Podcast with Will Cole, Mental Health Counselor at Crawford Clinics

In a world sending mixed messages about masculinity, parents are facing a new challenge: How do we raise boys who grow into strong, emotionally grounded, spiritually anchored men?

In this powerful episode, Will Cole, mental health counselor at Crawford Clinics specializing in healthy masculinity, breaks down the essential ingredients boys need to develop into men of courage, compassion, confidence, and character.

Drawing from biblical wisdom, clinical insight, and years of counseling boys, teens, and men, Will shares:

  • What boys need emotionally from mom and dad at each stage of development
  • How to nurture a boy’s sensitivity without weakening his masculine strength
  • The role of fathers (and father figures) in shaping identity, security, and calling
  • How to help boys process emotions in healthy ways instead of shutting down
  • Why discipline + connection creates the safest foundation for masculine maturity
  • How to build resilience, grit, and godly confidence in a generation facing anxiety and confusion
  • The spiritual formation boys need to hear God’s voice and walk in purpose

Will also covers the dangers of shame-based parenting, overprotection, and cultural stereotypes that wound a boy’s sense of self—and shows parents how to replace them with affirmation, boundaries, strength, and grace.

Whether you’re raising sons, mentoring young men, leading youth, or simply wanting to understand masculinity through a healthier lens, this episode is a hope-filled guide to helping boys become the men God designed them to be: steady, secure, wholehearted, and unshakeably rooted in identity and purpose.

In this revealing episode of Unlock U with Dr. Shannan Crawford, we dive deep into the often‐hidden dynamics of narcissistic grooming—from a psychoanalytic lens—and uncover how early relationship templates can leave us especially vulnerable. You’ll learn how to spot the red flags, understand the unconscious roots, and put practical safeguards in place.

What Is Narcissistic Grooming?* Definition: A gradual process by which someone with narcissistic traits gains your trust, isolates you, and then exploits your emotions and boundaries for their own validation and control. Often including intense amounts of verbal praise "Idealizing you", in which they give you signifiant amounts of attention, time, gifts, acts of service, and praise that, many people have described as, "intoxicating." Some have described that "it almost felt like he adored me so much and so suddenly that it was overwhelming. It was so flattering that I ignored all red flags because the life he described we would have was exhilarating! He sent huge flower arrangements and flashy expensive gifts to me at work so my coworkers could see it. He messaged me multiple times a day with the most amazing complements and telling me everything I always wanted to hear. He came into my life, so strong and so fast... he literally came out of nowhere and now, boom, this amazing man is telling me he wants to marry me and take me around the world and I would never need to work again because he wants to spoil me! I was so enraptured that I didn't notice that his current life didn't match up to the fantasies he was creating in my mind of how our life would be..." Another woman says, "He convinced me that he loved me so much that he couldn't be without me... I didn't notice that he was starting to isolate me... I had to give up friends and family who did not fully "support" our relationship. I was so overwhelmed by the intensity of his attention and praise, that I started to subtly build my life around him... eventually I lost my other relationships... By the time he discarded me, I was COMPLETELY alone." * Can you resonate? * Psychoanalytic Perspective:

+ Splitting & Idealization/Devaluation: Narcissists first “idealize” you as perfect, then “devalue” you once they feel threatened.
+ Projective Identification: They project their own unacceptable feelings onto you, making you feel responsible for their emotions.
+ Object Relations Roots: Early caregivers who were inconsistent or overly enmeshed can leave you craving approval and slow to see manipulation.

Why Some of Us Are More SusceptibleDrawing on the Restoring‑Self‑Cohesion (RSC) model, Dr. Crawford explains how unconscious templates from childhood shape our adult relationships:

  • Caretaker Role: You learned to put others’ emotional needs first to feel safe or worthy.
  • People‑Pleaser Template: Seeking external validation became your primary way to soothe childhood anxieties.
  • Rescuer Script: You believe “fixing” others proves your value—making you an easy target for someone who preys on empathy.
  • Unconscious Sabotage Loops: Old patterns pull you back into dynamics where your boundaries blur and your self‑worth hinges on pleasing someone else.

Practical Safeguards to Protect Yourself1. Strengthen Your Boundaries

* Practice saying “no” and notice your discomfort.
* Use “I” statements to express needs: “I feel… when you…”
  1. Build an Early‑Warning System

    • Keep a journal of interactions that feel off—look for patterns of praise turning into blame.
    • Share concerns with a trusted friend or therapist to get an outside perspective.
    • Cultivate Healthy “Mirror” Relationships

    • Surround yourself with people who reflect empathy, consistency, and genuine care.

