This episode was recorded 14 years ago. With the benefit of hindsight, there is no doubt this way-too-cavalier Episode would have started differently. There is no fun here as we now know what happened with the unfortunate death of Garrett Reid. Very sad.
With really nothing going on, we discuss why the Hell the NHL All-Star Game was played on a Wednesday night.
It's Playoff time with the Eagles winning and the Giants and Cowboys losing. Also, as a special treat, Danny Boy is back on the Aux Mic.
Danny Boy is in the house and the Eagles simply can't lose as they are coming off their fourth win in a row - a 23-7 win over Tony Romo, T.O. and the Dallas Cowboys.
It's the 2006 PSC Christmas party. Join Derek, Santa Claus and Emoney (with a little help from the Tophman) as they are simply amazed that the Eagles keep winning to close out the 2006 season.

We play 'Taps' when teams in this town are finished for the year - as you'll hear at the beginning of this episode. With the Birds are coming off a 31-13 loss to the Titans, there's really nothing to look forward to as the the holidays begin.
Derek, Dave and Emoney are a little concerned that the Eagles could overlook their upcoming November 19, 2006 game with the Tennessee Titans - and they were correct to be worried. The Birds lost to the dismal Titans, 31-13.
Join Derek, Dave and Emoney as the three diehard Philly Sports fans take on the teams they love so much.

Derek, Dave and Emoney provide their opinion, a little insight and a ton of heartfelt angst on the state of Philly Sports in October 2006.
While the Philies are going out in style, the Eagles would avenge last week's collapse with a win over the 49ers to give them the lead in the NFC East at 2–1.
Phillies are tied for the National League Wild Card and the Eagles lose to the Giants at home, 30-24. The game proceeded to overtime with the Eagles offensive woes continuing and the defense allowing the Giants to score a miraculous touchdown on 3rd a long from Manning to Burress. To add to the loss, the Eagles lost Jevon Kearse for the remainder of the season with a knee injury.
The Phillies continue to tease the three of us and the Eagles open the season on the road with a win against the Houston Texans.
Summer's over - time to reminiscence. Will the Phillies get in the playoffs in 2006? We all think so and we all were wrong as the Phillies finish 85-77 - 2nd in NL_East.
Watching meaningful Phillies games in late summer has us all excited. Also, Happy birthday Randy Wolf who finished the 2006 season with a 4–0 record, pitching only 55 innings.
E-Money is on vacation but the show must go on as the Phillies trade All-Star right fielder Bobby Abreu and starting pitcher Cory Lidle to the Yankees for four minor league prospects - C.J. Henry, 27-year-old left-handed reliever Matt Smith, catcher Jesus Sanchez and right-hander Carlos Monasterios. Uuuuuugh, what a mess.
Evan comes back to the show after dealing with PECO's storm recovery and we open the show talking about "Wildcats" - the Goldie Hawn movie that features a terrific Nipsey Russell as Ben Edwards. Also it's time to discuss the 2006 Philadelphia Eagles.
Brett Myers is back as Derek and Dave move out of the basement while Evan takes the night off.
Our 50th Show. We come off the Fourth of July break to discuss baseball with Philly's biggest Mets fan, @fiftyamp.
It's Independence Week. Let's have a blast while the Phillies continue to stink.
Please don't mind the Brett Myers jokes - it was a long time ago. Certainly he should have been suspended immediately.
While the Phillies were swept by the Mets over the weekend, Derek had a hell of a good time - except for the amount of Mets fans at CBP. Also, the Phillies are not a good product in 2006. F the Mets.
Derek and Evan are back from Dover to see some NASCAR and the trip was certainly memorable - only one Emergency Room visit. Also, it's time to pay Chase Utley.
The Phillies find themselves depending on Brett Myers to keep them in contention. While Pat " The Bat" Burrell (29 HR in 2006) is having a year, the bullpen continues to struggle.
Beardo joins the crew as we are all about the ups and downs that come with the early part of the 2006 Phillies season.
Derek and Evan come back from L.A. and open the show talking about the memorable Aaron Rowand nose-breaking catch in center for the Phillies at CBP.
Taps. It's only played when one of the Big Four teams in the City are finished for the year. The Flyers are done - finishing 22-48-12 (56 points), 5th in the Atlantic Division. However, losing again the first round of the playoffs.
It's nice to start the show taking about wins and the Gang of Three finally realize that Charlie Manual is here to stay.
It's crunch time for the Flyers as they head to the playoffs. Also, the Phillies are chugging along.
It's all bad in the basement. The first 30 seconds of the show has the Phillies swept to open the season, Flyers losing, Sixers eliminated... It goes on and on and on.
All Phillies - all the time. We a super-psyched for the 2006 Phillies season. Our win Predictions? Dave - 84, Emoney - 86, Derek - 88 - for a team that went 85-77, finishing 2nd in NL_East behind the 95-65 Mets.
NFL changes - Eagles losing LeCharles Bentley the the Browns and Drew Brees (now the NFL's All-Time Passing Leader) going to New Orleans. We also simply would like the Sixers season to just end.
Derek, Dave and Emoney discuss the Flyers trade deadline moves, Stephan A. Smith (a total hack even in 2006) - and the Top 10 Philly Sports athletes of all time.
The 2006 Phillies open their Grapefruit League Season with a win over the Yankees. Derek gets a haircut.
The Phillies are headed into the 2006 Season and the boys are a collective 'meh' - turns out the "mediocre" Phillies were just that - finishing 12 games behind the Mets in the NL East.
Not much to talk about in February 2006. The teams simply were not up to par. However, we do get Toph on the mic to discuss a little NASCAR and - much to his amusement - tells the story of Derek at the Bristol Night Race.
Emoney - like the Seattle Seahawks - ends the year with a loss. Also the Flyers are on everyone's mind.
The four-day Super Bowl XL party has begun as we preview Pittsburgh's 21-10 win over Seattle at Ford Field in Detroit.
The Super Bowl matchup is set and - without the Eagles to rant about - it's time to think spring and the Phillies.
The Eagles are officially done after going 0-6 in the NFC East. Derek, Dave and Evan also make predictions for the 2006 (2005 season) NFL Playoffs.
Our last show of the inaugural PSC season is dedicated to the miserable 2005 Philadelphia Eagles.

