you listen to members, experts and more share exactly what it is that makes our excursions unique.

Today’s Feature Wayne has Caitlin Zematis from Rovia™ in the studio. As a DreamTrips designer, she is charged with creating unique experiences guaranteed to create memories to last a lifetime.  Caitlin is a bit of a world traveler and talks about her favorite excursions she’s marked off her bucket list. From gorillas in Zimbabwe to Celtic curiosities, waterfalls in Brazil and Mozart festivals in Austria, Caitlin has braved it all (did we mention swimming with dangerous sea predators?).

Back to our co-hosts on the beach, where they turn their attention to an event that is hotter than Wayne’s singed and sunburned delicate, European skin. The first official DreamTrips Local, Taste of Texas is coming up, April 6-9 at three of Dallas’s hottest spots. Our hosts discuss, more specifically, the “celebrity” appearances they plan on making to Southfork Ranch and Gilleys Dallas. Will you be able to spot these two? Find Wayne and he might just teach you a bit about two-steppin’, or, in reality, how high your pain threshold is for having your feet stomped on. Hannah’s quarter-life crisis is the subject of discussion as Wayne talks about her sparkly new nose ring.

Social Beat Jason has his own sidekick in tow, DreamTrips Associate Social Media Manager, Melanie Guthrie. Melanie starts off the segment with a detailed recap of her experience while vacationing in Playa del Carmen, Mexico. Jason tells of his Costa Rica trip and all the colors of the rainbow he saw in the aquatic life.  Melanie shares social media posts from members Valerie and Amber and Jason ties up the social beat by sharing the top global ranking of the best diving locations from ScubaDiving.com.

Closing Wayne and Hannah close out the segment discussing their own take on unique excursions, and Wayne reveals his ignorance when it comes to snorkeling— let alone deep sea diving. Hannah shares a story about her uncle who is a certified scuba instructor who lives in a large city, and is forced to find creative ways to practice his techniques. Wayne reveals the “DreamTripping Tip of the Day” and your two “April Fools” reveal the location of this recording in true DreamTrips Podcast fashion.  Before our jokers bid you farewell they ask that you tune in to the next episode, about Cruises, complete with a special guest and travel expert.

Listen as your favorite podcasting team of tour guides take you on a cultural exploration to top destinations across the globe and impress the importance of experiencing the different cultures.

This episode kicks off with a bit of “culture” (or a bad attempt at) as Hannah DeClerk and Jason Clayden attempt their best “deep southern drawls” with a dramatic script reading from a 1980’s film many believe sparked the country music movement. Why have we taken a risk at potentially harming your eardrums before the actual show? We’ll give you a hint: the movie’s legacy is the venue we’ll visit on the first night of the DreamTrips Local “Taste of Texas” event.

----more----

Producer and host Wayne McMullen tries his best hand at “culture” as he gets a bit groovy with the introduction of his “DreamTripping Tip of the Day”. His teaser question teleports you beyond the time of cassette tapes to today, where he asks about a member-exclusive feature that is beneficial when discovering the local scene (hint, it isn’t a flyer stapled to a wooden post).

Finally, your favorite hosts get to the actual point of this episode, which is how to adhere to the cultural norms when you are traveling to different countries. Listen as members, experts and your hosts share experiences and tips that could help you blend in better with your surroundings—selfie stick and all (well, let’s be honest, you’ll probably “stick out” using one of those).

Today’s Feature Wayne introduces the star of the segment, Emily Tang, a six-year member and travel veteran. Emily gives personal insight on culture capturing based on her experiences while visiting foreign countries. Saying she has a wide-variety of cultural knowledge is an understatement, and Emily chooses to speak on the topics she is most well-versed. This includes the food and culture of destinations including Japan, Fiji, Venice and the far east. Find out about a very different type of Japanese accommodation and what strange delicacies Emily has tried.  We’ll warn you, if you have a weak stomach, tread carefully in this segment.

