Every moment of every day you make a choice. You can select pain and frustration or happiness and joy. Are your choices helping you, or are they keeping you small? Join podcast host, meditation instructor and author Tomás Garza as he takes you on a spiritual deeper dive, and reach the next level in your personal growth. Allow yourself to open to a whole new level of experience. Gain confidence, true power, and certainty. Make the simple choice. Decide to Transform.
The spiritual path takes vulnerability and courage. So does any endeavor in personal growth.
Courage to do what, specifically?
Courage to honestly examine your life, and to realize that the way you've been doing things isn't working for you. In other words, it isn't bringing you constant, lasting happiness.
Also, let's include vulnerability, the courage to ask for help.
This episode is about admitting that you don't have all the answers and asking for help, because help is most definitely available.
You can ask for help in a conversation with a human teacher, or you can ask for it via prayer. Either way, this vulnerability is tremendous for learning to set the ego aside. The ego wants you to think you have all the answers, that you're a rugged individualist who doesn't need anyone else.
How is that working out for you, though?
This episode is a salute and a huge shout out to all of you on the path, who have shown vulnerability and courage and have begun the process we all ultimately go through. It can be scary, yes, especially when we consider that most of us are absolutely not conditioned in our societies to be vulnerable. Showing it requires the utmost courage.
And I thank you for that.

Yes, that's right. The theme of this episode is chill, calmness, relaxation, and being a chilled-out human. Fun!
I offer this short episode in response to a frequent question. It goes like this: "Dude, how are you so chill? I mean seriously, how is it that you're so relaxed?"
The very first thing I can say is that, well, I just am. Now, how can you be more relaxed in your life, and what are the benefits to you if you are? That's the more important question.
This conversation is all about you. Even if your day isn't going as you'd hoped it would, how can you bring just a touch more peace and tranquility to your experience?
One thing I invite you to do is avoid comparative reality. Just because someone else, say the Dalai Lama, appears calmer than you are doesn't mean there is anything wrong with you. It doesn't mean you're doing life incorrectly. Comparisons don't help us; after all, the Dalai Lama has been meditating much longer than most of us!
What are the benefits of being just a bit calmer? For one thing, relaxation helps all of our physical systems immensely. Emotionally and psychologically, when we take the time for peaceful relaxation we begin to notice a gap between stimulus and response. What I mean by that is things that once caused you to fly off the handle may now affect you less, or there's a longer gap between the event and your response to it, i.e. no knee-jerk habitual reaction. This gap opens up mental and psychological space for you to make a different decision.
Over time, this is huge.
So how do you do it? Meditation is one way, so is a walk outside, exercise, yoga, sitting down to read or listening to music, you name it. The right answer is whatever works for you.
Being chill can really, really help you. I invite you give some thought to how you could bring more peace and calmness to your life, then go out and create it.
Please join me.
[And PS: Please enjoy the Air Force jet flyovers at a couple of points in the recording. I have chosen not to edit these out and hereby offer them to you. The flyovers, which are completely random here in the west Phoenix metro area, happened to be very close to the ground on the day of recording, and presented me with an excellent opportunity to remain chill. Things are not always as we'd have them be. Enjoy!]

When we think of healing in the world, we tend to think of the physical body, the curing of illness, the mending of a broken bone. This indeed constitutes healing. Today on the show, I invite you to ponder another, more expansive definition.
Healing is of the mind. The physical body may or may not follow (though it typically does.)
How do we heal the mind? By allowing it to be healed, by accepting healing for ourselves. In truth we are whole and complete just as we are; we have only to allow this to be. We allow truth to be just as it is.
Please join me for a short discussion of healing and your own power to perform it--yes, your own power.
This will be the first of many discussions on this topic. As always, with questions or comments please feel free to reach out, and to visit me on my website for more information.

Spirituality is universal. It applies to everybody.
It also applies equally to everybody, that is maximally. Spirituality is always on; it never switches off, even if we seem to. We could run off and hide for as long as we wish, but the universal never goes anywhere. That is why it's known as "universal."
Please join me for this message of accessibility and inclusivity. There is no one excluded from these discussions, no matter what somebody's background may be. No one owns the truth. It is not property.
This theme arises on a constant basis in my teachings. If you are content with your path and the spiritual tradition or traditions you follow, I invite you take a deeper dive. There is always another layer to uncover, that is until you have peeled them all away. If you are searching, I invite you to keep searching; we are blessed to live in the 21st Century with the internet and all of our modern technology; every spiritual tradition in the world is readily accessible.
As always, I appreciate your joining me and happy practicing!

What are miracles?
Great question. Of all the many topics of world spirituality, this always rises to the top of any list of the most attractive. But what are they, actually?
We think of examples like people being cured of a supposedly incurable disease. We also think of levitation, bending spoons, or if we're Star Wars fans, Yoda or Luke Skywalker moving boulders with just the power of their own thought.
The truth is that miracles are far more accessible than that. One need not be a Jedi Master. Each of us is fully capable of miracles right here, right now. In fact, miracles are our birthright. We should expect them.
In this episode please join me for a message of personal empowerment. It is merely a statement of truth. You are a miracle worker.
I lean heavily on A Course in Miracles for this material. In fact, the definition I use stems directly from the Course.
A miracle is any shift from fear to love, from the ego to God, from light to dark, from death to life. Any shift. Each and every one is equally powerful. If you find yourself unable to levitate, no problem: a miracle worker you remain.
Again, miracles are far more accessible than you may imagine. Join me, and work them.
Rev. Tomás Garza is a Spiritual Teacher and Mentor as well as a published Author, Podcaster, and Meditation Instructor. As a teacher of A Course in Miracles, Rev. Tomás invites you step into your power and explore ideas you may never have consciously held about yourself, yet know deep down to be true.