    • Schedule regular check‑ins with your support circle.
    • Deepen Self‑Awareness with RSC Tools

    • Identify your primary relationship template and notice when you slip into old roles.

    • Use grounding rituals (breathwork, journaling, somatic check‑ins) to stay connected to your own needs.
    • Build Community

    • Be honest with your friends and family. Try not to sugar coat the relationship. A healthy relationship can withstand reality testing. When you're early on in a relationship, you're infatuated which means you're literally not thinking clearly. So build healthy relationships with those who can see clearly and have permission to speak into your life!

    • Seek Professional Partnership

    • Consider one‑on‑one RSC coaching to map unconscious blocks and restore internal alignment.

Guys, I cannot wait to catch up with you! This podcast feels like sitting down together for coffee and just chatting about life, dreams, and all the things happening with Crawford Clinics and my world. Let’s be real—life can feel like it’s full of waiting. Waiting for a relationship, a degree, a promotion, or even that next vacation. I get it because I’m a dreamer too. Like, binder-full-of-dreams kind of dreamer (and yes, it has tabs!).

But here’s the thing: dreaming is the easy part. The waiting? The pruning? The maturing? Oh man, that’s where the growth really happens. In this episode, I’m opening up about how those seasons of waiting can shape you—and how you can adopt a “growth mindset” that says, I can do that. It’s a mindset passed down from my family, starting with my grandpa, who faced so many obstacles but always believed in pushing past limitations.

I’ll also share a fun update about our brand-new Crawford Clinics location in Southlake, Texas! If you’re in the area, come to our Open House on February 1st from 2–4 PM. We’d love to meet you, show you around, and hear your ideas on how we can serve you better. Let’s dream big, push through the hard stuff, and live intentionally together. Love you, friends!

Hey friends! If you missed the last episode, I recommend checking it out first—it sets the stage for this one.

We’re diving into the sneaky lies shame plants in our lives—like "I’m too much" or "I’ll be rejected if people really see me." These beliefs often show up in perfectionism, people-pleasing, or even burnout. Take Andrew, for example (name changed). He seemed happy and successful, but beneath it all, unresolved shame and unmet needs were creating resentment, anxiety, and disconnection. Sound familiar?

Here’s the good news: you’re not stuck! By rejecting shame and embracing radical self-acceptance, you can realign your inner world and reconnect with your true self. When your spirit leads, creativity, peace, and purpose follow.

Let’s explore how to unearth the parts of us we’ve hidden, invite healing, and live with freedom. Curious? Watch now! 💡

Hey friends,

In this Unlock U episode, we’re diving into the foundation of who we are—our very first core belief. Life gets messy, doesn’t it? Between the ups and downs of parenting, work, mindset struggles, and just trying to keep it all together, it can feel like chaos. But when we step back and see the bigger picture—God’s story unfolding in and through us—suddenly, it all starts to make sense.

You’re not just a collection of thoughts, emotions, and to-do lists. You’re a spirit being, uniquely designed in God’s image. When you’re in alignment—body under soul, soul under spirit, and spirit under the Holy Spirit—you can experience peace, clarity, and freedom. But let’s be honest: misalignment? That feels like a pinched nerve messing with everything.

We’ll unpack how even old, sneaky beliefs planted when we were little can hold us back and how to realign with who God says you are. You’re made for awe and wonder, and it’s time to live fully in that truth!

If this speaks to your heart, don’t go it alone. At Crawford Clinics, we’re here to walk with you, helping you heal, grow, and live whole. Visit us at Crawford Clinics—we’d love to support you on your journey! 💛

Hear from the Marketing Director at Intuba, Chase Harman about how this incredible non-profit organization is impacting communities on a global scale!

More about Intuba: https://www.intuba.org/

Intuba means "access" in the Zulu language. We empower rural African communities by equipping, training, and supporting local men and women to be the solution to their own community's nutritional and economic needs. First, the communities need access to clean and sustainable water sources. Once the water is available and fitted with solar-powered pumps, the slow-drip irrigation system and raised bed farming techniques create better crop yields, bringing more food and the opportunity to sell crop surplus for profit while building a thriving community. This approach, partnered with education, enables lasting change, one village at a time.

