It’s easy to judge others on their faults and imperfections while ignoring the very same things in our own lives. Jesus says that we must remove the “plank” from our own eye before we can clearly see the “speck” in the eye of another. Let’s learn the importance of not judging others in today’s Upside Down Kingdom message. Be sure to share the experience with your friends and family by tagging them below or sending them this link.

In a close-up view, one degree of change is often negligible. But, if you add up small degrees of change over time the result can be a drastic, rotational difference from where you started. Your life is no different. Your decisions, opinions and desires can turn the very foundation of your life on its head. In His Sermon on the Mount message, Jesus teaches us how to live a humble life of purity and righteousness so that we can make an impact for His kingdom. In our current series, The Upside Down Kingdom, we’ll learn to turn our perspectives back to the correct position and place Jesus back on the throne of our lives.

The more comfortable you are the more difficult it is to wake up. But, what if the sleep you are experiencing isn’t the type where you lay your head down on your pillow? Instead, you may find yourself in a spiritual slumber where your life has been filled with the things of this world and there is no room for the one who can truly fulfill you. God is asking you, right now, to let go of the things you are holding onto with clenched fists and turn to him with open hands. This is your wake up call, this is your awakening.

Your hopes and dreams are important. They can help you set goals for yourself and a direction for your life. But, what if God’s dreams for your life are different? Would you be open to His will instead of your own? Let’s see how David dealt with that very situation in our final message from our series King David. God is always generously sowing the life changing seeds of His word into our hearts and lives. Every seed has the potential to bring about the change many of us are so desperately seeking…if it falls on a receptive heart. This week in our Summer Road Trip series Pastor Kyle breaks down The Parable of the Sower to show us how the transformational power of God’s word lies in our willingness to receive and apply it to our lives.

You know all the words to all the songs this time of year, or at least you think you do. The fa-la-la-la-las, that really quiet evening, and all the verses about that holly jolly snowguy.
But do you recall, the most famous Christmas song lyrics of all?
In our next series at Adventure Church we are going to explore some of the season's greatest hits and dig a little deeper into their meaning.
Joy to the world, the Lord is come, a thrill of hope the weary world rejoices, o come let us adore him -- Lord, you know our hearts don't deserve your glory, still you show a love we cannot afford.

We are eternally grateful for all that God has done at Adventure Church over the last 5 years. Since 2013, we’ve been reaching people far from God and helping them discover new life in Christ. We’ve seen hundreds discover new life in Christ, be baptized and step into their God-given purpose. Our church has grown from a small group of 30 people to well over 1,000 people who call Adventure Church home. While we celebrate the past, we are also excited about what God has NEXT! As we move forward, we feel God leading us to enlarge our capacity and to prepare His church for the thousands that will encounter Jesus Christ through Adventure Church.

How do we roll? Together. When you go to the movies, I'd bet it isn't alone. Is it better to watch the game with your friends, or by yourself? The Bible gives us so many examples of how life is better when we share it with others. Jesus didn't go it alone, he had 12 apostles.

When you hit rock bottom you have a choice to make. Will you quit or respond with faith? Job was stripped of literally everything yet his faith remained steadfast. One reason history repeats itself is that we don’t own our part of our history. And the reason you don’t own it is there’s nothing to own—it wasn’t your fault! But if you’ve hit rock bottom and you are starting over, you must look back and own your part in order to move ahead. Your best bet for a successful future is to own your share of the past.Support the show (http://adventure.church)

God wants your attention. He made you for His service, not your ambition. When God made you, He designed a purpose specifically for you. Before the world began, the big idea that is - YOU - was carved out of history. “For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” (Ephesians 2:10) God has created you for a specific purpose and He is calling you by name. Serving God is the job that is always hiring. He’s trying to get your attention. Will you answer? What does it look like to go “all in” in your pursuit of Jesus? Following Jesus requires surrendering all but what we have to give up fails to compare to what we can gain.
