Cities United supports a national network of mayors who are committed to reducing the epidemic of homicides and shootings among young Black men and boy ages 14 to 24 by 50%.
On our podcast we'll explore the different voices that support, uplift and engage our mission within our network. Addressing different challenges and successes that are a result of creating safe, healthy and hopeful neighborhoods for black men and boys.
That’s why our podcast's sponsor, Levi Strauss & Co. has pledged its support for gun violence prevention through providing philanthropic grants to nonprofits and youth activists working to end gun violence through their Safer Tomorrow Fund. By elevating the stories of young people and grassroots programs implementing successful interventions like Cities United, LS&Co. aims to further the Safer Tomorrow Fund’s goal of countering the gun violence epidemic in this country and making communities around the nation safer.
