Heavy Boom's Top Tunes: Recent Episodes

Heavy Boom

Soul and reggae tunes that I like. Stuff I play at Tighten Up! Club nights, and some stuff I dig but doesn't always fit into the all-dance format of our DJ nights.

It's pretty rare to have King Penn back in town. He helped us get tighten Up! Club started and moved out East, but he's gonna be back helping us out for NYE, so we got together this afternoon and threw down some tracks. Opened up with a bit of British R&B (including a cover of a song from the last podcast), then worked into our soul and reggae from there. As always, Tighten Up! Club uses only vinyl, from our personal collections.
