RIVERS OF LIVING WATER
DESCRIPTION: The mind of God for the Church, is that we will become channels through whom the Holy Spirit flows. The finished work of Jesus Christ has made it possible for the Holy Spirit to indwell us, but the ultimate aim of God for making us the temple of the Holy Spirit is so that the Holy Spirit will flow from within us as Rivers of Living Water. Don't Be A Signboard:
A signboard is a board displaying a sign to direct travelers. Signboards are not mobile but stationary; they don’t join those they direct to their specific destinations. When a believer becomes a signboard, he may preach the truth alright and get people saved, healed, delivered and blessed, but he himself doesn’t live by the truth he preaches. This is dangerous, especially in this end-time when the adversary is full of wrath, roaring like a lion and seeking whom he may devour. Why become a prey of the devil when you can partner with Jesus to bring millions of souls along with you to the Kingdom of God? Don’t be a signboard!
Activating The Speakings Of The Blood: The blood of Jesus is speaking better things than that of Abel. The blood of Abel spoke vengeance; if peace and reconciliation are better than vengeance, then the blood of Jesus is speaking peace and reconciliation. If prosperity is better than poverty, then the blood of Jesus is speaking prosperity. If divine health is better than sickness, then the blood of Jesus is speaking divine health. If life is better than death, then the blood of Jesus is speaking life. However, all these better things spoken by the blood of Jesus may not be your personal experience until you activate them for yourself. Just as we say “Amen” to all the promises of God so as to make them our personal experience, even so do we need to use the Holy Communion instituted by our Lord Jesus to activate the speakings of His Blood.
Baptism In The Holy Spirit:
To be baptized means to be immersed or submerged. The baptism of the Holy Spirit or baptism in the Holy Spirit is a subject largely misunderstood by a greater percentage of the Body of Christ. Until we distinguish between “receiving the Holy Spirit” and “baptism in the Holy Spirit” as taught by the Scriptures, chances are that we may never be baptized in the Holy Spirit. Yet, it is the intent of God that we will receive the Holy Spirit after the new birth, and that the Holy Spirit in us would be given the right of way until He takes over our souls. It is only when the Holy Spirit has taken over one’s soul that one is said to be baptized in the Holy Spirit. Receiving the Holy Spirit is the beginning of the journey into baptism in the Holy Spirit. One could be baptized in the Holy Spirit the very day you receive the Holy Spirit depending on the disposition of your heart, your readiness to yield your soul under the influence of the Holy Spirit, and the hunger you have in you for the Holy Spirit to take over your soul.
Renew Your Mind:
To renew means to remove the old and replace with the new. If any man be in Christ, he is a new creation, old things have passed away and behold, all things have become new. The mind, which is a component of the soul, isn’t yet acquainted with your new nature which you received at new birth, because it is your spirit that was born again and not your soul. And until your mind is renewed, you may still be living the old life although you’re a new man in Christ. To live the transformed life in Christ, we’re admonished to renew our minds. The Altar And The Pulpit:
The altar is a place of sacrifice. A preacher who mounts the altar and does his own bidding other than the Will of God hasn’t understood the right use of the altar yet. The greatest altar ever, in human history, is the Cross of Jesus Christ; because our Lord Jesus went to the Cross, not to do His own Will, but the Will of the Father who sent Him. If we’re to make any lasting impact with the gospel in this end-time, we must remember the sacrifice of Jesus of Himself on the Cross, and be prepared to present our bodies as living sacrifices on the altars we have dedicated in our churches. Likewise, pulpit simply means, “pull from the pit.” The pulpits on our altars in our churches are to be used for no other purpose than to pull members of our congregation from the various “pits” they might have found themselves. So many of our church folks are in pits of sin, poverty, sickness, divorce, disappointment, death, just to name a few. Until and unless we use our pulpits to pull such church members from those pits, our pulpits wouldn’t be different from any other podium found in the social, entertainment and political circles.
