Biography
Internationally acclaimed DJ, producer, radio host, and label owner Darin Epsilon is often referred to as a leader of the Progressive & Tech House scene. His Perspectives radio show and podcast, along with his frequent guest appearances on Sirius/XM Satellite Radio allow him to reach tens of thousands of listeners on a regular basis. His SoundCloud page alone has over 1 MILLION total plays and receives a whopping 10,000 plays per month. He launched his record label Perspectives Digital in November 2010 as an extension of the brand, further solidifying his influence and presence
within the global dance community. To top it all, he was named one of the winners in John Digweed & Beatport's DJ Competition during the summer of 2011.
As a gifted student of music from an early age, former record shop employee, and former director of a college radio station, Darin draws inspiration from his nearly encyclopedic knowledge and genuine appreciation of electronic music. A part of the very fabric of the UK techno scene, Dave Angel’s status as an erudite for electronic culture is anything but hyperbole or smothered in exhausting superlatives, but cemented in facts and encased in the endless memories of those who have lived, loved and danced, to the astonishing output of music he has created over the years.
Born the son of a Jazz musician and elder brother to British hip-hop artist Monie Love, Dave’s path in music came to the fore during the explosion of acid house in London, back in the late 80’s. Hosting one of the zeitgeist shows of its time, his weekly broadcast on pirate radio station Phaze One (alongside Fabio and Groverider), saw him champion a new sound that was gradually captivating the youth of the country and catapulted him into the media spotlight, with notable publications including Mixmag, DJ Magazine and The Guardian; all proclaiming Dave as a one of the major forces in the UK techno/acid house scene.
DJing professionally formed through a natural development prior to the recording process, as in 1989 after tinkering at home with a basic set-up of a keyboard and two tape decks, his first attempts at production created a somewhat controversial ‘Nightmare Mix’ edit of Eurhythmics ‘Sweet Dreams’.
Initially a funk DJ, the TB-303 changed his life: "When I got into techno and acid it was like ‘this is the new sound, this is the new technology!’", says Dave. "I was thinking: ‘this is the music of the youth, and 20 years from now it’s going to be like the rock of the sixties!’- I had to get in on it”.
Angel’s reworking of ‘Sweet Dreams’ generated such reaction at club level, that RCA were forced to officially release the track; which went on to debut at #23 in the UK Singles chart. The track’s success launched Angel’s name on a national level and opened his possibilities to a wide selection of creative opportunities. Most notably are his EP’s ‘The Family’ on Apollo, ‘Royal Techno’ on Rotation Records and his classic ‘Sea’s Of Tranquillity’ EP, hailed as a landmark release by the techno intelligence.
Since this initial success Dave has not lost his drive to create music, which continues to be regarded as some of the bravest and most influential electronic music Britain produces. Often turning up to his early sets armed with a screwdriver in order to tear apart his Technic 1210s, by abolishing conventional BPM’s his sound has managed to pioneer, whilst still retaining classic inspirations.
Heavily influenced by the Detroit sound, Dave’s back catalogue is punctured with singles, EPs and remixes on some of music’s most reputable record labels that include Polydor/Love, OuterRythum, Fnac, React Records, Island, R+S and Outrage imprints, amassing impressive sales units and critical acclaim during his 20+ years as a producer.
As a remixer, he has been invited by some of electronic music’s most revered artists and acts to apply his artistic trade to their music. These include Orbital, Sun Electric, Carl Cox, Spooky, James, Roni Size and Underworld. One of his most highly-acclaimed remix duties includes Juan Atkins’s Model 500 alter-ego, where he skewed the sparkling “I Wanna Be There” into a broodingly weighty offering. Equally propelling him further onto the conscious radars of techno impressionists whom matter, Carl Craig’s Drums Suck Mix of ‘Airborne’ taken from the Handle With Care EP, was met with mass praise from fans and critics alike, revealing itself as a twelve-minute expedition of definitive, elastic electronica.
The formation of his renowned recording imprint Rotation Records not only allowed Dave to create some of his most exquisite work to date but also gave the earliest platform to some of the biggest names in the scene today. Artists such as Adam Beyer, Christian Smith, Deetron, Vince Watson, Laidback Luke, The Advent, Jamie Anderson, Bryan Zentz, Steve Rachmad and Misstress Barbara among many, all cut their earliest grooves on the label and each helped to define Rotation as both a purveyor for fresh sounds and emerging talent.
Fast forward to 2014 and Dave was back on Bedrock Records with the highly regarded triple header ‘Voodoo EP’, which went on to score a Beatport Top 20 and strong support from a host of big hitters including Pete Tong, who spun it on his BBC Radio 1 show exclaiming “The return of Dave Angel” along with Eats Everything quoting “Dave Angel is one of my heroes and this is massive!!” and of course Bedrock head honcho John Digweed amongst many others. Further output in the same year saw continued Pete Tong BBC Radio 1 support on the London based Anjunadeep release, ‘Quartz’.
