Natural intelligence - for iBooks

The Open University

1 Episode

One goal of artificial intelligence is to bulid machines that can operate in the real world, with all its noise and uncertainty. Much of what we want machines to do (see, recognise, navigate, move, coordinate) is already done very well by simple creates. *In this unit, we look at ow such creatures achieve these goals and start to understand how we can build machines with the same capabilities. This study unit is just one of many that can be found on LearningSpace, part of OpenLearn, a collection of open educational resources from The Open University. Published in ePub 2.0.1 format, some feature such as audio, video and linked PDF are not supported by all ePub readers.
