Scriptures:
2 Corinthians 10:3–5 (NKJV)
For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. "Nevertheless the people who dwell in the land are strong; the cities are fortified and very large; moreover we saw the descendants of Anak there."
"Then Caleb quieted the people before Moses, and said, 'Let us go up at once and take possession, for we are well able to overcome it.'
Joshua 24:15 (NKJV)
And if it seems evil to you to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.
The greatest battles are fought within. In 'Winning the Invisible War Within,' Pastor Abraham teaches how to break free from insecurities, validation, and the need for approval. Discover how to take your thoughts captive and walk in mental victory through Christ."

28When he entered the house, the blind men came to him, and Jesus said to them, “Do you believe that I am able to do this?” They said to him, “Yes, Lord.”
29Then he touched their eyes, saying, “According to your faith let it be done to you.”
30And their eyes were opened. And Jesus sternly warned them, “See that no one knows about it.”
Matthew 12:22 ESV
22 Then a demon-oppressed man who was blind and mute was brought to him, and he healed him, so that the man spoke and saw.
John 9: 1-7 ESV
1As he passed by, he saw a man blind from birth.
2And his disciples asked him, “Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?” 3Jesus answered, “It was not that this man sinned, or his parents, but that the works of God might be displayed in him.
4We must work the works of him who sent me while it is day; night is coming, when no one can work. 5As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.”
6Having said these things, he spit on the ground and made mud with the saliva. Then he anointed the man’s eyes with the mud
7and said to him, “Go, wash in the pool of Siloam” (which means Sent). So he went and washed and came back seeing.
Isaiah 6: 9-10 ESV
And he said, “Go, and say to this people: “‘Keep on hearing, but do not understand; keep on seeing, but do not perceive.’
10 Make the heart of this people dull, and their ears heavy, and blind their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their hearts, and turn and be healed.”
2 Corinthians 4:4-5 ESV
In their case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.

Scriptures:
Luke 8:40-51 NKJV
40 So it was, when Jesus returned, that the multitude welcomed Him, for they were all waiting for Him.
41 And behold, there came a man named Jairus, and he was a ruler of the synagogue. And he fell down at Jesus’ feet and begged Him to come to his house,
42 for he had an only daughter about twelve years of age, and she was dying.
But as He went, the multitudes thronged Him.
43 Now a woman, having a flow of blood for twelve years, who had spent all her livelihood on physicians and could not be healed by any,
44 came from behind and touched the border of His garment. And immediately her flow of blood stopped.
45 And Jesus said, “Who touched Me?”
When all denied it, Peter and those with him said, “Master, the multitudes throng and press You, and You say, ‘Who touched Me?’ ”
46 But Jesus said, “Somebody touched Me, for I perceived power going out from Me.”
47 Now when the woman saw that she was not hidden, she came trembling; and falling down before Him, she declared to Him in the presence of all the people the reason she had touched Him and how she was healed immediately.
48 And He said to her, “Daughter, be of good cheer; your faith has made you well. Go in peace.”
49 While He was still speaking, someone came from the ruler of the synagogue’s house, saying to him, “Your daughter is dead. Do not trouble the Teacher.”
50 But when Jesus heard it, He answered him, saying, “Do not be afraid; only believe, and she will be made well.”

In this powerful message, Pastor Abraham Tshabuse teaches on patience, perseverance, and endurance through the story of the woman with the issue of blood. Scriptures:
Hebrews 12:1 -2 (NKJV)
Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us,
2 looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
Mark 5:21 - 34 (NIV)
21 When Jesus had again crossed over by boat to the other side of the lake, a large crowd gathered around him while he was by the lake.
22 Then one of the synagogue leaders, named Jairus, came, and when he saw Jesus, he fell at his feet.
23 He pleaded earnestly with him, “My little daughter is dying. Please come and put your hands on her so that she will be healed and live.”
24 So Jesus went with him. A large crowd followed and pressed around him.
25 And a woman was there who had been subject to bleeding for twelve years.
26 She had suffered a great deal under the care of many doctors and had spent all she had, yet instead of getting better she grew worse.
27 When she heard about Jesus, she came up behind him in the crowd and touched his cloak,
28 because she thought, “If I just touch his clothes, I will be healed.”
29 Immediately her bleeding stopped and she felt in her body that she was freed from her suffering.
30 At once Jesus realized that power had gone out from him. He turned around in the crowd and asked, “Who touched my clothes?”
31 “You see the people crowding against you,” his disciples answered, “and yet you can ask, ‘Who touched me?’”
32 But Jesus kept looking around to see who had done it.
33 Then the woman, knowing what had happened to her, came and fell at his feet and, trembling with fear, told him the whole truth.
34 He said to her, “Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace and be freed from your suffering.”