Social media like Instagram, Tiktok, Facebook, and even LinkedIn have a seduction power that pulls our wandering minds in with ease. Platforms that have been curated specifically to spike dopamine have gripped generations into a zombie-like apporach to "life" (or a lack thereof). This week we have Shadi Awad share insights into the history of some silicon valley big-names, and how he took a significant break from social media as an experiment. The results are quite significant. We know it's not easy, but would you consider taking a social media break for an extended period of time just to see what would happen? Odds are you may get your life back to some degree. Maybe you'll encounter peace and a settling of your soul. Wouldn't you say that's worth the risk of NOT keeping up with the Kardashians for a few weeks?

Let us know if you do a media/tech pause and we'll share your results on our platforms!

Shadi Awad: Shadi is a Palestinian Christian born in Doha, Qatar, with family roots in Jerusalem and Bethlehem. His family immigrated to Toronto, Canada, in 1987, where Shadi spent a large portion of his growing-up years. Shadi moved to Dallas, Texas, in 2004 to complete his studies. He holds an MBA from Texas A&M Commerce. In 2007, he married his wife, Angela Awad. They are currently living in Cedar Hill, Texas, with their 5 beautiful children, Ephraim, Eliana, Olive, Nouri, and Charis.

Shadi Awad is also the CEO & Co-Founder of Technagy IT, an IT Management & Cybersecurity Company based out of Arlington, Texas. Technagy IT is focused on providing small businesses with strategic IT management & support designed to bring peace of mind around business continuity and external and internal cyber threats. Shadi has been in the technology space for more than 15 years. Two of Shadis passions are bringing life to the integration of faith and work and actively engaging in the blockchain industry and investing in cryptocurrency projects since 2017.

When asking "how do I start my health journey?", a myriad of answers flood our minds, feeds, and Google searches: fitness, nutrition, movement, liver support, supplements, tinctures, gurus, weight loss, heart health, and on, and on. Such an honest question is smacked with a freight train of information that can leave us dazed and confused. We don't want you to leave more confused than you showed up to this episode, so we've invited the brilliant Tosh James to set the record straight on "wellness" and how to approach it.

Ruminating, over thinking, over analyzing, and going in thought circles are all symptoms of something deeper. When we notice we are ruminating or in an over thinking thought pattern, we in the #unlockucommunity say that now it's time to get CURIOUS. What started this spiral? When have I felt this before? Recognize that what you're experiencing is 100% valid AND needs to be addressed with our frontal lobe thinking (as opposed to reactionary I-have-25-tabs-open-in-the-background-and-am-overloaded thinking).

It's no secret that relationships are important. They are the binding agent that sets us up for success in life and contribute to longevity, too! Often we want a "one size fits all" approach to relationships to apply across the board and make it all make sense in a neat step-by-step process. While there are amazing tools and processes out there, we understand that relationships are complex, unique, and come with their own histories, traumas, and perspectives.

This week we are leaning in to the most frequently asked questions, maybe some controversial hot topics, but all with the goal to provide avenues that guide us toward a healthy soul.

About Dr. Bill Senyard:

Dr. Bill is the President of Gospel App Ministries. He has been a pastor for over 25 years, the author of over 15 books, a popular conference speaker and the host of the Gospel Rant podcast. His passion is helping beat-up and frustrated Christians hear the music again. To that end, the Gospel App has created three on-line participative programs. The Forgiving Path is a 2-hour journey to help Christians actually forgive that deeply entrenched hurt and wound. Over 1000 people have been through the Path. Participants self-report a 20% reduction in their desire for revenge. The Dance is designed to help people deal with shame and depression. It takes about 2 hours. Most recently, we created Good Enough Parent for frustrated parents of teens and tweens who want to be more good enough parents. It is immersed in the Gospel but utilizes the latest research in neuroscience and Attachment Theory. Good Enough Parent is free for all who want to participate. Once registered, we will send you a 10-minute parent tip every day for 15 days.

Did you grow up learning and hearing that it's not good to cry? Or that crying implies weakness? We've come to the conclusion as a society that a natural and necessary response to a variety of triggers as simple as crying, is actually looked down upon. I want to invite you into the learning process of what it is to "attachment cry." Sometimes our crying can lean to the side of self pity, woe is me, and selfish ends. Attachment crying promotes a safe space to connect with someone else in vulnerability, thus providing intimacy, and an opportunity to move past the hurt of the current moment. We are humans. Humans cry. Let's do it right.

