2 Thessalonians 1:5-10, The Thessalonian affliction is not reason for worry, Paul gives reasons for comfort.
Passage: 2 Thessalonians Description: Because the Lord Jesus is certainly coming again, His church must stand steadfast till the final bell — encouraged in her suffering, enlightened about her future, and exhorted in her daily walk.
Passage: 1 Thess 28:5-23-24 Description: The Christian life is a race run on rocky ground. Yes, we stumble. We trip over the same roots that caught us last month. We run with a limp, and some days we crawl on this crushing narrow road. If finishing this race depended on the steadiness of our own feet, not one of us would cross the line. But God is immovable and never stumbles. He never trips, never tires, never loses His grip, never walks away from a work He's begun. We can fully rely on His shatterproof ability and tireless faithfulness to work out our soul-cleansing sanctification.
Passage: 1 Thess 5:22 Description: In a world ready for another flood type wipeout event, the church has fallen into a dangerous 'acceptance' of evil instead of hatred of evil.

Passage: 1 Thess 5:18 and Psalm 100 Because God has done so much for us, we must stop being so ungrateful and be thankful to the Lord with worship for all He does in preparing us for eternity.
Passage: Acts 1:6-11 For the power of the Gospel to have it's full transforming effect in our lives. We must know that Jesus not only became man, died, rose again. But also that He didn't remain on earth out of heaven, but He went back to God as our ascended Saviour. If we understand the importance of this it will make us respond to it's power, not simply act the form.
Passage: 1 Thess 5:17 Christ is returning and we must be ready. To live ready for Christ we have some responsibilities toward God we should, living a life of prayer not living a life filled with actions is how we live ready.
As and when temptation arises against us, we must remember that the way Jesus dealt with His temptation, has left us a distinct, habitual pattern of behavior and a routine that we must practice to accomplish our victory against temptation Matthew 4: v1-11
Passage: 1 Thess 5:16-22 Description: Biblical Joy in God is not a feeling produced by favorable circumstances, it is a deliberate, faith-driven response to the unchanging reality of Who God is. What He has don in Christ, and what he promises for eternity, sustained by the Holy Spirit and deepened, not destroyed by suffering.
Passage: Selected passages Description: Baptism is a God-ordained, Christ-honoring public declaration of a believer's union with Jesus Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection to a new life.
Passage: 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 Description: The biblical gospel is the announcement of four great realities — the character of God, the sinfulness of man, the saving work of Jesus Christ, and the required response of faith and repentance. Get these four truths right, and you have the gospel. Neglect any one of them, and you have something less than the gospel, which is to say, no saving gospel at all.

As history continues to unfold the eternally planned purposes of God, one event looms large on the horizon: The Day of the Lord. The Thessalonians were worried that they missed it. Therefore Paul answers them providing certainty that they didn't.

The 'Eternal State' refers to the final, unending condition of things after God's plan of the ages is complete.

Ephesians 5-11- And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them.--This is the first message where we will be looking at the world through God's Word.-The world is changing. In a world where looting, theft and corruption is part of everyday life, it is important to look to Scripture for guidance. We need to have a Biblical work ethic.

Things change all the time. There are spiritual things that never change. These things makes it possible for us to give thanks in everything.
God heard Israel - He hears us.-He remembered His covenant with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob - He remembers Christ.-He saw Israel - He sees us.-He knew Israel - He knows us.
When Paul stared death in the eye, it was so that he could trust God more. We learn that God is able to deliver in the past, present and future, with our ultimate deliverance in the resurrection. Never under estimate prayer, for it is God's means of allowing us to work with Him in fulfilling His purposes and plans for His glory.
There are sad stories about things that happens in the dark. What these people do comes from a wicket heart. In this message we look at what a wicked evil heart looks like.

The Holy Spirit was involved in the resurrection of Jesus. Not only was the Holy Spirit involved in the resurrection of Christ. --God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit was involved in the resurrection of Christ Jesus.
What we need to know about the way we should live as believers in a hostile world where enemies are waiting for an opportunity to do something to us.
The Holy Spirit was involved in the death of Jesus - the Messiah- --Already in the Old Testament, the Prophet Isaiah prophesied that the Spirit would come upon the Messiah- -The prophecy in Isaiah 42 points towards the Messiah who would have the Holy Spirit upon Him and Messiah would bring justice to the Gentiles. --When Jesus died on the cross, the Holy Spirit was with Him, and it was through the Holy Spirit that His blood was able to wash away our sin.

Why do we go through trials-- What can we learn from the trial Abraham went through when he was instructed by God to sacrifice Isaac.
The trumpets announce God's judgement on the earth. The first trumpet is blown and trees are destroyed and all the green grass. A sad sight indeed, but an opportunity for us to warn the unsaved.