Vicente Padilla, Ryan Moats and Mike McMahon open the show - wow 2005 was a tough year to be a Philadelphia Sports fan.
The Eagles season is over after a 42-0 THUMPING at the hands of the Seattle Seahawks. It's difficult to talk about but the boys - with the help of a few cocktails - manage to do so.
We're coming off some Thanksgiving cheer and celebrate a sloppy Eagles win over Brett Farve and the Packers.
After a tragic 27-17 loss to the Giants - the boys are simply asking, Can the Eagles please win another game?
Eagles continue to sit T.O and lose to the Cowboys - we believe the season is over.
Also, Emoney officially joins the show as co-host. We had no choice but to let him - he arrived at the taping with puppy-dog eyes and his own mic.
A late start - some Septa issues and the Flyers roll. We also get into the Sixers a bit and close with the Eagles (T.O) and the NFL.
Finally, is it "We" or "Them?"
Will the Phillies sign Billy Wagner? Will they sign Dave as their next GM? It's time to talk free agency - and a little football.
This on starts out with an Eagles / Chiefs recap and a shoutout / introduction to a future addition to the podcast - Emoney.
Dave has a little something to say about John Madden and the state of Monday Night Football. Also, Tom Brady enters the discussion. Hell, this is 2005 and (most of us) agree that Tom Brady would be elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
The Phillies are at the top of the Wild Card standings - and we all know what happened with that.
Derek and Dave sit down to discuss Philly Sports on September 10, 2005. - The Phillies Phallout.