And it doesn’t stop there. In early 2015 Dave made a debut on the industry renowned Crosstown Rebels with ‘Revelation’ & ‘Guru’ proving the ability to effortlessly turn his hand to a deeper, hypnotic and more twisted sound for Damian Lazarus’ revered label. The release went on to receive three Mixmag reviews over February & March with BBC Radio 1 airplay from B.Traits, premieres on THUMP and Clash, whilst a Beatport chart placement of #21 made an all round success of this debut. The list of support went on and on. Bringing us bang up to date, and Dave’s latest Bedrock outing entitled ‘Progress’ literally progressed up the Beatport chart to a Top 10 placement, garnering support right across the board that included Adam Beyer on his ‘Drumcode’ radio show all the way to a surprising Above & Beyond spin on their internationally reaching ‘Group Therapy’ radio show.
Roll forward to now and Dave has just returned from an intense U.S. Tour in autumn, with no signs of slowing down, his latest studio project ‘Scorpion’ is due to land on Bedrock Records in November 2015. Following this up will be by his long awaited EP for L.A. based Halocyan Records in 2016 and a busy European tour schedule to watch out for!
As has long been attested by the scenes biggest names and continually backed up by his constant slew of robust dancefloor gems, Dave Angel remains one of the electronic community’s true characters, whose industrious approach to his craft gives off an aura of positivity like no other, a kind of warmth that you cannot fail to feel through his exceptionally, uplifting music.

Steve Cook Biography :
Steve has been involved with underground music for over 20 years. Raised on Acid House and UK Hardcore.
Steve started Dj’ing in the mid 90’s and had built himself a basic studio set-up by the dawn of the millennium.
As time went by, the set up grew and Steve slowly taught himself how to use the equipment.
At some point in the mid 2000’s Steve met Matt Walsh, Their love of Acid, Disco and obscure synth music inspired them to get in the studio together and after a few sessions Clouded Vision was born.
Steve’s production skills and Matt’s DJ expertise soon got them noticed. Their first collaborative effort was ‘Saturation’ a full on Acid workout that caught the attention of Turbo records head honcho and superstar Tiga.
Clouded Vision followed this with a trilogy of high profile remixes for Turbo Records (Moby, Cari Lekebusch, Brodinski)
Under the name of Clouded Vision, Steve has remixed a wide range of artists including.. Toob , King Roc, The Invisible, The Golden Filter, Dan Black, We Have Band, Johnny Dynell, Hannah Holland, Drvg Cvltvre, Catalepsia. And has released music on respected labels such as, Meant, Throne of Blood, Days of Being Wild, Dummy, Kill’em All, Batty Bass… to name a few
The last 2 years have seen Steve develop as a solo artist in his own right.

There are DJs that are instantly recognisable because of their standing in the scene, their visibility on social media or the wacky things they do, and then there are equally talented, immensely passionate people who prefer to work off the radar, people like Steve Parry.
A working DJ since the age of 15, Steve has amassed a wealth of musical knowledge and honed some serious DJ skills over his time working as manager of the world famous 3 Beat records, a 3 year residency at Cream in Liverpool and a host of headlining gigs across the globe. As a radio host, his Red Zone show ran for 10 years on Juice FM featuring the hottest new music and regular world class DJ guests. His new show on Frisky radio continues in that vein delivering the best new music around.
As a promoter Steve has had much success. Firstly with his legendary ‘Alderaan’ nights which ran from '97 - 2001 in a room above the infamous Lemon Lounge helped to shape the very scene Liverpool has become known for. Steves attention to detail and crowd focused guest selections has built a solid and lasting reputation in his hometown and far beyond. His new project - Luna is shaping up to be just as influential and acts as a welcome antithesis to a scene in the stranglehold of corporate greed.
These days Steve is mostly found working on his company - SMP3 Music Management. where he sources music for a diverse range of DJs including Sasha, Just Be, Sander Klienenberg and many others. SMP3 also has a promo mail out service which regularly features tracks from labels as far ranging as Bedrock, Sudbeat, mircoCastle and Sprout. Steve has also turned his hand to acting as an A&R Consultant to a number of high profile labels alongside working on his own record label with Dave Seaman called Selador.
A lifelong ambition having been involved with music for so long, the labels primary aim is to showcase the musical diversity of both Steve and Dave, and its success so far is mainly down to their passion and utter devotion to quality over quantity.
Production is also on Steves mind these days with several remixes out during 2014 and a new EP and further remixes due in 2015. A music fan at heart, he is most happy immersed in his number one passion.

His relationship with music starts when he began studying music at ten, but his interest in electronic music grows few years past, especially for actual house and techno music. JazzyFunk from Italy is an experimental Indie Dance / Nu Disco / Deep House Band with Funky and Soul influences. It was formed in 2009 by a collaboration with Macs Cortella (dj/producer) and Filippo Perbellini (singer/musician). The concept is based on customizing the live show with a full involvement with the audience, making it a complete performance experience.