THE HOLY SPIRIT IS THE AUTHOR OF GOD'S REVELATION. HE USED DIFFERENT METHODS TO REVEAL GOD.--- The Holy Spirit revealed God to us through His SPOKEN WORDS- -- The Holy Spirit revealed God to us through DREAMS-- The Holy Spirit revealed God to us through VISIONS-- The Holy Spirit revealed God to us through WRITTEN WORDS-- The Holy Spirit revealed God to us through JESUS
We are seeing the development of a One World Religion - It will be on earth during the last part of the earth's history.--Someone said- -As we approach the end of the Church Age, we can expect to see liberal Protestantism, in the form of the National Council of Churches and the World Council of Churches, being swallowed up by the Church of Rome.-
There are certain things which only God can do.--The Bible tells us of many things which cannot be done by man or by any other power, they can only be done by God. -- i. Only God can REVEAL Himself, and -ii. INSPIRE writers to write down an accurate record of that Revelation.
A Biblical world view - is based completely on the Bible - it is the only thing we as believers need to live lives which pleases God- --We must interpret the Bible correctly and accurately.--How can we make sure that we have a strong Biblical World View----First - Read the Bible--Second - Study the Bible--Third - Meditate on the Bible--Fourth - Obey the Bible--Fifth - Believe the Bible--Sixth - Live in accordance with the Bible--Seventh - If the world says the opposite of the Bible - hold fast to the teaching of the Bible - even if it leads to you being called names, downplayed, rejected, or persecuted-
The Holy Spirit is SPIRIT... as the Father and the Son is Spirit---We have pictures in the Bible which helps us to understand who He is and what He does. - -1. The Bible tells us that the Holy Spirit is a SEAL.-2. The Bible also tells us that the Holy Spirit is like WATER.-3. The Bible also tells us that the Holy Spirit is like WIND.
A -Biblical world view- is not the same as a -Christian world view,- -A -Christian world view- can be different from denomination to denomination - it can even differ from Christian to Christian.-I also said that I believe that all born again believers should embrace and live according to a Biblical world view. --A biblical world view comes directly from God's all inspired Word.
The Holy Spirit is SPIRIT- as The Father and the Son is Spirit--We have pictures in the Bible to help us understand who He is and what He does.- -1. The Bible tells us that the Holy Spirit is a guarantee.-2. The Bible also tells us that the Holy Spirit is a FIRE.-3. The Bible also tells us that the Holy Spirit is OIL.
This is part 1 on the importance of having a Biblical World View. There is a difference between a Biblical world view and a Christian world view.
The Holy Spirit is pictured in Scripture as clothes we put on, and as a dove. What do these pictures mean--

Revelation 8 tells us that there will be silence in heaven for -half an hour- as the seventh seal is opened.--What is the meaning of this -silence---
In our Christian walk, we must always ask what the Bible says about any subject. When we study the Bible concerning the Holy Spirit, we find that THE HOLY SPIRIT'S NAMES SHOW US THAT HE IS GOD. --For example--The Free- generous Spirit.-The Spirit of Grace.-The Spirit of Prayer.
John tells us that the truth does not change. He wants us to take the truth test and he warns his readers that digression - or a moving away from truth leads to idolatry.
Fathers day message---A. God expected men - to do justly-- i. Men should give to God what is due to Him- ii. Men should also give what is due to his neighbour.- iii. Men should also do what is due to himself.-B. God expects men to love mercy.-C. God expects men to walk humbly before God.
As with all things in our Christian walk, we must ask 'What does the Bible say--'. When we study the Bible concerning the Holy Spirit, we find---THE HOLY SPIRIT'S NAMES SHOW US THAT HE IS GOD---1. The Spirit of the Lord-2. Eternal Spirit-3. The Spirit of glory-4. The Spirit of life-5. The Spirit of Holiness
The apostle John tells us that we must confess Jesus Christ according to truth---a- We must confess the truth, and not deny it.--b- The truth is that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh. --c- The truth should not only be in a Book.
It is in the New Testament that we have the clearest teachings that the Holy Spirit is a Person - as the Father is a person and the Son is a person within the Trinity---In this study we look at the Spirit who can be grieved, blasphemed, resisted, lied to and obeyed.

There has been a lot of confusion about the Holy Spirit. One of the things that confuses many people is the question- Is the Holy Spirit some sort of 'POWER', or is He a 'PERSON' -like Jesus--- --In the New Testament we have the clearest teachings that the Holy Spirit is a Person - as the Father is a person and the Son is a person within the Trinity...
There are a few things involved in our salvation. We are saved by grace through faith. No one can work their way to heaven.
God is not done with Israel as seen in the sealing of the 144000 Jews - 12000 from every tribe. The multitude dressed in white robes worship God around the throne. What a picture.
Jesus is known in the Bible as- The Author of our faith, Prince of life, Author of Salvation, Banner, Beloved One, Bread of God and bread of life.

We as believers have the privileged to have God for our shield and strong tower.--What does this mean for us-

As believers we are called to apply what we know. We are called to live what we know and believe.