What is nonduality?
What isn't it?
Both are perfect questions, and neither can be answered in words. Nonduality is beyond all symbols and concepts; it simply is.
That being the case, let's use some words to talk about it, why don't we?
On this episode of Decide to Transform I take you on a short journey through the truth of all that is. Nonduality underlies all spirituality because it is all that truly exists. In other words, there truly is only oneness--the hippies and reggae artists aren't just making this up!
Ultimate Truth (Absolute Truth if you're familiar with the Buddhist terminology) cannot be pinpointed with words, but it can be experienced. Spirituality, therefore, is all about experience. Yes, it is important to understand spiritual ideas on an intellectual level, but the intellect can only take you so far.
Many traditions discuss and encourage the experience of nonduality. In practice, it involves dropping our pretenses, judgments, and self-concepts and allowing Truth to be just as it is. As many teachers will say, spirituality is quite simple: we have only to allow Truth to be.
What makes this seem complicated? Our own concepts and judgments, our ideas about ourselves and the world that have absolutely no bearing on reality, but which we defend as though they were reality itself.
Join me on this brief but informative journey. Many spiritual traditions have a pronounced nondual focus (for example several traditions of Buddhism, Advaita Vedanta and A Course in Miracles.) I invite you to delve into one of them and awaken to the presence of Love. It has always been, even as we have wandered elsewhere.
Please enjoy the earlier shows from Season Five and past seasons, including the dozens of interviews with leading men and women in the field of personal growth and spirituality! Season Five kicks off with short episodes covering the basis of my own spiritual teachings, of which this show is number 4 of 7.

Disarm. That's my word.
Yes, the subject of today's show is a verb. So is spirituality, when you think about it. Spirituality is an action verb.
How is this? It involves our active decision-making each and every moment. As we see throughout the spiritual path, every moment presents us with an opportunity to choose Love or fear, God or the ego, etc. This choice is active and immediate.
When we choose Love, we lay our weapons aside. We set aside our judgment, blame, petty vendettas, etc. Even if we only do it for a split second, still we disarm ourselves.
What we discover is that disarming feels good. It induces positive feelings in the moment and leads to happy outcomes. Do you not want more of these on the path?
Of course you do! I invite you, then, to disarm.

When it comes to spiritual practice, the power of decision cannot be understated. It is both central and immediate, with far-reaching implications. In short, it is huge.
The world seems to present us with many decisions: what to make for dinner tonight, Netflix or Hulu, chicken or beef, the list goes on. While it seems we face a million decisions, in truth we have one decision to make, and we have only two options.
Every moment of our lives, we choose either love or fear, light or dark, God or the ego, life or death, our higher Self or our cut-off little self, etc. This applies universally, i.e. to all of us, all the time, regardless of religious or spiritual background.
The choice we make then shows us more of the same. If we choose a fit of rage, we see a world enraged. If we choose love, we see a loving world. What appears to be outside of us reflects our choice back to us. What is really happening is that we are shaping our experience, based entirely on our choice in the present moment.
Our decision matters. The beauty of it is that when we discover we have chosen fear in the past, we always have the present moment to make a different choice. We can always choose Love. We have a continuous opportunity to do it again and again. The past is gone, after all.

Welcome back to Decide to Transform!
After a five-month break, I'm coming back to the mic with some new and exciting, shorter episodes. I'll be coming to you solo, and speaking from my heart and my own experience on spirituality and the journey we all find ourselves on. This is, unbelievably, Season Five.
This first episode is all about simplicity. As I show up in the world and teach, I find a number of themes coalescing, ideas that apply to every video I shoot and to every talk I give. Simplicity is one of them.
We complicate everything needlessly. We are the ones who invent layers and gradations of experience, judging each one as "less than" or "better than," comparing and contrasting as though each item were a sole and separate entity. They are not.
Spiritual practice is simple: either we choose Love or we choose fear in the present moment. Not yesterday, not next weekend, but now. It only appears that we have billions of choices before us; we have just one, and the choice we make governs our entire experience.
Call this choice what you will: Love or fear, God or the ego, light or dark, life or death, Higher Self or little self, etc. It is the same for all of us.
Such is the basis of spiritual practice, which of course is moment-to-moment, because the present moment is all there is.
So, here is the question: what are you choosing?
I welcome your questions! Nothing is off limits. I invite you to shoot me an email at tomas@tomasgarza.com .