Scriptures:
Revelation 1:18 (NLT)
I am the living one. I died, but look—I am alive forever and ever! And I hold the keys of death and the grave.
John 11:25 (NIV)
Jesus said to her, ‘I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die.'
1 Corinthians 15:1–4 (NLT)
Let me now remind you, dear brothers and sisters, of the Good News I preached to you before. You welcomed it then, and you still stand firm in it. It is this Good News that saves you if you continue to believe the message I told you—unless, of course, you believed something that was never true in the first place. I passed on to you what was most important and what had also been passed on to me: Christ died for our sins, just as the Scriptures said. He was buried, and he was raised from the dead on the third day, just as the Scriptures said.
Romans 10:9 (NLT)
If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
1 Corinthians 15:17 (NLT)
And if Christ has not been raised, then your faith is useless and you are still guilty of your sins.
Romans 4:25 (NLT)
He was handed over to die because of our sins, and he was raised to life to make us right with God.

Scriptures:
1 Samuel 30:1–6 (NKJV)
“Now it happened, when David and his men came to Ziklag, on the third day, that the Amalekites had invaded the South and Ziklag, attacked Ziklag and burned it with fire, and had taken captive the women and those who were there, from small to great; they did not kill anyone, but carried them away and went their way.
So David and his men came to the city, and there it was, burned with fire; and their wives, their sons, and their daughters had been taken captive.
Then David and the people who were with him lifted up their voices and wept, until they had no more power to weep…
Now David was greatly distressed… But David strengthened himself in the Lord his God.”
Ephesians 6:12 (NKJV)
'For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. '
1 John 3:8 (NKJV)
He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.
1 Peter 5:8-9 (NKJV)
Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. 9Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world.
2 Corinthians 10:3-5 (NKJV)
3For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. 4For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, 5casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ,

They make the things happen that I want to happen,

Matthew 8:5-13MEV
And when Jesus entered Capernaum, a centurion came to Him, entreating Him, and saying, “Lord, my servant is lying at home, sick with paralysis, terribly tormented.” Jesus said to him, “I will come and heal him.” The centurion answered and said, “Lord, I am not worthy that You should come under my roof. But speak the word only, and my servant will be healed. For I am a man under authority, having soldiers under me. And I say to this man, ‘Go,’ and he goes, and to another, ‘Come,’ and he comes, and to my servant, ‘Do this,’ and he does it.”
When Jesus heard it, He was amazed and said to those who followed, “Truly I say to you, I have not found such great faith, no, not in Israel. And I say to you that many will come from the east and west and will dine with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven. But the sons of the kingdom will be thrown out into outer darkness. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”
Then Jesus said to the centurion, “Go your way. And as you have believed, so let it be done for you.” And his servant was healed that very moment.

casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you.
Matthew 6:25-34 ESV
“Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing?
Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?
And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his span of life?
And why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin,
yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is alive and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?
Therefore do not be anxious, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’
For the Gentiles seek after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them all.
But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.
“Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.

John 15:1 - 11 NLT
“I am the true grapevine, and my Father is the gardener.
He cuts off every branch of mine that doesn’t produce fruit, and he prunes the branches that do bear fruit so they will produce even more.
You have already been pruned and purified by the message I have given you.
Remain in me, and I will remain in you. For a branch cannot produce fruit if it is severed from the vine, and you cannot be fruitful unless you remain in me.
“Yes, I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from me you can do nothing.
Anyone who does not remain in me is thrown away like a useless branch and withers. Such branches are gathered into a pile to be burned.
But if you remain in me and my words remain in you, you may ask for anything you want, and it will be granted!
When you produce much fruit, you are my true disciples. This brings great glory to my Father.
9 “I have loved you even as the Father has loved me. Remain in my love.