We Must Not Fail Jesus:
How awesome to know that our Lord Jesus did not only save us, but has also made us His co-labourers and partners together in ministry, to save a lost and dying world. He laid down His life for us, and now mandates us to lay down our lives for the brethren. Jesus is counting on you and me to reach out to those who haven’t heard the gospel, as well as those who have heard but haven’t believed yet, to present the gospel to them in its simplicity; and we must not fail Jesus! 1 John 3:16 (KJV) says, “Hereby perceive we the love of God , because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.” We ought to; it’s a must! Won’t you?
Impartation Through The Laying on Of Hands:
The doctrine of laying on of hands is a fundamental teaching every child of God must know and be acquainted with. Whenever hands are laid, a gradient is created, which allows the flow of whatever the better is carrying to be imparted to the lesser. If there’s any gift to be imparted to members of the Body of Christ that will establish us in the faith like no other, it is the gift of prophecy. What has not been taught in the church is the revelation that the gift of prophecy carries with it an understanding into all mysteries and all knowledge. No wonder Apostle Paul encourages us to covet spiritual gifts, especially that we may prophesy. As you listen, may you receive an impartation that will establish you in all areas of your life.
Receive The Holy Spirit.
God’s best gift to all of humanity is His Son, Jesus Christ; and the best gift Jesus Christ has given to His Church is the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit has been given; He’s been around since the day of Pentecost. It is now the responsibility of individual members of the Body of Christ to receive what Jesus has given. You’d discover in this video that receiving the Holy Spirit is the initial step into baptism in the Holy Spirit. Until the Church distinguishes between receiving the Holy Spirit and baptism in the Holy Spirit, many believers who have received the Holy Spirit will continue to presume that they’re baptized in the Holy Spirit. It is this presumption that has caused a lot of setback in the work of the ministry of Jesus Christ. Your ability to distinguish between receiving the Holy Spirit and baptism in the Holy Spirit will go a long way to create a genuine hunger in you to give the Holy Spirit in you, the right of way.
The Gospel Simplified.
The good news of Jesus Christ, that He has saved the whole world, legally, must be told and retold in its simplicity. There are many out there who have never believed the gospel simply because of the way we have presented it. It’s time for the gospel to be simplified! It’s time to tell the whole world that so long as one hasn’t confessed the Lordship of Jesus yet, that individual is still under the lordship of Satan, because there are only two lords. No one is a lord of himself, but Satan has managed to keep humankind under the spell of his deception, making the unsaved to believe his lies. We must reverse this trend by preaching, teaching and keeping the gospel simplified.
Christian Baptism In Water:
Baptism is from Greek Word which means to dip into, plunge, immerse or submerge. We identify with the death, burial and resurrection of Christ though baptism. The burial is the outward expression of the death to sin, while the resurrection is the outward expression of the new life to God and to righteousness. Baptism is an outward expression of something that has already taken place on the inside, meaning, the believer who is a new creation in Christ, is mandated to go through the waters of baptism to fulfill all righteousness.
Applying The Finished Work Of Jesus:
What was God’s ultimate goal in allowing His Son, Jesus Christ, to go through the vicarious suffering? Why did Jesus give up the ghost after He shouted, “It is finished”? What was finished? How do we take advantage of the finished work of Jesus and apply it through the Holy Communion? These and many more questions will be answered as this message unfolds. You’d discover that the greatest miracle in human history is the ability of the blood of Jesus to remove the sin nature from the human spirit. The sin nature is the root, the source, and the cause of all evil. Once the root of all evil has been washed away from your spirit, you have every right as a child of God, to use the Holy Communion to apply the finished work of Jesus in every area of your life. Discerning The Lord's Body:
The Body of Christ is made up of many believers all over the world. Believers who gather together in the Name of Jesus in a local assembly are viewed by the Lord as one body with many different parts. Just as the parts of the human body function together to give wholeness and wellness to the body, so the Lord expects members of His Body to function together as one, working towards the unity of the Body. When one does not understand how the Body of Christ works, he/she can bring judgement unto him/herself because the individual does not know that when one member of the Body of Christ suffers, the whole Body suffers; and when one member is honoured, the whole Body rejoices. If we’re to discern the Lord’s Body, we will seek one another’s well-being as a church rather than the infighting that often plagues us.