Noa Gliksman lives in a postcard. Really, she lives in a postcard, and perhaps you have been there, too. It's in Mexico, on the Caribbean Sea, and I can promise you it is relaxing.
Whether you have been to Playa Del Carmen or you haven't, I'm sure you'll agree that living right next to the Caribbean Sea is picturesque and relaxing. We all want to live in a more relaxed state. Modern life stresses us, and we need to know that the journey from stressed to relaxed is possible.
It is. Noa shows us how, and that it all stems from a decision.
At one point in her life, Noa suffered from depression and anxiety. Physical manifestations developed, and she was finally diagnosed with septic ulcers and a hernia, among other things.
Noa realized and accepted that she had created the situation. With this acceptance came the realization that having created the life full of stress, she could create a life of happiness and relaxation.
This began a gradual move to holistic wellness. Along the way, Noa was willing to use her own body as a lab, to see what worked and what didn't. What stuck was the realization that every moment is an opportunity for us to take responsibility for our health--not just physical but emotional, spiritual, etc.
Noa reminds us that everything is possible, and that we hold more power than we realize; let us use it to create health, relaxation, and happiness.
Noa Gliksman facilitates health transformations previously labeled impossible. She is passionate and determined to help people (re)claim their health and nurture their most valuable asset so it does not become a liability. She has helped executives, entrepreneurs, and even doctors reach new heights in life through habit changes that create optimal physical and mental health, renewed energy and mindset for inevitable success. Noa has transformed her own health; having suffered from severe acid reflux among other ailments, she is now a happy, healthy, balanced woman.
Noa is a mother to teenage triplets and currently lives in Mexico. She has lived in Brazil, Israel, St.Lucia, and the United States, and is fluent in four languages. She has served hundreds of clients in over 40 countries and is a serial entrepreneur who manages multiple businesses. Her education is as eclectic as her travels, and her experience as diverse as her lifestyle.

At age 14, Ben Oosterveld found himself on the streets. At 15, he endured a failed suicide attempt. Rehab soon followed.
Today, Ben is highly successful in business, having built a multi-million dollar, top national team in real estate. He leads personal growth retreats and coaches entrepreneurs and national companies. What changed? Ben realized that the inner game is everything.
Indeed the inner game does mean everything. Master this, and the whole world opens up. This is true in any arena of life: business, relationships, spirituality, you name it.
Our inner game involves getting real and intimate--also very honest--with ourselves. Too often we run and hide. We feel we have to be or act a certain way; we perform for love, and in the process we lose ourselves.
Ben knows this pain. He also knows the path we must tread if we are to move beyond it.
Join us for a high-energy episode of Decide to Transform, and enjoy Ben's no-nonsense, practical approach to pointing the way for people to crawl out of their emotional holes. We have all been there; maybe some of us still are. If so, Ben has a very important message for you. Tune in and check it out!
Ben Oosterveld did not have an easy start to life. He lived on the streets from the age of 14, survived a failed suicide attempt at 15, a later spent an entire year in rehab. His inner game needed work. He was a pure-bred people pleaser, manipulative and controlling man who always compared himself to others to the point of constant self-sabotage.
Today, as a successful entrepreneur and business professional, Ben helps business owners get clear about who they really are and what they really want. He helps them make the right changes in business and in life with the new goal of building a life they love. His focus is on speaking, coaching, and running personal growth retreats.
Ben loves business but his real obsession is helping people break free of the old patterns that hold them back in life. The inner game is everything to him and he is on a mission to find his tribe, one extraordinary person at a time.

Five years ago, Emilie Rawlings had a breakdown. She was overworking herself, the culmination of years of struggling with boundaries, specifically of time and obligation. She pushed herself constantly to be better, informed by an undiagnosed anxiety and drive for perfectionism.
Her breakdown was not just mental and emotional but physical, as well. Emilie found herself unable at one point to get out of bed, unable even to think. She was literally shutting down in every dimension of life.
As she lay unable to move, Emilie reached a decision. She determined to put herself first. At age 45, this marked the first time in her life she had done this.
It proved to be the turning point. Unable to do anything besides lay down and breathe, Emilie began breath work and meditation, even if not calling them by name. She focused on this, and in so doing turned her considerable drive and determination toward self-care.
Emile was unmade, and remade.
During this time, Emilie developed, quite organically, a process she calls "Seven Layers." She now teaches this process, which begins--as her journey did--with simple body awareness. Through this process, people can enter into timelessness.
Join us for this inspiring and very healing episode of Decide to Transform.
Emilie Rawlings, having suffered a complete breakdown in mind, body, and soul, now devotes her time and energy to helping others who have suffered similar instances in their lives. She does this with her Self-Care strategy program. Emilie is passionate about spreading the message of Self-Love and Self-Care through her books and courses.

GP is back!
Please join me for this very special edition of Decide to Transform as renowned Spiritual Teacher GP Walsh joins me on the show. GP is a regular contributor, and in the past few months we have had some amazing conversations and covered a number of topics. One thing is for sure: you will definitely learn something today.
We begin with the premise of acceptance and receiving. What is this, really, on the spiritual path, and how can we be sure we really are accepting and receiving? Also, what are we accepting and receiving, and from whom?
Let's start by accepting this: we do not know our own best interests. Really, we don't. Many of us have arrived at our present situation because we have tried everything. We have adopted many practices, modalities, and "things" and yet we still find ourselves suffering.
Let us accept that we have run out of moves. We can't do it by ourselves. We need help.
And what's next? The short answer is genuine spiritual practice. In particular, on this show GP describes for us a process and practice that he created: Inner Reconciliation.
In the process of Inner Reconciliation, we start by allowing ourselves to feel--everything. We simply stop and we listen to ourselves. We observe what is happening. We sit with ourselves as is, quite simply that, without an agenda. When we do this, we find ourselves in the experience of unconditional Love.
This is who and what we are. Note: we are not broken. We do not need to be fixed. We are perfect and whole exactly as we are.
What we are doing here is we are creating an atmosphere of Love. The more we accept and receive, the more we feel it, the more it colonizes and permeates our system.
We invite you to embark on this journey today. It is time.
GP Walsh is a renowned Spiritual Teacher with decades of experience practicing and teaching meditation, EFT, and spirituality. He is the creator of Inner Reconciliation, the process described in this episode, and is also the creator and teacher of a number of workshops and programs related to spirituality and awakening.