I have told you these things so that you will be filled with my joy. Yes, your joy will overflow!

Hebrews 12: 1-2 ESV
Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us.
We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects our faith. Because of the joy awaiting him, he endured the cross, disregarding its shame. Now he is seated in the place of honor beside God’s throne.

Remain in me, and I will remain in you. For a branch cannot produce fruit if it is severed from the vine, and you cannot be fruitful unless you remain in me.
5 “Yes, I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from me you can do nothing.
Anyone who does not remain in me is thrown away like a useless branch and withers. Such branches are gathered into a pile to be burned.

So she set out and went and gleaned in the field after the reapers, and she happened to come to the part of the field belonging to Boaz, who was of the clan of Elimelech.

He’s the well of victory is a message that speaks to how Jesus is what is necessary in our lives.
John 7:37-39 On the last day of the feast, the great day, Jesus stood up and cried out, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, Out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.’” Now this he said about the Spirit, whom those who believed in him were to receive, for as yet the Spirit had not been given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.
Isaiah 12:3 With great joy, you people will get water from the well of victory.

Acts 20:35 GW I have given you an example that by working hard like this we should help the weak. We should remember the words that the Lord Jesus said, ‘Giving gifts is more satisfying than receiving them.’ ”
2 Corinthians 8:1 GNT Our friends, we want you to know what God's grace has accomplished in the churches in Macedonia.

Distinctive attributes of a healthy Church
The church is not an organisation as some would like to think. The church is a living organism. Living organism have one thing in common “GROWTH”. The absence of growth is indicative of poor health. The church of Jesus Christ is a growing organism, characterised by good health. Our local expression of the Body of Christ is expected to grow and to be in good health.
A healthy church is one that is first in all spheres of society. A healthy church is one that influences culture. She influences politics. She influences the economy and education. The church is never built to take cues from the world but for the world to cues from the church.
Jesus promised to build his church. He never promised to build a clinic or a house or a school. Because a healthy church will build all that society will ever need. So what are the distinctive of a healthy church?
1 Evangelism
Mark 16:15
Then he said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.
2 Fellowship
Acts 2:42
They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread, and to prayer.
1 Purposes
2 Priorities
We should do what really counts and never worry about the rest. Elisha when he after being called by Elijah his priorities changed. The church should influence your priorities.
3 Programs
Our purpose determines our priorities
Our Priorities determine our programs
3 Ministry
Romans 12:4-8
Just as our bodies have many parts and each part has a special function, so it is with Christ’s body. We are many parts of one body, and we all belong to each other.
In his grace, God has given us different gifts for doing certain things well. So if God has given you the ability to prophesy, speak out with as much faith as God has given you. If your gift is serving others, serve them well. If you are a teacher, teach well. If your gift is to encourage others, be encouraging. If it is giving, give generously. If God has given you leadership ability, take the responsibility seriously. And if you have a gift for showing kindness to others, do it gladly.
In a healthy church every member is a minister according to the grace given to them. In a healthy church every member of the body serves the purpose of God in their Generation. A healthy church has excellent ministers.

The Interface Between Grace and Faith
Faith is the “conviction of things not seen.” Noah’s ark was the evidence that pointed to the flood long before any clouds of rains could be formed or seen by anyone.
Noah built the ark because he believed that everything God said about things yet unseen. If he never believed he would have not built the ark. The ark building project started because of the grace. The sources of Noah’s faith was the grace of God. Faith is informed by grace. It was by the Grace of God that Noah was told about the events that are about to unfold.
Because of Grace he believed. Because he believed he built the ark. If it was not of the Grace of God Noah would have died will all of them. It was the coming together of the grace of God and the faith of the man that mankind was saved.
Noah had nothing to base his faith on except the grace of God. Faith is always linked to the grace of God. What areas of life are you graced in? EXERCISE FAITH IN THE AREAS OF GRACE IN YOUR LIFE. Effectiveness is found in the area of grace.
In a nutshell Faith cannot operate outside grace.
WHAT ARE THE TAKE HOME?
NB: Faith will effect you to do list first
Faith influences the activities you participate in
Noah’s to do list was to build the ark despite the unbelief of those around
Scriptures:
Hebrews 11:7
By faith Noah, being warned by God concerning events as yet unseen, in reverent fear constructed an ark for the saving of his household. By this he condemned the world and became an heir of the righteousness that comes by faith.
Genesis 6:8 But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD.
Ephesians 2:8
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