Three Final Judgements
The history of the world revolves around the nation Israel. What happens to the nation Israel has direct prophetic implications on the calendar of the world. As this age draws to a close, Israel will be saved, according to Scripture. But it is the judgement of the great tribulation that the nation Israel will be made to pass through that will compel them to call on God in the Name of Jesus, for salvation. After Israel is saved, the nations that joined the armies of the anti-Christ against the nation Israel will be judged by Jesus on the throne of His glory. The final judgment will be the white throne judgement after which God will be all in all in the world to come. Find out more about the events during such period as you listen to this exciting audio.
The Judgement Seat Of Christ:
God is the judge of all, and judgement must begin at the house of God, hence the judgement seat of Christ. All believers, both dead and alive, who will be caught up to meet the Lord in the air will appear before the judgement seat of Christ. God has laid a foundation upon which all believers should build, which is Jesus Christ. Anything you did in this life after receiving Jesus Christ will be judged and either rewarded if your works revealed Jesus Christ through you; or, suffer loss if your works do not stand the fire of Christ’s judgement. The Believer's Hope:
God does not forbid His children from having hope for better standard of living in every area of our lives, while here in this world. In fact He wishes above all things that we prosper and be in health, just as our souls prosper. However, if our hope is for only the life we live in this world, then scripture says, we’re of all men most miserable. The believer in Christ has hope; that hope is to be like Jesus when we see Him at His coming. You’ll discover in this video why every believer must live in hope of seeing Jesus and becoming like Him.
Resurrection Of The Dead
Resurrection is the process of raising again the second time. Scripture makes us to understand that the pattern for the resurrection of all men is set by the resurrection of Christ Himself. The kind of Body that Jesus now has, is what will be given all those who are Christ’s at His coming. The Bible reveals that there is direct continuity between man’s original body and the body with which he will be provided at the resurrection.
What Is Your Level In the Prophetic
The prophetic is all about the Will of God. When we say something is prophetic, we mean that thing is in the Will of God. The Church of Jesus Christ, the Body of Christ, is expected to function here in this world as a prophetic mouthpiece, executing the Will of God, as it is in heaven. However, until we all grow up in Christ, we wouldn’t be different from the unbeliever who is described in Scripture as a slave. The believer who has grown up, is described as “stronger in the prophetic” while the one who is still a babe, is “weaker in the prophetic.” Find out from this video what your level in the prophetic is!
Repentance From Dead Works:
It is never the Will of God that any human being should perish, but that all should come to repentance. If there’s any cry of the Holy Spirit the Body of Christ must heed to, it is for us to repent from dead works. Of what benefit will it be for us to labour day and night, only for us to suffer loss, because they were dead works? For insight into what constitutes dead works, and why we must repent from them, watch and listen to this teaching, and be blessed.
Minister To The Lord
We always desire that God ministers our needs to us, but we often forget that God also desires to be ministered to. Our relationship with God is mutual; God draws near to us as we draw near to Him. God never imposes Himself on us. Until we learn to involve God in our affairs, He May never intervene in our situations. This is what baffles a lot of people in the world, because to them, if God exists, then there shouldn’t be trouble in this world. What such people don’t know is that, God responds to those who reach out to Him. Times Of Refreshing:
True rest is found in Jesus Christ. The greatest gift God has given humankind is His Son, Jesus Christ; and the greatest gift Jesus Christ has given to His Church is the Holy Spirit.
When the Holy Spirit is received, He gives you a supernatural language with which you can commune with God more effectively. It is in this communion with God that we find our true rest.
There’s nothing in this world that can satisfy the human soul than the rest that is found in Jesus Christ. May you discover this rest to your soul and be refreshed as you listen and watch.
