We live in a world that focuses so much on our differences. People are given labels based on their views about a topic – in politics and religion. Those labels keep us from seeing the person beneath. Maybe it’s human nature or maybe it’s just taught. But it’s something we can find everywhere. No matter where we turn, labels dominate our vision and cloud our judgement. To many people outside of the church, Christian is a label that doesn’t mean good things. A Christian is supposed to be a follower of Jesus; to be Christ-like. But often, the perception of non-believers is that Christians are not like their lord. They are hateful, hurtful, do not care for the poor, and love? That’s the last attribute they’d attribute to them.

Christians are known more for what they are against rather than what they are for.

What if we could just remove the label for a moment to see the person behind that label? To see that Christians are real people?

My name is Robin. I love stories. Who doesn’t love a good story? I also love Jesus and people. When those three intersect, you have my attention.

Each week, you’ll hear stories of joy, sorrow, triumph, & defeat. We’ll talk about theology and wrestle with areas of faith. And sometimes, we’ll just talk about current events, movies, and life. Through it all, we’ll explore moments when the stories of people intersect with the story of God. They are dads, moms, daughters, brothers, sisters, sons. They are healthcare professionals and construction workers, insurance agents and lunch ladies. They are our neighbors and our friends. These are their stories.
