This is not the first time I've awoken to this beautiful hymn resonating in my spirit. It’s apparent that the Holy Spirit gently but encouragingly reminds us Who the Anchor of our lives is. It also blesses me to know that these anointed hymns of old are not forgotten but wonderfully archived somewhere in glory. They resurface at intermittent times as we voyage through the turbulent sea of life. They prompt us to keep pressing on because once we’ve made it to that blissful shore and behold The Saviour’s face, we’ll look in retrospect and gladly say ‘the journey was worth it’. Amen.
