Host Chris Madrigal talks sports with numerous guests from the fan point of view. They go over everything from culture, sports politics, criticism of management, game strategy and much more. There isn’t a topic he doesn’t try to dig into to see all perspectives.

Chris talks through the College Football Playoff and why he thinks the committee picked the four teams that got in and why the snubs ultimately got left out.

Ben Brouillette joins Chris to recap UFC 254 and the announcement of Khabib Nurmagomedov retiring. Then they play match maker and talk about how the division makes up now that the most competitive division is looking for a champion.
Then Chris is joined by Brad Field and Jay Mansker for NFL/NCAA week 8 of $5 picks. They talk about the biggest games in the Big 10 and Big 12 as well as the playoff fringe matchups while finishing it off with the game of the week between the Raven and the Steelers.
Chris introduces a new segment called "$5 Picks" where he picks two college games and three NFL games for the weekend and analyzes them with Brad Field and Jay Mansker. They make picks and keeps score at the end to determine who the winner is.

After one game of play in each matchup the guys talk about what they saw and how they think the rest of the series will pan out based on game 1. Also, Xavier explains what the hidden McDonalds order the McGangBang is.
Chris goes solo this week as he talks about the NBA 8th seed playoff scenarios. He talks about the four teams battling to get into the play in tournament round between the 8 and 9 seed in the Western Conference. With one game left in the regular season to play there are a lot of scenarios that could pan out. (00:01:44)