Newly-published Author, Coach and Yoga Instructor Rachel Matz has had plenty of experience of never feeling "enough." Like all of us in one way or another, she has been shamed, and has felt this pain acutely.
Perhaps you can relate. Perhaps you have experienced shame and the nagging sensation of never being good enough, valuable enough, smart enough, sexy enough, etc. As human beings we tend to eat ourselves alive in this department, constantly reminding ourselves that we are sick, unworthy, and limited.
Are you yearning to break away from this self-doubt? If so, tune in to this episode of the show, as Rachel walks us through some of her childhood shame and trauma and shares openly about her experience working through it and leaving it behind.
The reality is that feeling "not enough" keeps you in a loop of suffering. Scarcity beliefs reign, and situations always seem to end in disaster.
This does not have to be the case. This does not have to be your experience. Rachel invites you to tune in, be proactive, and know that you are worthy. She invites you to practice "enoughness."
Rachel Matz has a coaching business called The Embodied Goddess for women's embodiment, sexual liberation, and business mastery. She and her husband co-own 4th and Market, a three-story historic building in their hometown of Zanesville, Ohio which they have transformed into a yoga, wellness, and fitness hub. Yes, different is fun!
You might even argue that it's essential.
Author and Actor Andrew Mondia has adopted "Different Is Fun" as a life slogan, and he lives it every day.
Andrew joins me as my guest on this episode of Decide to Transform to talk about this slogan, and to share with us his journey to adopting it, an opening up process that has spanned many years and is an integral part of his personal transformation.
Andrew has endured many challenges in life, from bullying and abuse when he was younger to an attempted suicide. On this highly energized and entertaining show, Andrew takes us through some of the significant milestones along the way, from coming out as gay in 2004 to performing at the Opening Ceremonies for the London 2012 Olympics.
Accepting yourself enables you to blossom. While this can certainly be a process, the rewards are well worth the effort. Are you fully accepting of yourself? Join us and come away inspired.
Multi-talented Andrew Mondia is an International Actor and Speaker who has inspired hundreds of people from different walks of life to live a passionate life by sharing his story of overcoming challenges. In the world as it currently appears to us, we humans face the high-speed evaporation of old paradigms. As old ways of thinking and of being cease to serve us, we find ourselves on our own, finding our way through as best we can.
My special guest GP Walsh and I use this situation as a jumping-off point for a far-reaching, spontaneous, and purpose-driven dialogue, and we hope you will join us!
Our current global predicament stems, of course, from our conditioning. The tribe, the culture aims to keep us safe, and we naturally seek this safety. At the same time, we have a deep drive to grow, to evolve. It is no wonder we feel pulled in different directions and conflicted.
Enter the gift of spirituality: we have to decide for ourselves. How liberating!
GP walks us through the pressing questions of what do we do? How do we navigate, transition, implement? While you'll have to tune in to find out more, suffice it to say that this choice--and where we're headed--is our destiny. This is what human consciousness developed for.
Ultimately, what happens is we make an argument for Love. This is the Age of Love, and there's a reason you are listening to this show, right now.
Join us.

In this very special episode of Decide to Transform, I sit down with GP to discuss the Teacher. What is the true role of the Teacher? What does the Teacher do--or not do? We cover these and many other questions, and GP shares with us some of his experiences with Mooji, his own Teacher.
While we primarily cover the arena of spirituality on the show, everything GP has to say about the Teacher applies to all aspects of life. Because spirituality is life, this is naturally the case.
The true Teacher exemplifies what they are teaching, and brings you to the point where you no longer need a Teacher at all.
The true Teacher says, "Don't take my word for it; look for yourself."
Also, the true Teacher will not diminish you, will not humiliate or embarrass you, nor will they ask anything of you, and they will always be honest, even if harsh. They will always exhibit kindness.
The true Teacher is in you. The Teacher reflects this back to you.
The true Teacher is always there.

Flip Awesome Aguilera has done a lot, been through a lot, and learned a ton in the process. As a liquor distributor by day in Miami, Flip spent his 20s in an evening poker league and as a DJ in South Beach. You can imagine. Life was a constant party.
A major shift took place in his life when a friend one day took him biking. Flip began racing mountain bikes, lost 30 pounds, and transformed inside and out.
Flip tells us that biking makes you present. This is one way he practices being present in the moment; it is the closest thing to God we can be.
Having a practice of presence cannot be understated. In the present moment, creation happens. This practice transcends religion and is a foundational piece of all spirituality. As Flip puts it, he himself is "spiritually promiscuous."
And what is this but a sense of childlike curiosity? We should all follow Flip's example: we should all stay curious in life.
Flip Awesome Aguilera is an NSCA, Precision Nutrition, University of Miami Sports coach, Jiujitsu blue belt, certified Holistic Life Coach and founder of Sweat Nation, established in 2010. Flip's coaching philosophy encompasses breath, mobility, stability, strength, nutrition, mindset, and self-defense.
Flip now resides in Colorado Springs, Colorado, and is involved in several engaging events in the community. These include Nerd Nite COS, Memoirs (true stories, unfiltered( and Axen Club COS. These bring the community together through storytelling, learning, and accountability. For more information contact Flip at the addresses mentioned below.

