Abuse, addiction, and assorted trouble can send one searching for answers and explanations to make sense of it all. Our desire for answers will never be satisfied in trying to make sense of it all; nor can we rely upon a step-by-step process to fix our brokenness. The answer to our brokenness is the story of God’s redemption. Exodus is the real life, gritty, and raw story of God redeeming His people from slavery in Egypt. It is this story that leads us to Jesus who will free us from the wounds we carry and the idols we worship.
