We also cover aspects of entrepreneurship, travel and perspective and how it is all relevant in growing as a leader. We are also using this episode within our Switched On platform but we wanted to also share it on Upside as we think it's important for everyone to reinforce the meaning of how we can develop leadership within ourselves as well as the community.Hope you enjoy :)
Another episode used from our other Podcast called Switched On as we want to share this episode with as many listeners as possible!

Trust and Honesty are the basic building blocks for respect, consideration and vulnerability with another individual and are crucial in all relationships.
It is for this reason that Brayden and I thought it would be a good to discuss these qualities as they have the ability to enhance one's quality of life if applied in the right way and not taken advantage of.
We also cover how trust can be built, lost as well as regained in time.
I hope you enjoy!
See ya in the next one :)

Burnout, another big topic which is typically misunderstood in our world today. It is a devastating state of complete mental and physical exhaustion which one of our members at the Co, Barry, has known all to well in the past and is now living a life of balance and gratitude.
In this episode we were able to gain a lot of great insight from Barry's experience in which I hope we can all take away the importance of stress management, self-care and recovery.
We also cover the signs and symptoms of burnout alongside the 5 main stages that are involved.
I hope you get as much out of the episode as I did and we'll see you in the next one!
Cheers :)
Considering we spend so much of our time at work, which for some can be very stressful, it is important to address wellness in the workplace because when people are stressed, exhausted and feel that they aren’t listened to, it is detrimental to their health, happiness and performance in both at work and outside work.
Joining me in this episode is Jules as well as a new face by the name of Carla Thomas, who is our new Wellness Coordinator at Happiness Co. She was the one keen to get this episode up and running and is here to offer a great holistic perspective and genuine common-sense response into how personal health directly effects your workplace health and performance. We go through what happened, if Dad had his time again, the importance of CPR & defibrillators and the small changes we can all make to minimise the chance of such events happening to us as well as our loved ones.
I hope you enjoy! Cheers :)
We all experience setbacks and failures in life and instead of looking at what these experiences can teach us, most of the time we feel the need to instead criticize and condemn ourselves which is ultimately damaging to our self-esteem.
In this episode we talk about how you can fail the right way and fail forward instead of letting failure set you back more than it should. We also talk about a couple strategies and tips that you can try and use when you don't get your desired outcome.
I hope you enjoy!
Cheers!
For a term that gets thrown around a lot in different contexts like personal life, sports and business, confidence seems to just occur in some people more than others right? Well that isn't the case as confidence is a dynamic trait that comes and goes depending on the individuals experience on what it is they are looking to do or say.
By getting a better idea of what confidence actually is and picking ways to develop your confidence, you'll see gradual changes in your environment as you'll be able improve how you show up to yourself as well as those that you surround yourself with.
We have finally been able to do the Q&A episode and I think it's the most value packed episode we have released so far!

53:20 - Q9: What worries you about the future and how do you deal with that concern?
We couldn't answer all the questions that were sent in but these Q&A kind of episodes are something we'll be looking to do every now and then so we can continue giving our audience a voice, whilst building our connection with all you listeners out there.
So, if you at any time come up with a question that you think would be good for us to talk about PLEASE send it in so we can talk about in the next one and give you a shout-out!
Cheers guys, see ya in the next one :)
We were not able to do the Q&A episode that we had hoped to be our next episode due to Julian getting the spicy flu, so in the meantime Brayden and I thought we'd do an episode on how to handle the inevitable disappointments of life in more healthy and constructive ways that can leave us with a deeper understanding about ourselves, whilst developing resilience and acceptance of the world around us.
We hope you enjoy and we'll catch you in the next one which is hopefully the Q&A episode (so please keep sending in your questions!)
I just wanted to say a quick thank you to everyone who has listened to the podcast so far! We've received some really kind reviews and we only hope to keep on improving to provide you with even better content.
We're also hoping to do a Q&A episode soon so if you have any burning questions please go to our Instagram (@happiness__co) and ask us anything related to wellbeing, personal questions or even topics you'd like to hear us talk about!
Even if your question doesn't come up in this episode, I'm sure we'll do another Q&A episode soon enough where we use the questions that didn't get answered the first time around.
Cheers!
Brayden and I are strong believers in seeking discomfort as a way of personal growth and we think that it is so important if you are looking to learn more about yourself and experience what you're truly capable of.

I hope you enjoy!
Seeya in the next one :)