Join my special guest Erik Roth for a fascinating discussion of Shamanic Astrology.
Prior to meeting Erik a year ago, I had no idea Shamanic Astrology existed. Like many people, I had been aware of different schools of thought within the Astrology community, but not a branch as holistic and comprehensive as this one.
Erik is an experienced practitioner of Shamanic Astrology. To hear him discuss the alchemical, archetypal and magical/ceremonial dance of the stars and planets is a treat indeed. He reminds us that each of us is in a relationship to the sky and stars, and should we choose to cultivate this relationship, a beautiful world can emerge.
Join us for this inspiring and beautiful look at the Three Worlds, shamanism, archetypes, and astrology as they blend to form a comprehensive whole. Also listen as Erik talks about the practice of Shamanic Astrology, how he helps clients, and how he can help you.
Since 2010, Erik M. Roth has been providing astrological services as a Shamanic Astrologer, teacher, and author. He spent 9 years as the Managing Director of the Shamanic Astrology Mystery School.
He comes from the lineage of Daniel Giamario's Shamanic Astrology Paradigm, a system of astrology that is holistic, archetypally-driven and founded upon the "Three Worlds," one of the main principles of this system of astrology.
Exploring the alchemical and archetypal, magical/ceremonial qualities of the stars, planets and astrology has been a natural outgrowth of Erik's ongoing vision quest of understanding the nature of who and what we are as souls inhabiting earth as a physical body.

Fatima Katz is a psychic in corporate America. While undoubtedly she is not alone, to her it has certainly felt like it.
Culturally Egyptian, Fatima was born in Chicago. As a child, she spent summers in Egypt with her family, which includes several generations of psychics.
Fatima recognized her own psychic ability around age three or four, when she found that she knew the core of human suffering.
Islam, the majority religion in Egypt, frowns on psychics. People, including Fatima's family, become concerned with gossip and often stifle their psychic abilities, leaving them unable to grow. As a girl Fatima found that when she expressed her psychic abilities, people didn't believe her, so she opted not to pursue them.
What ensued was a chronic feeling of "stuckness." For Fatima, this stifling energy was chronic. When she became pregnant with her firstborn at age 28, her psychic energy reawakened, and came on, as she describes it, "like gangbusters."
Fatima had found herself in corporate America, for all the usual reasons: the money, the benefits, societal conditioning, financial security, etc. As she continues to embrace her gifts, she finds herself transitioning out of the corporate arena. It has served its purpose.
Join us for a deeply interesting and powerful conversation. If you find yourself in a corporate job--or any situation that no longer serves you--we invite you to tune in. You are not crazy; what is inside you is real and authentic. It is legit.
Fatima Katz is an Executive Assistant in corporate America who also happens to be a Mediumistic Intuitive Reiki Practitioner. Culturally Egyptian, Fatima was born in Chicago.

Dr. Garrett Goggans is an Entrepreneur, Speaker, and Mindset Coach who did not start out in these roles comfortably.
Garrett was once afraid to speak on stage, despite feeling deeply called to it. Can anyone relate? Social anxiety repeatedly got the best of him.
At one point, Garrett realized that in order to reach his goals and step into his calling, he needed to become a different person. He embarked on an in-depth journey of personal discovery, and in the process developed the Mindset Engineering that he now speaks about and coaches.
Mindset Engineering helps us to re-write our own blueprint. As we do, everything changes. Join us for an in-depth discussion of how this works, and hear how spiritual growth and personal development have helped Garrett reach the point where he is today, a place of effectiveness and deep connection.
As a Coach, Dr. Garrett Goggans refers to his work as "Mindset Engineering," and his passion for it has come from numerous life experiences that have brought him to the realization that our thoughts are the single most contributing factor to achieving success. People would often tell him that it felt like they were moving upstream without a paddle. Garrett has made it his mission in life to help others see that with the proper mindset they can propel themselves up that stream in such a manner that the paddle would never be needed. Through positivity, encouragement, and an overwhelming sense of faith he has helped others look past their current situations and find success in any endeavor.