Facing grief, we tend to fall into one of two categories:

  1. Massive amounts of positivity which leads to suppressing, burying, and denying the pain inside (which creates triggers), or,

  2. We are so in tune with our selves and emotions that we over-think and end up in a state of analysis paralysis.

Either way, we can denote that pain left untouched or pain constantly sat in can leave us with bitterness, resentment, and hopelessness. I invite you into a safe space to go to those hard feelings. Face those memories, and allow yourself to FEEL. After having lost my own mother, I too am well acquainted with the stages of grief. You are NOT alone! You are loved, needed, wanted, and celebrated!

Let's shift our perspective to seeing our circumstance with the narrative that "somehow this is better" even when we don't understand.

Have you ever wondered why animals in nature never suffer from PTSD, even though they are being hunted, family members are being eaten, and food is scarce? Without getting too detailed, animals lack the part of the brain that suppresses trauma. They release or discharge trauma by experiencing it from start to finish, shake, and let it go.

Wouldn't it be freeing to be able to completely walk through our previous traumas, and leave feeling safe and victorious? We encourage you to listen to this episode in its entirety as the incredible Dr. Barbara Lowe, PhD LP BCC SEP, walks us through practical steps toward stability in our emotions, memories, and mind.

Facing our trauma is not easy. It's not fun. It's not something we look forward to when we plan our day. That said, I highly encourage you to start the process. How can we live a life unlocked if we are still in bondage to an experience or consistent low-grade neglect from our past? This episode sheds light on the foundational truths of our personalities, how we relate to ourself, and even the scientific application/explanation of what truly happens when we face trauma.

This isn't a moment to compare traumas saying "they had it worse than I", or "I'm permanently damaged because of what they did to me." Rather, it's an opportunity to recognize the systems that our mind set in place to protect us from ever getting hurt again, and uprooting it from our subconscious. Let's reframe our circumstance, reinforce the truth that yes, we are safe, and that there is hope for a bright future.

Would you cut down and criticize your closest friend? How about your spouse or your child? Would you verbally attack your boss? Most would say “absolutely NOT!” If we are so certain of how we should speak to others, why have we not done the same for ourselves? Often, the very enemy of our success is our own self deprecation. We treat beat ourselves up as a dictator saying: you’ll never amount to anything, you are terrible at fill in the blank, you should quit while you’re behind because you’ll never see success, and on, and on, and on….

I am here to tell you that there is hope. In this episode, walk with me through the recognition of where we stand in terms of being a notorious optimist or a constant victim. We have tools - and an amazing healer - at our disposal to shift our inner dictator to being an incredibly resilient coach!

I dare you to believe that you can do and be the best version of yourself.

Today we have an incredibly humble, faithful, and accountable guest sharing his experience on letting go of unrealistic expectations, and seeking after truth and what’s right - not necessarily what’s comfortable. Jeff Farris has extensive experience in the business world and has had countless encounters with the Lord’s faithfulness that have proven the reality that the Lord never leaves us nor forsakes us. With every new position, promotion, demotion, and change of scenery, Jeff takes us through the process of a career change and how to honor each ebb and flow.

Be encouraged by his story!

More about Jeff:

Jeff Farris, graduated from Howard Payne University with a BS degree in Medical Technology, and has focused his entire career on healthcare, starting with management positions in hospital laboratories and migrating to information systems across all areas of both inpatient and outpatient facilities. During the last fifteen years of Jeff's career at PDX, he served as the CEO of these companies, which grew to be the largest provider of software and services to the retail pharmacy space in the United States, with over ten thousand pharmacies in their network and more than 600 employees. The companies were sold to Change Healthcare in June of 2019. Jeff worked for Change Healthcare during the transition period until he took the position of Chairman of the Board for EHRData, a startup company focused on consolidating healthcare data using blockchain technology.

“Well if he won’t do the dishes, then I won’t,” “If she won’t talk to me then I won’t talk to her.” These are examples of what might be said in a reciprocal love where you only give as much as the other in the relationship. Don’t be discouraged! This is a very common occurrence and can be remedied if we learn to switch from reciprocal to covenantal love in relationships. Dr. Ripley, the Hughes chair of Christian integration and co-director of the Charis Institute at Regent University, takes us through the process of what a “hope focused” relationship looks like.