Unbelief is most often the reason why people continual live bellow Gods best. Unless unbelief is disrupted, the promises of God could be perceived irrelevant. Unbelief is the only reason people don’t walk with God. In this message we intend to show you how to live by faith by showing three essentials to live by faith as found in scriptuers:

Disrupting the Cycle of Unbelief by Pastor Abraham Tshabuse
THE POWER OF UTTERANCE
The world as we know it is a result of utterance. If God never uttered a word the world as we know today will be non existent.
Psalms 33:9
For he spake, and it was done;
he commanded, and it stood fast.
Faith is audible, faith has a sound, faith is expressed through words. Words remain the most creative force on earth. Words most often precede the manifestation. Words of faith are succeeded by natural manifestation of the supernatural - that is a miracle.
Words spoken by God have an impact on our beliefs
Words spoken by us have an impact on our destiny, we speak on the basis of what we believe.
Mark 5:27
She had heard the reports about Jesus and came up behind him in the crowd and touched his garment.
Matthew 8:8
The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed.
What you hear is moderated by your ability to discernment and to connect the dots:
Discernment:
Connecting the dots:
Unless you successfully connect what you hear (promise of God) to your current reality, faith will remain a theological term.
What you hear and say work to generate a life of Faith
Two fundamental skills:
Developing a Godly Attitude Towards Work
In South Africa in 2021 only 66% of working age population are engaged with work. A small fraction of the youth is employed in South Africa.
Those who have work opportunities need to be encouraged to do their best as workers working unto the Lord. We need to encourage those in the house of God to be part of the solution in our nation. When society is characterised by large numbers of people not active in meaningful work. Evil increases. Mental health problem increase. Crime increases. Children get to suffer from malnutrition and are kept away from educational opportunities. Unemployment is injustice.
The church of Jesus Christ holds the answers and is the solution.
A Godly attitude towards work will always start with God
Work originated with God. Mankind was created in the image and likeness of God.
God is a creator
Genesis 1:1
In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
Gods work is very good
Genesis 1:31
God saw all that he had made, and it was very good indeed. Evening came and then morning: the sixth day.
God worked six and rested one
If God took rest from work, we are similarly expected to do likewise. Rest is a necessity after a process of creating amazing things for God in your generation.
Conclusion
We are responsible for our attitude towards work
God is responsible for the blessedness and grace upon of our work
Nehemiah 4:6 CSB
So we rebuilt the wall until the entire wall was joined together up to half its height, for the people had the will to keep working.
The Mindset to Keep Working
God wants you to have the will to Keep Working
God wants all his children to work, the enemy is against you working.
WORK is a spiritual matter, before it is a economic matter.
Anything that carry the purpose of God is subject to opposition from the enemy. Deciding to get back into employment or starting that business or to do well in your career, opposition becomes a constant. Nothing great has been achieved without opposition. You want to become significant, then embrace opposition. A life characterised by the absence of opposition is a life characterised by mediocrity.
How to be progressive despite opposition?
Progress despite opposition is the resultant of the attitude to keep working no matter what. When the going gets tough, what makes the difference is the heart to work and not ability or talent. In a season of opposition ability or talent does not count.
What counts is the willingness to work despite the opposition.
In a season of opposition the grace of God is there to back you up as you grind.
Opposition to work comes in two fold: VERBAL, and PHYSICAL.
What people SAY or DO to you may have the potential to positively or negatively influence your progress. Many careers have come to end because of what was said or done. Similarly what was said has propelled some people to greater heights.
Romans 8:31 (CEV)
What can we say about all this? If God is on our side, can anyone be against us?
1 Verbal opposition
Nehemiah 4:3 CSB
Then Tobiah the Ammonite, who was beside him, said, “Indeed, even if a fox climbed up what they are building, he would break down their stone wall!”
Verbal opposition should not have a negative bearing on a believer. You can flip around negative words aimed at you. Seek to reframe every negative saying towards you with positivity. Aim to exceed every negative word, by consciously working hard to succeed no matter what.
What everyone around has to say about you is not important, what God say about you is more important. The promise of God is everything. What they say about you does not negate what God has already said. God has given your the power to generate wealth.
2 Physical opposition
Every physical opposition in a believer is influenced by a spiritual force. Take up your spiritual amour. We restless not agains human opposition. The opposition might seem to come from humans, but it is Spiritual. Take-up you spiritual arms. You can never win a spiritual battle in the physical. Don’t fight the manifestation, fight the source.
Ephesians 6:12 CSB
We are not fighting against humans. We are fighting against forces and authorities and against rulers of darkness and powers in the spiritual world.
What they do to your or your work does not negate the purpose of GOD FOR YOUR LIFE.
Romans 8:31 (CEV)
What can we say about all this? If God is on our side, can anyone be against us?
Conclusion
Nehemiah 4:15 CSB
When our enemies heard that we knew their scheme and that God had frustrated it, every one of us returned to his own work on the wall.

