Enzo, Austin, and Matt breakdown the games from the tournament and preview Kent State's matchup against Indiana and how far they will go in the big dance. Been a while since we did a show but glad to one before the show. We had our good friend and Eagles super fan Brandon Lewis come on the show and previewed Super Bowl 57 along with talking about LeBron becoming the NBA all-time scoring leader. We also got into some Waste Management Open and about how things have been with me the past month.
Who would have thought that the Cleveland Guardians would make the playoffs, not to many people including our host Enzo (who said he would boycott unless the owners spend). We go into what made this season so special and what to expect in the playoffs from the. The Browns are 2-1 after beating the Steelers on Thursday night.
Well, the Browns pulled a Browns on Sunday blowing the lead to the Jets with a 1:30 seconds left in the game. Our Browns insider Mason Lawlor joins to us to give his analysis on the game. We recap the rest of Week 2 games and make our picks for Week 3. Enough football let's talk Guardians baseball as they push for the MLB postseason.

We had a pleasure of having Hunter Auletta us joining on this episode of Pass The Mic. The day finally came when the Cleveland Browns traded QB Baker Mayfield, sending him to the Panthers. USC and UCLA are joining the Big 10 in 2024 making them super conference along with the SEC and Big 12. We went into detail and how will this effect the group of 5 programs when they no longer have to play the power 5 schools. Wrapping up the show with Guardians baseball and drunkie of the week.
What an ending it was to the U.S Open, Matthew Fitzpatrick winning it all and Willey Z and Scottie Schefter so close to winning it. The Cleveland Guardians won their past 6 series and are a game behind first place. A rumor that the Browns are looking to build a new stadium in the next 10 years but nothing is going to get started until the politics is figured out. The Golden State Warriors have won their 4th NBA Championship in 8 years and the Colorado Avalanch has a 2-0 over Tampa Bay Lightning in the Stanley Cup.
The weather is heating up in Cleveland and so are things in the PGA tour vs LIV tour and with the Guardians play. With the U.S Open coming up this weekend, PGA and LIV golf players will being going up against which is causing controversy in golf. We preview this weekend tournament and put in our picks for the Ice Cream bet. The Browns Deshaun Watson situation is just a big ole mess and still rumors on if Baker is being traded soon. The better operating team the Guardians have been on a hot streak winning there last 3 series. The Warriors took a 3-2 lead over the Celtics in the Finals, is it possible for them to finish in 6 or will we have a game 7 on Sunday? Recap of the PGA championship from last weekend, Browns resign Jadeveon Clowney and extended David Najko contract, previewing the NBA Finals between the Warriors and Celtics, the Guardaians have been playing some good and some bad baseball.
Two of the best words in sports Game 7 and boy there were a lot in the NHL and NBA over the weekend. We had our NHL expert Gabe Collura join us to give a good understanding of what went on in the NHL first round of the playoffs. We then moved to the NBA playoffs where there two game 7s that ended with the Bucks and the Suns (who were in the Finals last year) to lose in those games to the Celtics and Mavericks. Had some time to talk Guardians and then doing the Browns schedule game. We also got to some college football since it has been announced that Ohio State vs Norte Dame week 1 will be primetime with college game day down there. We finished off with the PGA Championship preview and Enzo's Ice Cream bet.

We recap everything that happened in the Masters along with previewing the Cavs play in tournament and how they will advance to the NBA Playoffs. Also the Cleveland Guardians won there first game of the season.

March Madness has been Madness, but now the Final Four is here. Enzo and Michael preview the games between Kansas vs Villanova and Duke vs North Carolina. This past week rumor has been spreading that Tiger Woods might be playing in the Masters this years after a plane was tracked from Jupiter FL to Augusta GA and photos and videos of him at the course. The Cavs are making a push for the playoffs but injuries have been hurting them recently and looks like they will be a play in team. Finshing off the show with drunkie of the week where we have some good ones.
Last week was filed with Madness and just in the NCAA tournament but with the Browns and NFL free agency. The whole story was about which team was going to get Texans QB, DeShaun Watson. Somehow the Browns pulled off the trade on Friday to get him and it has received mixed reviews. Along with that the other big news that happened in the first week of free agency. We then get into the main Madness which is the NCAA tournament better known as March Madness. Games coming to the wire and of course the up sets and cinderella stories.
Welcome to March folks and that means it's time for the Madness. Not quite yet since conference championship tournaments take place especially with the best one of them all the MAC tournament at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse. What the odds Kent State vs Miami University (OH) face off against each other in the tournament. Enzo and Michael preview that game plus they will be at the game tomorrow. We also give out our announcement for the 2022 March Madness bracket challenge. The NFL was crazy the past 2 days with Aaron Rodgers staying in Green Bay, Russel Wilson being traded to Denver, and also Carson Wentz being traded to Washington. The MLB Lockout has been going on for 4 months and Enzo decide to boycott the 2022 season. Looking ahead to the Cavaliers as they have a tough schedule coming up getting near playoff time.