All tracks are reworked and re-edited with what they call, “JF Mix” overlapping electronic effects and loops with live musical improvisations. Collaborations with real instruments allow us to have a great variety of sounds to expand and amplify our live set.
JazzyFunk represents a great innovation in the Deep House Music’s panorama of the last two years. Ilves & Migova, currently based in Ibiza, are born to twist house and techno. A multi-dimensional duo devoted to their passion of making people dance and telling a story through art. "Ilves" better known as Johan Ilves stormed onto the scene back in 2007 with track after track of the highest quality. With releases on labels such as Noir Music, Plastic City, Stealth, Takt and Global Underground
one of Sweden's finest deeptech producers put his name on the map and made it on to the charts. He brings ice with his technical understanding, minimalistic thinking and the moody Scandinavian touch. Daniel Steinberg has been crafting electronic music laden with personality and punch for the better part of two decades. The Berlin producer has carved his own niche in the club realm with productions that feature a quirky concoction of crisp tech house beats, infectious hooks, playful vocal samples and darker minimalist flavours.
Steinberg’s sound is built upon a playful panache that breaks free from the straitjacket of house and techno conventions and embraces the sonically unexpected. His distinct approach to club sounds, as both a DJ and a producer, has piqued the interest of discerning listeners and dancers worldwide, along with a certain Jesse Rose, who signed Steinberg to his Front Room label. Steinberg proceeded to accumulate a string of well-received releases on Front Room, such as ‘Bailando’ and ‘Keep On Movin’, in addition to dropping his debut LP as Harry Axt on Rompecabeza in 2009, before returning to Front Room in 2011 for the release of Shut Up, his first LP as Daniel Steinberg.
Shut Up firmly established Steinberg as a producer who is very much out on his own tip, offering a collection of eight tracks that oozed the character and playful panache that sets Steinberg apart from many of his techno contemporaries. The character and enterprise that Steinberg brings to the studio has seen him called upon to remix renowned producers like Phonique and Sascha Braemer, while his own tracks have been reworked by respected compatriots such as Derrick Carter, Roman Flügel, Tiefschwarz and Jens Zimmermann. Steinberg’s approach to DJing is similarly daring and disarming, a formula that has captivated crowds the world over, as he has played peak time slots everywhere from Miami, Mexico and Japan to London and Australia, all the while maintaining his eminent standing in Europe with slots at showpiece events such as the Fusion festival.
Steinberg’s standing as a tastemaker in club circles has continued to augment in the aftermath of Shut Up with the conception of his Arms & Legs label, which he cofounded in 2011 with Nils Ohrmann. The pair have used Arms & Legs label as a vehicle to showcase their distinct and inventive take on tech house sounds free of any commercial pressures.
Fittingly, it was through Arms & Legs that Steinberg released his sophomore album ‘Treptow’ in early 2013. The album followed on from a string of successful solo EPs such as ‘Joy & Happiness’, the title track of which received Beatport track of the day honours. 2014 saw Steinberg’s debut on Defected with the release of ‘Let Me Down’. The EP backed with a remix from fellow countrymen Tube & Berger became Pete Tong’s Essential New Tune on BBC Radio 1 and a subsequent top #5 beatport chart hit for consecutive months.
Anyone familiar with Steinberg’s constantly evolving and always-adventurous production ethos knows better than predict what the forthcoming Daniel Steinberg releases may or may not sound like. While there are many figures in the club scene whose sound can be pigeonholded, Steinberg sure as hell ain’t one of them.

Luca La Greca, born '76, started his activity as a dj at the age of 18, playing house and deep house. Amongst his most significant experiences, we have definitely to name the famous italian one nights "la casa sul fiume", "syncopate" and "le folies du plaisir". During 2012 he made his debut as producer for Baci Recordings.
Ian Tosel & Dean Hale are two DJs, remixers and producers, born and raised in Thessaloniki, Greece.
They started dealing with music in 2000 and producing in 2005.
Since then, they have their own studio and for the following 5 years, they were experimenting on various genres of electronic music. Influenced by the sounds of those years, their productions sound like tribal and progressive house.
Next 2 years were spent looking for the sound that fits their taste and finally they decide to completely change their style.This is when the project of ‘’Tosel & Hale’’ was born, in the year of 2012.
Deep, melodic rhythms, nu-disco elements and fat basslines, consist Tosel & Hale’s sound, influenced by artists like Patrick Podage, Finnebassen, Larse, Monte, Martin Dawson etc.
They have collaborated with artists like Marc O’ Tool, Mark Lower, Rob Made, Haze-M, Anton Ishutin, Aytac Kart, Saccao, Heavy Pins, Ran Salman, Shimmer, Patrick Podage, Moe Turk, just to name a few and their releases are on labels such as Spirit Soul Records, StayFly Records, Sleazy Deep, Κing Street Sounds, Indiana Tones, Dear Deer Records, Neon Stardust, Déepalma Records, Kiez Beats, Beachside Records, Adult Music Records, etc.
