Bryan Fischer here with today’s Life and Liberty Minute. Hoda Muthana is the Muslima who left America to go to Syria to fight for ISIS. Two things are important here. Number one, she is not and never has been a citizen of the United States. When she was born, her parents were the citizens of another country. But you cannot become a citizen of the U.S. by birth unless your parents were citizens of the U.S. and thus “subject to the jurisdiction” of the United States. If her parents were ‘t subject to the jurisdiction of the United States, then neither was she. Secondly, if she is admitted, the first thing that should happen to her is to be tried for treason for levying war against the U.S. and give aid and comfort to our enemies. Then she should be executed. She might want to think about that before insisting on coming back.
