An inside look into the raw and uncut, truthful conversations that women and men have on subjects we text and DM about pertaining to life, sex, and success with a self-improvement spin on it all.
Keith Manley got married on Season 9 of Lifetime's Married At First Sight. The reason his story caught so much attention is that he married a virgin on the show. Many people, including myself, became so intrigued with Keith and how he handled being in the situation he found himself in.
Our topic, sex before marriage, is an interesting one.

My talk with Sammie was not as I thought it would be. The singer/songwriter, who has been in the industry for over 20 years of his life, has evolved into a grown man who is tapped into his spirituality, his worth, and knows exactly what he wants from life.
We sit down for a chat to discuss a few things that surprised me. Listen now!
There are several definitions on what thirst trapping is. Here's the most recent I found:
"Thirst Trap- A sexy photograph or flirty message posted on social media for the intent of causing others to publicly profess their attraction. This is done not to actually respond or satisfy any of this attraction, but to feed the posters ego or need for attention, at the expense of the time, reputation and sexual frustration of those who view the image or reply."
I've evolved from what I used to believe, and now that I'm a little older, I have varying opinions on what #thirsttrapping means.

I've followed Chriss Zoe and her sister Ciera for a while on social media. They both have clothing companies that I'm a fan and a customer of.
The more I saw what Chriss was about, the more I took a liking to her as a person. Her energy, positivity, empowerment towards other women is infectious. She also has an interesting story that I can identify with. She started her company with $200 and has turned it into a successful company and brand.
After hearing her story, you can also follow Chriss here on Instagram. You'll likely also become a fan of her clothing brand, Shop Chriss Zoe.
Brandy talks new single, "Baby Mama" featuring Chance the Rapper, possible book writing in the future, B7 album and more. Ironically, six years ago, (also in May), Brandy and I sat down for our first interview at her home. She graciously invited me in after seeing the interview I had done with her father, Willie Norwood.
That interview (linked below), was such a huge success that Brandy fans worldwide had been asking for another interview with us two. Well, here we are. Great energy, great conversation, and great plans for the songstress.
Stayed tuned for B7 and make sure to stream the new single "Baby Mama" feat. Chance the Rapper.

For women, it's hard locating a Gynecologist that you can speak freely and openly with. That's why it's an extra huge blessing to have one of my best friends join me on this episode. We've been friends since puberty at the ages of 12-13 years old.
She enlightens us on the positive and negative effects of vaginal detoxing, how to maintain optimal vaginal health, and advice to mothers of young girls going through puberty.
Not only is Dr. Kendra a Gynecologist, but she's also the wife to Dr. Hobart and a mother of one of the cutest little humans you'll ever meet. You can catch her on Season 2 of Married to Medicine LA on May 3, 2020, at 9 PM on Bravo.

It's time to hear from the ladies on the subject of asking men for money! Men, (especially successful men), have spoken about this topic a lot! Tory Lanez said in an interview with Madamenoire that "Women shouldn't ask men for things they can't afford themselves". Other men have stated that women should wait for men to offer financial assistance, but the question is, what if they take too long to offer?
My friends Ana, Ameneh, Jamie, and Bonita have joined me in today's episode to break it down from their point of view! Make sure to follow Texts, Sex & Check on Instagram @TSC_podcast and @RobinAyers.

Will we ever get back to the old days of "Natural Beauty" or will we live with the new standard of beauty forever? Remember in the 90's we had Aaliyah, Halle Berry, and Robin Givens? All these women were not very enhanced, confident, and were the standard of beauty.
With all of the social media/media standards we have in this day and age, we've lost the meaning of what natural beauty is and we still need to teach the younger generation of girls and young ladies what true beauty is.