Hannah expresses her admiration for Emily’s travel expertise before our dynamic duo segue into a word from our sponsors about the upcoming DreamTrips Local three-day “Taste of Texas” event.  Listen as Wayne reveals his affinity for old glam soap operas.

Social Beat Jason and Wayne share travel information from The Huffington Post blogger, “College Tourist”, Nicole Darian. Nicole reveals in one of her posts that traveling successfully is all about experiences and immersing yourself in a new culture. We also hear from Renuka Srinivasan, a senior business analyst with our company, from India, who has a blog called Voyager for Life. She enlightens us on how we can use travel and capturing culture to become wiser people.  We complete this week’s Social Beat with a post from DreamTrips Members Kevin and April and a reminder to share stories via #DreamTripsPodcast.

Closing Melanie Guthrie with our social media team gets to say, “hello” before Wayne reveals the DreamTripping Tip of the Day.  Well worth sticking around for, and our podcast power team close out the episode in true Saint Patrick’s Day fashion.

Planning the perfect trip goes beyond knowing whether or not to pack a sweater. Listen as your co-hosts teach you how to “Know Before You Go” with our first ever, on-air game show.

Kick-off the episode with Mike Marich a long-time DreamTrips™ Member, who talks about his love of DreamTrips Local mini-vacations.  The crew introduce the “DreamTripping Tip of the Day” which asks a question about packing for a trip, and despite his co-host, Hannah DeClerk attempting to get the answer, Wayne refuses to budge until the end of the episode.  Wayne also introduces everyone to his rescue puppy Henry, who has contributed to a nice number of sleepless nights for Wayne.

----more---- Today’s Feature We give Today’s Feature a different feel in the form of our on-air game show, “Know Before You Go!” Hannah is your quiz master with Wayne her announcer as the contestants are given different scenarios in the form of questions and incidents frequently addressed by our favorite travel support team over at Rovia™.

Since a lot of these questions were tricky, and involved statements about Wayne, Hannah made sure to select contestants who are experts in the world of DreamTrips travel and work closely with Wayne and his Muttonchops at our corporate office in Plano, Texas. The contestants, videographer Logan Harris, who also serves as a behind-the-scenes audio engineer for many of our episodes, and DreamTrips™ writer Wendy Leth-Steensen go face-to-face to try to win the ultimate prize – the opportunity to never have to do this again (kidding). Actually, it is bragging rights and a chance to really get to know personal information about Wayne that they can share with others in the office.

Who is the ultimate winner? You will have to listen to find out.

DreamTrips Local’s, a taste of Texas is announced on today’s podcast via pre-recorded clip by Wayne. Listen as he tells you the details of this exclusive member event. Because, everything’s bigger in Texas! We reckon you’ll have a “darn tootin’ time!”

Social Beat Jason Clayden passes on travel tips pulled from popular travel blogs “Glitter and Spice” and “My Vogue Style”, while Wayne shares his experience with using various airline apps.  Plus, you’ll learn about a new travel trend and what millennials are really going for in their travel plans.  Of course, DreamTrips Local is the subject of discussion as the two chaps speak in their fancy accents and elaborate on what you need to “Know Before You Go!”

Closing Wayne finally reveals the answer to our “DreamTripping Tip of the Day”, which is surprisingly beneficial for all travelers.

Your co-hosts wrap up this zany and fantastic episode with a reminder to reach out via social media with #dreamtripspodcast. Don’t forget to download the podcast on the DreamTrips app, as well as subscribe and rate us on several popular platforms!

The gruesome twosome close out this episode in similar fashion by teasing to the next episode but sign off in a slightly different manner.

You’ll have to listen to have these answers revealed and more.

DreamTrips Local Update Hannah takes the podcast team on a field trip down to Kenny’s Smokehouse, a DreamTrips Local merchant located less than a mile from their office headquarters in Plano, Texas.