We were happy to have on our good friend Austin Arnold from Let's Get it Straight join us. Austin is a big Washington Football fan and he talk about the new name (The Washington Commanders) and the new uniforms. Then we got into the Brian Flores suing the NFL for racial hiring practices and getting paid to lose games. Then former Browns head coach Hue Jackson saying that it happened to him in Cleveland. We finished off with Cavs basketball where Darius Garland is an NBA All-Star and the worst call in NBA history happened against the Cavs on Friday.
Super Bowl 56 is all set and the matchup is between the Rams and the Bengals (who would have thought that). We have the recap for you on the AFC and NFC championship games, then give out our predictions for Super Bowl 56. Over the weekend the GOAT Tom Brady was reported to be retiring from football but later people close said he hasn't made a decision on it yet will take a deeper dive into that. The Cavaliers able to bounce back against New Orleans after losing to Detriot on Sunday but the coverage of the Cavs by the local has not been talked about enough (other than on Pass The Mic). Finishing off with drunkie of the week and also letting everyone know that no episode next week, but there will be one after the Super Bowl.

A very important message sent out by Pass the Mic's Enzo Orlando along with his special guest Dante Centofanti on the Black Lives Matter Movement that has been going on for the past 2 weeks. Both of them gave good thoughts on the Black Lives Matter and how that we all need to change as a country. This is an important matter that is taking and should not stop after a few weeks, we need to keep this movement going until African Americans in this country have equal rights. RIP George Floyd RIP Breonna Taylor.
Enzo and Sean had a brief episode on the goodness that the NBA will return on July 31, but their sport MLB is still having troubles when the season will start back.
The Last Dance documentary on Michael Jordan and the 90's Chicago Bulls has concluded. Enzo and Michael go into detail on what happened in the final two episodes. From the flue game and to game 6 of 1998 Finals is what was mainly covered in these last two episodes. At the end of the show there is a important announcement that you need to listen to.
Down to the final four episodes of the Last Dance as epsidoe 7 and 8 aired on Sunday night. Dante Centofanti a basketball expert from TV2 came on and gave his opinion on happened in the last 2 episodes. Then went into how the whole series of the Last Dance will end on this upcoming Sunday. Since sports have been on pause for a month now, ESPN has finally given us something to talk about with The Last Dance (46:01) documentary just being released, the story of the Michael Jordan Chicago Bulls era. Enzo and Michael recap what happens in the first two episodes that have been released as we will be doing this after each of the two episodes that are realized on Sunday night. After a big weekend in sports Enzo and Sean recap what when that weekend. Starting out with Kent State sports after coming off a double OT loss to Buffalo, the men's basketball team bounce back on Tuesday and beat Miami while the women's team beat Akron on Thursday and are the 3rd best team in the MAC. Also the big announcement of the 2020 football season schedule for Kent State. We then head to MLB and the updates from Indians spring training and the rest of the MLB. After John Beilein left the Cavs, the team has won 3 out of their last 4 games. We get into the big part of our show with the Bachelor segment (1:11:28). We started out talking about an article written by Gabb Goudy about comparing Bachelor contestents to NFL quarterbacks. Then we get into the fantasy suite episode where things started to heat up. At the end of our show we of course did drunkie of the week where these drunkies were very interesting. choices.
To start out our show today, we began with the big news of Myles Garret being reinstated to the NFL and Baker Mayfield making some strange headlines. Then we get into the new MLB rule changes for the 2020 season along with the NBA all-star weekend. Following this Sean goes on a rant on the Houston Astros cheating scandal (Enzo saved his for the end of the show). The story of the day for our show was the propose change MLB made to the postseason. Enzo then went on to give his bachelor recap from the latest episode (1:16:34). Ending our show with drunkie of the week and wacky sports.
First show of the spring semester on Black Squirrel and boy there was a lot to talk about. Beginning with the stories going on Cleveland sports with the Browns hiring Andrew Barry as the new GM and Joe Woods as the defensive coordinator. Then the Cavs went on to trade for Pistons C Andre Drummond. Many trades happen in baseball on Tuesday, along with reaping Super Bowl 54 and the Pass the Mic crew giving a shot at the XFL. Our host Enzo went on to end the NBA GOAT debate (35:30) which has been going on for a long time. Then we get into the NBA trade deadline (57:00) to break down all of the big trades. Something new at Pass the Mic is that we are taking about the Bachelor recapping what has gone on in the past few episodes and predicting what will happen next (1:11:24). Of course at the end of our show we have drunkie of the week and Sean had a wacky sports.
NBA legend Kobe Bryant tragically passed on away on Sunday in a helicopter crash that involved him, his daughter Gianna along with 7 others on broad. Pass the Mic took sometime to remember Kobe Bryant as a NBA player and as a person. Black Squirrel Radio Sports Director Dylan Bowers joined us and gave his thoughts on what Kobe meant to him.
Pass the Mic Sports had a show on Janaury 24, 2019. Enzo and Sean along with Quentin Griffin gave their predictions on what will happen in Super Bowl LIV between the Chiefs and 49ers. Then we got into the sign sign stealing scandal with the Houston Astros that has shocked the baseball world. A good friend of Sean, Cam Sico came on our show and talked about the big Conor McGregor fight and LSU winning the national championship being a huge party in Athens Ohio because that is where Joe Burrow is from. At the end of the show the Pass the Mic crew gives us a preview of what is going to happen this semester.