Why you should lean on the promise of God?
The promise of God is what you keep on going towards
Hebrews 6:15
And so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise.
Obtain is in context of this scripture is the Greek verb epitynchanō suggesting to arrive at. The promise has been there, he had to keep on going to arrive to the promise or to reach the promise. The promise of God is set, we have to move towards the promise.

So we do what we do so that the alter of worship is restored in the hearts of all people. Restoring worship in the lives of people, is restoring them to their first love.

1 Timothy 4:15
Put these abilities to work; throw yourself into your tasks so that everyone may notice your improvement and progress.
Rebel against low expectations, don’t allow anyone to despise your youth
Don’t adapt to the low cultural expectations
All people are born normal
Every great person you see or know made a choice to be great
A choice has to be followed with a commitment
That is to say commitment attaches action to your choice
Every significant achievement is as result of devotion to something greater
Think of Abraham: he had to take responsibility and follow through
John 15:8 (TLB)
My true disciples produce bountiful harvests. This brings great glory to my Father.
“IT IS TO THE FATHERS GLORY, THAT YOU BEAR MUCH FRUIT, SHOWING YOURSELF TO BE THE DISCIPLES OF CHRIST (JOHN 15:8)
John 15:16 (TLB)
“You didn’t choose me! I chose you! I appointed you to go and produce lovely fruit always, so that no matter what you ask for from the Father, using my name, he will give it to you.
SERMON notes
Jeremiah 12:5
“If racing against mere men makes you tired,
how will you race against horses?
If you stumble and fall on open ground,
what will you do in the thickets near the Jordan?
BACKGROUND:
Jeremiah 11:23
Not one of these plotters from Anathoth will survive, for I will bring disaster upon them when their time of punishment comes.”
Jeremiah was impatient to wait out and see the plan of God. Jeremiah 12:1-4, Jeremiah seeks swift justice despite what God had already promised. The end of plotters from Anathoth has been determined. However, they seemed to prosper and producing fruit. This rub off Jeremiah in a bad way kind off. Jeremiah complained to God regarding the prosperity of the wicked. Verse five is Gods answer to Jeremiahs impatience. The answer does not address Jeremiahs questions directly.
You desire to understand God and have answers to everything. He wants you to trust and believe him always...
You want the reasons for COVID 19 - yet the Lord wants you to have faith.
Apples and oranges
Definition
“used with reference to two things that are fundamentally different and therefore not suited to comparison.”
The sin of benchmarking
The problem with dreams is that they are framed by the known and therefore the always introduce a sense of limitation or some kind of glass ceiling. The things that God wants to do has not entered the mind or heart of man. Therefore, benchmarking introduces a sense of Limitation and therefore contradicts God.
The sin of benchmarking! Benchmarking determines your altitude. In a sense that you are scored based on the known. You are only as good as the standard set. Living the life of the kingdom requires us to live outside the system of this world, we’re we have no limitations.
Principle: Things of the kingdom cannot be benchmarked at least by humans. That is like comparing apples to oranges, both are fruits but they are not the same.
Why you must fix your eyes on Jesus Christ