In this very special and unique episode of Decide to Transform, GP Walsh provides us with a rare, step-by-step primer on the ancient yet little-known spiritual tradition of Advaita Vedanta.
GP has been a practitioner and teacher of this tradition for decades, and offers us his unique insight into its philosophy and practice.
You may know this tradition as "Non-Dual Self Inquiry," "Compassionate Inquiry," or other moniker. "Advaita" in Sanskrit means "not two." It points to the experience of pure non-duality, the essence of life and spirituality itself. It cannot be spoken about, because it is beyond words. It cannot even be thought, because even thinking about something means you are not thinking about other things. In other words, it implies duality.
GP expertly walks us through this extraordinary tradition of which he is a dynamic exemplar. With his characteristic humor and true love for all life, GP takes us on a rare step-by-step journey to the experience of who we are. The Tao is you, pure You.
GP Walsh is a Master Spiritual Teacher and Meditator in a number of different traditions and healing modalities. He is especially known for his teachings in the tradition of Advaita Vedanta. He is a monthly Executive Contributor to Decide to Transform.
GP's teachings present spirituality in a very easy-to-access, practical and heartfelt manner. His approach is highly effective in getting us to drop the inner war we all unknowingly and unwittingly wage against ourselves.
Please visit https://gpwalsh.com for more information on GP's many course offerings, guided meditations, musical compositions and more.
Have you ever been curious about the day-to-day spiritual practice of a true master teacher? Have you ever wondered what they do, what their day looks like?
If you answered yes, please tune in to this episode of Decide to Transform where GP Walsh joins me to discuss just this: his own spiritual practice.
You may know GP from his many courses and workshops, or from his weekly Satsang with G. In this conversation, he takes us through the foundations of his own practice.
Having practiced and taught for decades, meditation simply happens. It has become an integral part of life. Of course it didn't start out this way, and GP shares with us some of the historical development of his own spirituality.
In sum, spiritual practice is all about Curiosity and Exploration. We are all engaged in the process of becoming a Listener to all of the energies within us. Join us for this fascinating conversation to learn more.

We all have many critics in life. Some people review our work and find it wanting. Others review our job performance and find that wanting. Still others judge us, label us, typecast us, etc. Not one of these people is our worst critic, however. Our worst critic is ourselves.
We clobber ourselves, beating ourselves up constantly. This applies to any facet of life. In spirituality, we are horribly impatient with ourselves; we expect ourselves to acquire the wisdom of Buddha in 15 minutes of distracted and wild meditation--and we are serious about it!
This is where we find ourselves in the world. We have made it this way. So, what can we do about it?
My guest on this episode, Deb Goldberg, knows from experience that it is possible--and necessary--to get out of our own way.
We suffer from a core belief that we are not enough. Nothing we do measures up. Spiritual practice shows us--if we are willing--that this belief is of the ego. In truth we are enough--we are more than enough.
Deb shows us that living and operating from a place of "enough" instead of scarcity is a matter of allowing. We have to trust our guides, God, Spirit, the Universe. We need a willingness to do something different, recognizing that what we're doing now isn't working. We have to ask open-hearted questions, trusting we will receive the answer. We always do.
Join Deb for a powerful and very, very important discussion. If you recognize that you get in your own way, tune in to this episode. You will learn a tremendous amount, and come away inspired to take action!
Deb Goldberg is a scribe and Messenger for God. She was a traditional clinical therapist for 18 years until a Spiritual Awakening by Jesus transformed her and changed her path to Spiritual Teacher, Coach and Author. She was taught God's Universal Love and Wisdom and brings that knowledge into her work to inspire others.
She is the author of a book series called A Divinely Ordered Life that was dictated by Jesus. Deb has hosted several video cast shows on social media to help people heal, inspire hope and connect to Divine Love.

If you are not familiar with SolePath, you'll want to tune in to this episode!
Joining me as my special guest is Rev. Carrie-Ann Baron of WhiteLight Metaphysical Centre. Carrie-Ann is a SolePath Certified Mentor and shares with us its profound impact.
So, what is SolePath? It is your spiritual personality profile, in other words who you were meant to be.
Consider that prior to taking your current human form, you planned your life, what you came here specifically to work on, what brings you joy, and what energies you have mastered that will no longer bring you joy, so shouldn't be dwelled on. You may feel this to be true, you may not. Either way, there is much you can glean from knowing what brings you joy and resonates deeply with your innermost being.
How do I know this? I am familiar with SolePath myself. Let me tell you: it has revolutionized the way I look at all my activities, brought clarity I had been missing about all aspects of my experience, and showed me a straightforward path to step confidently and clearly into the role I was meant to play in this lifetime.
And what role is that? That of Compassionate Healer, supported by Intuitive Builder. These are two of many possible SolePaths. Join Carrie-Ann as she describes this incredible life hack, and how it contributes to truly understanding your greatness.
Carrie-Ann encourages you to stay curious. Take the next step. Find out who you were born to be.

Gail Hamilton is blind.
Yes, she has played the victim. She has felt deprived, cheated, sorry for herself, but she has also moved beyond this. She has refused to be stuck and has embraced the role of creator.
We all create our own experience. We create our lives. No matter the circumstance, we are not victims. We are not the helpless playthings of fate. We have free will--and we have never lost it.
On this very special episode of Decide to Transform, Gail shares with us her process of moving through victimhood. The opposite of victimhood, of course, is creation. The opposite of closed is open, and the opposite of blame is taking responsibility.
Gail has remained committed to this transformation despite significant resistance from sighted people, many of whom have labeled her, pigeon-holed her into limited and select roles, and have underestimated her dynamism and creative ability.
Join us for a humorous and very hard-hitting episode. Gail's message is uplifting: we do not need our eyes to see. Seeing is done with the heart.
Gail Hamilton is an internationally-recognized motivational virtual and live speaker certified through the National Speakers Association. Special guest Cathy Alves Davis joins Lisa Berry and me for a co-hosted edition of Decide to Transform where we talk about miracles, trust, and the profound gift of faith.
In 1998, Cathy faced a life-threatening Stage III Aggressive Breast Cancer. At the time of her diagnosis she was given little chance of surviving, but Cathy had an unwavering faith in God. She volunteered to be part of a rigorous and cutting-edge research protocol at Lombardi Cancer Research Center at Georgetown University Hospital.
During this time, God spoke to Cathy and reassured her that she would be fine. Trusting this, she moved forward with the treatments and with life.
She recovered, and the research results were nothing less than miraculous! The findings proved to be a great advancement in the fight against aggressive breast cancer. The specialized protocol is now standard treatment, saving tens of thousands of women's lives to date.
On June 1, Cathy's book Myrcles will be available (pre-order is available now--see below.) The book is a heartfelt story and living example of faith. With it, Cathy aims to help people see what faith can do.