Friday's radio show of Pass the Mic was pretty much taken up with the end of the Thursday night football game between the Browns and the Steelers. Lots have been going in the world of baseball with the Indians having the best record in June, the Rays are going to be a two-city team next year in Tampa and Montreal, and the first MLB game was played in Europe in the Londen Series between the Yankees and Red Sox. Enzo and Michael give a break down of the All-Star game events happening in Cleveland. They also decided to do an ice cream bet on the Home Run Derby.
Enzo wins his 3rd ice cream bet but does not receive any ice cream because he made another bet and saying that Phil Mickelson would be in the top 5. We recorded this episode on June 19, 2019, and about 3 years ago the Cleveland Cavaliers ended the championship drought and the Cavs became the first team to come back from a 3-1 deficit. Enzo and Michael look back on that day and then go on to congratulate new champions winning their first title the St. Louis Blues and Toronto Raptors. Two big trades went down on Saturday, Anthony Davis to the Lakers in the NBA and Edwin Encarnacion to the Yankees in MLB. Since the NBA draft is tomorrow Enzo gives his opinion on who the Cavs should draft.
Enzo and Michael played at a golf outing today at Pine Hills and there will be a Youtube video out on the outing. 1 year of doing Ice Cream bets and Enzo and Michael did make their picks. The Tribe has been playing great in the last 2 series beating the Twins and Yankees 2-3. The Stanley Cup and NBA Finals are coming to end but these championships are not done yet. The Cleveland Indians currently have a record of 26-27 and are 10 games out of first place. Enzo and Michael discuss the disappointment they have with the franchise and ownership. Brooks Kopeka wins the PGA championship for the second time in a row and that means that Michael wins the ice cream bet. So Pass the Mic will recap what happened at the PGA Championship. Pass the Mic podcast are back for summer 2019. This was the first episode that Enzo and Michael did in the studio this year. Enzo recently had an interaction with a drunkie that he called out in February and Michael's last drunkie the Los Angeles Lakers have not to figure out who is running the team. 3rd Ice bet of the year second PGA bet with the PGA championship starting up next week with Enzo and Michael make their picks. Also, we found out the news on the PGA tournament that John Daly is allowed to have a golf cart during the tournament. Odell Beckham jr recently asked for help on his golf swing, so Michael analysis his swing and gave him so advice. With Kevin Durant out for a while, the NBA playoffs looked exciting for a little bit until the Warriors advanced to their 5th straight Western Conference finals. Now they will either play Portland or Denver and the winner of Toronto vs Philly will go up against Milwaukee. Can you believe it! Pass the Mic has been around for one year. So what we decided to do was to take a look at all of our episodes and recap them. We have audio of a-couple of our shows and boy these bring back memories. With doing that, a tradition unlike any other takes place the Masters and also Pass the Mic.