Let’s learn to love above and beyond in service of one another, get vulnerable, and defend each others’ vulnerabilities!

It’s safe to say that the majority of us have experienced various symptoms on a regular basis whether it be brain fog, fatigue, headaches, hormonal imbalances, inflammation, anxiety, the list goes on. But what if we could eliminate those symptoms through our food? Maybe it seems too good to be true - we can assure you it’s not! This week, we are in the second installment of restoring joy in the kitchen with my amazing and brilliant friend Rebecca “Bec” Megan. Bec breaks down what happens in our body when we begin to nourish it with specific foods, spices, and recipes. Nutrition is a journey, so don’t expect a quick fix. Recognize the value in nourishing our bodies well and own the daily steps to get there!

As we’ve shared before, Bec is a health educator, cook, and is passionate about educating people. Her hope is to transform food culture in homes around the globe through education about the body and how food affects it. Bec wants people to love their kitchen. One of her favorite sayings is, “the body is designed for life and not disease.”

Have you already jumped full force into that new routine with your New Year resolutions? If so, we want to pose a different strategy than you might be used to when it comes to going after your resolutions. A cycle often occurs where we overindulge during the holidays and then hyper restrict and control once the new year rolls around. While this may pay off on some scale, the sustainability of it is abysmal. We challenge you to think deeper into understanding the subconscious lies you believe are true, honoring every part of you, and encountering a love like no other.

The point of a resolution isn’t to punish your body, so why not embrace a new strategy to really enjoy doing good things and setting goals?! Let’s start 2022 on a good note - loving every part of us, and celebrating with good nourishment, movement, and habits.

Merry-happy-post-Christmas-day! We are STILL celebrating Christmas even after the 25th because, let’s be real, Jesus’ birthday is worth celebrating all month long. You may be feeling like you had an INCREDIBLE Christmas and are completely satisfied with the experience! However, a good portion of us may feel a little disappointed, disillusioned, and sad about our unmet expectations. Know this: you are not alone.

Human nature shows us that we do not like to live in the present moment and instead get fixated on “what could be.” We trade contentment for a fantasy, and when the moment comes for fulfillment, reality seems to always fall short of what we were dreaming of. But there is hope! Instead of focusing on our own expectations, why not shift our focus to how we can serve others? Let’s be the ones to truly see people and as a result, we find satisfaction in the present moment!

We love you guys and hope you continue to have a very happy and merry Christmas (month)!

According to Buddy the Elf, “the best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear.” While that may be true for some, a little bit more practical way to spread Christmas cheer is to simply show others that they are seen, known, and loved. We pass by countless people on a semi - if not - regular basis and everyone is dealing with their own inner struggles, family crisis, or grief and loss. We are in mid-December and it’s game-on for spreading Christmas cheer! Let a coworker know that you appreciate them, share with your friend that their courage through a difficult season inspired you. In whatever way you choose, choose to spread life, light, and Christmas cheer.

I love you guys and hope you have a magical and joy-filled Christmas season!

A pair of Hopalong boots and a pistol that shoots is the wish of Barney and Ben. Dolls that’ll talk and will go for a walk is the hope of Janice and Jen, and mom and dad can hardly wait for school to start again… The list goes on and on, but as the season begins to look a lot like Christmas once more, it brings apprehension of gift giving. Stress of getting the right gift, staying on budget, and not forgetting anyone on the list can put a damper on what many deem “the most wonderful time of the year.”

My sweet and amazing friend Jacky has the incredible “gift” of gift giving. Today she and I go through practical ways to be a cheerful giver, plan ahead, and be mindful of our motive for giving! Jacky works in aviation and is passionate about following Christ. She believes God has uniquely created us with exciting divine destinies that await us, if we choose to accept the mission. She considers being generous as one of the great opportunities we have to further His Kingdom on this side of eternity!

Let’s find joy in investing in others with simple, profound, and meaningful gifts this season. After all, we all hope to be seen, known, and loved, and what better way to do it than by giving cheerfully, and creatively?!

As a wife, mother, registered nurse, and enthusiastic believer who loves Jesus, the bible, and his people, Vanessa shares that she would have loved to know about the spirit of rejection and inner vows. Vanessa is passionate about leading people to walk in their Kingdom calling and purposes, seek out their freedom and authority, and flourish into deeper intimacy with Christ and his word.