In part two of his Executive Contributor recordings for this month, Master Spiritual Teacher GP Walsh discusses freedom. Not the political platitude and amorphous ideal, but true freedom, the real thing.
Real freedom is internal. It is our wellbeing with absolutely no dependency on anything external. If our happiness depends on anything external, we will inevitably fear to lose it. We will invest in home and auto security systems, we will worry, fret, even panic that our object of happiness could be taken away from us.
External things do not have happiness to give. A car does not have happiness. Nor does a new pair of shoes. Happiness is our natural state; it is always there.
So, how do we get to the experience of this happiness? Enter GP's signature courses, beginning with "The Yoga of Allowing." In this masterful course, we learn to be present with our feelings just as they are, without attempting to change or label them. We integrate the energies we have labeled as "bad" and disowned, dropping our conflict with them.
By dropping this inner conflict, we create an inner environment of safety. In essence, we drop the fight with ourselves. A completely loving and uplifting experience follows.
The joy of life, in fact, is the discovery of who you are. You are--and have always been--the source of your own happiness.

Master Spiritual Teacher and Executive Contributor GP Walsh joins me today for an in-depth conversation about choosing Love.
In response to a listener question on how to choose Love in these highly disruptive times, GP shares from the heart and delivers a powerful show that will lift up even the most stressed-out and jaded among us.
Clearly, the COVID-19 pandemic is perplexing. It is disruptive, and predictably invites people to project their fears. The vaccinated attack the unvaccinated, the unvaccinated attack the vaccinated, sides are chosen, dubious and uncorroborated evidence cited all around, and yet we all have the one choice we get to make moment-to-moment: Love or fear?
Love is our nature. It is who we are. The more we hear this message, the better. What recognizes itself as Love must be Love. Recognizing ourselves, we can apply our discriminating awareness in each and every situation to simply be loving. Because it is who we are, we know Love when we feel it and can choose it at all times.
This can take any number of forms, from a walk in the sunshine to smiling at somebody to petting a dog. etc. Every moment presents us with an opportunity.
In addition to the confusion, what is also clear from the pandemic is that our human values have come back. As a direct result of the past year, more people than ever are valuing interrelationship and interconnectedness. We are social animals, after all.
GP demonstrates to us that even in these times, the meanings of the heart have become predominant. This is a welcome occurrence. Will it last? Time will tell, but this resurgence is encouraging. If each of us chooses it, it will last.
Let us see to that.

The first time Jesus appeared to Deb Goldberg, my guest on this episode of Decide to Transform, He was wearing jeans and a white t-shirt. Very contemporary.
This was to be the first of many appearances. As a result of past trauma, Deb had arrived at a place in her life where she had shut out Love. She then embarked on a process of reopening, of confronting her feelings, letting them go, and forgiving. This was a process of learning to love herself.
What ensued was what Deb calls "Spiritual Reparenting." It is a process of learning straight from the Divine, of undoing everything in one's life so it can be divinely reinterpreted.
Part of this process for Deb was some rapid-fire dictation and receiving. In a span of 6 weeks, Jesus dictated 3 books, two weeks for each one. Deb's instruction: no typing; she was to hand-write.
Even though she didn't understand everything at the time, Deb wrote about her experiences and the profound healing journey that commences when we simply open ourselves and practice allowing.
The series of books, A Divinely Ordered Life, is available for purchase.
Join us for a fascinating story of allowing, acceptance, and self-love.

Everything starts and ends with you.
Does this excite you? Scare you? Maybe both?
We tend in life to project, to try to get rid of our feelings of lack, pain and discomfort by placing them outside ourselves. In other words, everything is somebody else's fault. In reality, though, it all comes down to ourselves. We are the ones who get to (not have to, see the difference?) take ownership of our experience. When we discover we have made harmful choices, we have the power to choose differently.
My guest for this episode of Decide to Transform, Lea Morrison, knows what it means to step up and take responsibility for your own experience. Depressed and suicidal as a teen, she hated herself. She ran. Eventually, she couldn't process the trauma that had informed her life and she dropped into seizures. She was prescribed high amounts of oxycontin, up to 200 mg a day.
Lea shares with us on the show how she found her way out, and how she shows up nowadays as a coach and vibrational healer, embracing life and living it to the fullest.
Join us for a show that covers some serious material, yet is light-hearted and fun!
Respond with Love, you'll get Love back. That's what Lea tells us.
She's right about that.
Known for her small frame and large personality, Lea Morrison comes to you as a trauma-informed coach, incorporating vibrational healing, mindfulness, and meditation into self-care instruction. Her intuitive ability to see the unseen, to explain the un-felt, and to reach into the root of what is holding you back is unparalleled within the healing community and one that she takes very seriously with great respect for the process of coming home to oneself.
Whether you are working through chronic pain, disease, or dis-ease such as depression, anxiety, thought patterns or limiting belief systems, Lea shares valuable tools that create dramatic transformations in all areas of your life.