Benchmarking, focus on you against the world. The bible teaches that we must Focus on Christ. Not ourselves. We don’t preach about ourselves, but Christ. Be determined to know nothing but Christ crucified.
The danger of looking at what God is doing in other peoples lives is that If God dealt with all of us according to what we deserve, non of us will be here. What you see in other peoples lives is the grace of God, and therefore you cannot compete with grace.
The non believer see the extension of Gods grace daily as God allows prosperity in their lives.
The believer on the other hand has to partner with God and work in tandem with the grace of God. The believer has to work in tandem with the anointing
As a believer you move into a dimension were you run out of luck and begin to create successive breakthrough by the power of God working mightily in you. The life I now live, is be faith in Jesus Christ.
We all don’t know what 2021 has for us, yet we have learnings from 2020
We all don’t know what 2021 has for us, yet we all can cultivate habits that can help us to become the best that God has for us
The habits you cultivate today set you up for the following year
Winning the small battles prepares you for the greater challenges of the year to come
In the small battles you win daily you discover that the battle is the Lords. Victory belongs to Jesus
You are still here - you owe God faith in the form of GRATITUDE
First things first:
Public victory is preceded by years of private training
Overnight success you say. You actually mean 15 years of private hard work (a wise businessman )
40% of the actions people perform daily are not the decision people make but are basically habits - one study from DUKE University found
People do not decide their futures, they decide their habits and their habits decide their future - a wiseman once said.
Allow me to introduce the ULTIMATE habit that will most certainly decide your destiny:
RESTLESS
Definition: No physical or emotional rest, involving physical activity or Motion
The art of the habit of restlessness
Genesis 27:40
By your sword you shall live,
and you shall serve your brother;
but when you grow restless
you shall break his yoke from your neck.”
Esau will serve his brother, however that can change when he become RESTLESS
Isaiah 52:2
Shake yourself from the dust and arise;
be seated, O Jerusalem;
loose the bonds from your neck,
O captive daughter of Zion.
IT IS OUR PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY TO ARISE AND LOOSE THE YOKE
HOW DO WE DO THIS?
Prayer is the strategy that God put in place for all to use. So we have to be restless in our prayer life.
Today episode is based on:
James 5:13-18
Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing praise. Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working. Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayed fervently that it might not rain, and for three years and six months it did not rain on the earth. Then he prayed again, and heaven gave rain, and the earth bore its fruit.
The framework of an effective believer
There is still room for the church and elders in this generation. Don’t be mislead. Some situations require a prayer partnership between you and the church
God attends to the prayers of the righteous. Think of Elijah, he was a man just like us yet he prayed that it cease to rain and he prayed again fo it to rain.
Sin in our lives is the biggest obstacle to effective prayer. Receive the forgiveness of God.
When you pray in an impassioned manner, you are bound to receive what you have requested.