Whether this is a familiar concept or new vocabulary, Vanessa and I break down the life long practice of learning to be healed and whole. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to see that we struggle, have triggers, and have been hurt deeply for various reasons. Let’s latch onto repentance, invite God into those dark and painful places, and break the vows - sometimes unconsciously held - and fully trust God regardless of our current scenario!

More about Vanessa!

Self, success, fame, money, pleasure, peace. We all have a god. What are you worshipping?

This week Jasmine Tate, worship leader, songwriter, and musician tells her story of going from laying down idols and the fear of man to learning what pleases the Lord. She shares how everything changes when we worship in His presence. There is a grace, and supernatural empowerment, to say yes, allowing the Lord to be first in our hearts. This should be our obsession—staying in His presence always! Chains are broken. Suddenly, fear, depression, anxiety, and the cares of this world melt away. Everything we need is found in Him.

Join us as we discuss the power of surrender and what happens when we believe God is good. We don’t have to understand, even when we are led down a surprising, scary path that does not fit our goals, talents, or aspirations. He knows what truly satisfies our hearts. God synergistically weaves our story to complete the vision He placed within us. We can trust Him, knowing His character and the kindness of His heart. Filled with authenticity and humility, Jasmine’s story clearly shows that it’s always worth it to give our YES to the Lord!

Today we dig deeper to reveal common issues beneath addiction and why we end up using drugs, sex, alcohol, food, even work, to self-medicate what remains unresolved in the unconscious mind. Avoidance and control are common strategies to stop addiction and yet, by not resolving the unconscious dynamics, we are left whack-a-moling symptoms the rest of our lives which can get really frustrating and exhausting. Satchel Stillwell shares his experience of his relationship with drugs to avoid the inner realities he realized he was trying to avoid. He had to recognize that each time he went to drugs, was to alleviate underlying unresolved emotions. This is an excellent discussion on how we can unlock the grip of addiction and encounter the best version of ourselves.

There is no shame or condemnation if you or a loved one have experienced addiction. You are not alone, you can succeed, and you are worth the investment!

Struck with the reality that addiction is present within our own families is a heavy blow. We don’t have to remain victims to this reality however. I’ve invited Satchel Stillwell - experienced counselor, addiction recovery specialist, and adjunct professor at TKU - to share his personal story of how addiction ruled his life. It was by a tremendous act of grace and drawing a boundary that led Stillwell to surrender what his flesh sought for so long, and step into recovery and healing. Maintaining relational equity AND setting healthy boundaries for those struggling with this disease are imperative to find success with a family member struggling with addiction.

There is no shame or condemnation if you or a loved one have experienced addiction. We are here to support, encourage, and give you tools to unlock the you that God created you to be!

Does money seem to complicate your life? Whether you have an abundance or scarcity, money takes the role of “pain point” in many of our discussions, marriages, and families.

We want to break that cycle and replace “pain point” with “opportunity for generosity.” I’ve invited the amazing and driven Eric Dunavant to share his experience and wisdom on what our top asset truly is - family. In this episode, Dunavant drives home the truth that our control of money is finite, that transformation happens through relationships (it’s not purely transactional), and what we do echoes in eternity. It’s time to unlock generosity and find JOY in God’s economy!

Anxiety Sucks! Many of us have struggled with it for years and we’ve tried to control it, analyze it, avoid it and stuff it down, getting temporary relief, only to find it resurfacing at the most inconvenient times. Life doesn’t stop for our panic attacks or provide a break when we’re feeling overwhelmed. Life does not have to stay this way. The Unlock U channel is dedicated to helping you start to bring unconscious dynamics into light. There is often more than one unconscious source to our chronic anxiety that, once resolved, restores peace to our soul.

While there are countless roots to anxiety and each person’s experience with anxiety is unique, my hope is to offer a relatable illustration of anxiety. As you listen to a common example of a (de-identified) real person struggling with anxiety, to show you how you might use the Psychodynamic Triangle to find the unconscious sources of anxiety. Many of us think we are just anxious people and accept it as a personality quirk. What if some of our chronic anxiety is actually a disavowed part of your soul that has been containing the pain and insecurity that you didn’t know how to process at the time. My prayer is for the Psychodynamic Triangle to serve as a practical tool you can use when you’re struggling to “get over” persistent emotions. Here at the Unlock U channel, we are rooting for you to prosper even as your soul prospers!
