On today’s episode, I will be discussing a frequently-asked question asked at our music school: “How do I know my child is ready to take on music lessons?” If your child is interested in music, taking music lessons will be a huge step forward along their musical journey, and I will go into detail about how to decide if your child is ready or not for lessons in this podcast.

Questions to Consider:

How does a child react to music?

Are they interested in music-related activities? (Playing instruments, singing, etc.)

Has your child shown interest in lessons?

Can your child recognize the letters A to G?

Has your child developed a degree of adequate motor skills?