BE ON THE LOOKOUT FOR PART TWO: we go really deeper in the subject.
Welcome to another episode of the We Believe Podcast with pastor A. Today we look at one habit that characterised the life of Christ on Earth.
Jesus was characterised by a HABIT of prayer throughout his ministry here on earth. For example Mark 1:35
To be effective in matters of life or career. We need to look unto Jesus and do as he did. We need to also cultivate a life characterised by the habit of prayer.
Prayer is a habit because:
Prayer is a Godly habit that can be cultivated. The advantage of this habit is:
The most important prayer you will ever make in your life is the prayer of salvation. That is to ask Jesus Christ to be your Lord and Saviour. That is to ask Jesus to be in charge of your life, agreeing with him that you need him to help you to steer your life to the right direction. Let us make a prayer of salvation according to Romans 10:9-10
If you have made this prayer, you are saved and therefore you are now born again, and therefore a son of God. A joint heir with Christ and therefore your life is new and God will make things around you new.

Grace is preceded by purpose. Purpose supersede unbelief. Find out how purpose manifest prosperity and blessings in your life.
I AM HERE TO DISPLAY THE WORKS OF GOD
Jeremiah 1:4-10
Now the word of the LORD came to me, saying,
“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you,
and before you were born I consecrated you;
I appointed you a prophet to the nations.”
Then I said, “Ah, Lord GOD! Behold, I do not know how to speak, for I am only a youth.” But the LORD said to me,
“Do not say, ‘I am only a youth’;
for to all to whom I send you, you shall go,
and whatever I command you, you shall speak.
Do not be afraid of them,
for I am with you to deliver you,
declares the LORD.”
Then the LORD put out his hand and touched my mouth. And the LORD said to me,
“Behold, I have put my words in your mouth.
See, I have set you this day over nations and over kingdoms,
to pluck up and to break down,
to destroy and to overthrow,
to build and to plant.”
Purpose supersedes perceived youthful limitations and obstacles
Joshua 1:9
Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.”
The very perceived limitations are repurposed to display the works of God in our generation
Why are you born the way you are and we’re you are?
John 9:3
Jesus answered, “It was not that this man sinned, or his parents, but that the works of God might be displayed in him.
Youthful dreams cannot be sabotaged
John 9:1-9
As he passed by, he saw a man blind from birth. And his disciples asked him, “Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?” Jesus answered, “It was not that this man sinned, or his parents, but that the works of God might be displayed in him. We must work the works of him who sent me while it is day; night is coming, when no one can work. As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.” Having said these things, he spit on the ground and made mud with the saliva. Then he anointed the man's eyes with the mud and said to him, “Go, wash in the pool of Siloam” (which means Sent). So he went and washed and came back seeing.
The neighbors and those who had seen him before as a beggar were saying, “Is this not the man who used to sit and beg?” Some said, “It is he.” Others said, “No, but he is like him.” He kept saying, “I am the man.”
A disciple should have the privilege to ask question with his teacher. In the absence of questions there is no effective discipleship. The teacher is there to teach and answer questions.
John 9:2 And his disciples asked him, “Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?”
Every question is important! The question asked here was judgmental? The question here had a preconceived conclusion about the matter. Learning let us be careful about how we communicate in particular during difficult and sensitive times!
Sometimes there is no link between sin and suffering!
2 Corinthians 5:21
For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.
Evil, sickness, death, lack, poverty and pain provide an opportunity for redemption
Galatians 3:13-14
Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us—for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who is hanged on a tree”— so that in Christ Jesus the blessing of Abraham might come to the Gentiles, so that we might receive the promised Spirit through faith.
Jesus came to redeem mankind from all the forces of the evil one. In essence the works of darkness can be repurposed for the display of the works of God.
Difficult times in some instances are linked to salvation, prosperity, elevation and progress. Your elevation is most often preceded by difficult times. The presence of evil does not negate the blessing in your life. The blessing of God is greater than evil or curse.
What do we do now?
Jesus is the master of repurposing, it started with him. Follow me - I will make you a fisher of man.Peter and friends were not ready to follow - they had to adapt there and there
Joseph was never ready - he had to adapt and use his gift in prisons. Because of continual adaptation he eventually found himself in the palace.Every dream requires continual repurposing until the full manifestation.Come follow Jesus - he sees your failure as a platform for success and elevation
The revelation of who Christ is? directly impacts our purpose. Our original purpose is repurposed to serve the master. Failed fishermen become successful fisher of man in the hands of Christ. In Christ there is always a new purpose for all. Come to him.
Genesis 50:20
You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives.
Repurposed: Adapt for use in a different purpose
The best results in life can come from adaption rather than invention
Invention is important but adaption is even more important. You Stay ahead of the curve by being adaptable
The most important skill for the future is adaptability.
All major miracles are preceded by the presence of the Holy Spirit. All effective and fervent prayers are the work of the Holy Spirit. It is the Holy Spirit that gives utterance (Acts 2:4). All effective witnessing is preceded by the presence of the Holy Spirit (Acts 1:8). All Godly Achievements are preceded by the present of the Holy Spirit
Healing is preceded by the presence of the Holy Spirit - healing is the Gift of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 12:9): we therefore experience this gift of healing as recipients of healing or as the channel in which it is administered. Faith is also referred to as the Gift of the Spirit (1 Corinthians 12:9). Fundamentally, an effective life can only be attained by having the Holy Spirit at the core! All prophecy is inspired by the Holy Spirit. Any godly thing we do is by the Holy Spirit:
Your network does not determine you net worth. It is the quality of friends and family that determine your altitude. Prioritising family and quality friends is everything.
Our personal responsibility to become cannot be outsourced. What we become is our full-time responsibility and calling.