Spiritual practice and growth is all about experience. Understanding something intellectually is one thing; having the experience of it is quite another.
In order to have the experience, we have to allow the experience. In other words, we have to trust.
Sally De La Rosa, my guest on this episode of Decide to Transform, knows all about trust, allowing, and getting out of your own way. While she is an accomplished Psychic Medium, Teacher, and Business Owner now, she did not always practice allowing. Like many Spiritual Teachers and Lightworkers, she was reluctant to step into her gifts for some time.
Sally reminds us that stepping into one's Light is a lifelong choice. You make it more than once; in fact you make it every moment. Making this choice is all about understanding who we really are: the Light is a higher vibration and we are attracted to it, but we must choose it. Each moment is an opportunity to choose yet again.
Stepping into your gifts involves accepting them and allowing them to go to work in your life. It is all about working on the trust. Join us as Sally graciously shares her insights and experience.

Competition sucks.
No, really.
It sucks.
Yes, it forms an integral part of world economic systems, sporting events, business, you name it, but let us think about what competition is, actually. It is a physical manifestation of separation, our mad desire to see ourselves as independently-existing units at war with other for resources we presume, in our ignorance, to be finite.
Even here in the world, where we have agreed to be bound by our economic systems, our legal systems, our competitive forms of entertainment, everything, there are other solutions to working with one another. Collaboration--true collaboration--is one of them.
My guest on this edition of Decide to Transform, Annette Maria, at one point found herself worn out and sick of competition. She has since devoted her life to collaborative ventures, aiming to gather people for a shared sacred experience.
Annette considers collaboration--and all of human experience--a sacred dance. These days she is the Host of the podcast Sacred Dance and the Publisher of the multi-author book Caged No More, available soon.
Annette has a journey of finding her freedom and breaking from traditions that she happily shares with us. If you have ever felt stuck and bound by tradition or convention, the way things supposedly "are," give Annette a listen and come away energized and inspired!
Annette Maria is the Founder of Sanctuary Publishing, Purpose Embodiment Coach, Intuitive Facilitator of Healing, Channel for Multi-dimensional Beings, Host of the Sacred Dance podcast, Published Author and Bhakti Yogini. Her work supports women to step into their soul's purpose, reclaim their inner goddess and manifest their deepest desires. She wants to see the planet a place that supports everyone feeling wildly expressed in their soul's purpose, reminded of their limitless potential and able to fully feel their humanness.

The COVID-19 pandemic has affected us all. One way or another, our lives are not the same as they were a year ago. For some, especially those with mental health considerations, life has been completely upended.
Join me for this special edition of Decide to Transform as I welcome Registered Psychotherapist and longtime Mental Health Advocate Carm Viola to the show. Carm has over 30 years of experience in children's mental health and is a Certified Anxiety Group Facilitator.
Since the pandemic began, she has found herself very busy. You can just about imagine. Anxiety is always prevalent, even in the best of times. Multiply that now--exponentially.
All is not dire and hopeless, however. Carm shows us this with her characteristic energy, playfulness and humor. She also shares her initiatives to spread love and kindness, initiatives like Heart Fuelers, which involve surprise visits to people deeply impacted by the current state of the world. While there may be a deep collective sense of loss and grief, there are plenty of people to help us find joy in life.
Happiness is healing. Let us all reach for some.
With over 30 years of experience in children's mental health, Carm Viola offers support to children and their families in the areas of speech and language, anxiety, selective mutism, self-regulation and other mental health concerns.
As a Mental Health Advocate, Carm has raised over $120,000 for children's programming and has been featured in the Neighbours of Woodbridge magazine. She has also appeared as a guest on several podcasts.

Indeed. Love is how you heal.
When something inexplicable and terrible happens to you or a loved one, how do you heal from it? Is it through retribution, in exacting revenge? The world would have us believe so. As an instrument of the world and our societies, our criminal justice systems believe so, too.
But does retribution bring lasting healing? Really, truly, does it? If you answered no, rest assured that there is another way: Love.
Quite simply, love is how you heal. Nothing else will work.
Barbie Liss, my guest on this very special episode of Decide to Transform, recently had a direct experience of the healing power of love, and graciously shares her journey with us.
In 2016, Barbie's daughter was raped. At the time, she was 21. The prosecution of the perpetrator went through pretrial in the traditional judicial system, and of curse the process was brutal.
After the pretrial, Barbie's daughter did something unusual: pursuant to an often-overlooked Canadian law, she asked that the legal case be handled through Restorative Justice rather than the conventional system. This took time to get approved by the court, as this was the first known case in all of North America where Restorative Justice was called for post-rape.
To provide a bit of context, a Restorative Justice solution calls for the perpetrator of a crime to be "restored," i.e. not punished by conventional methods. In court systems across the United States and Canada, Restorative Justice is available and quite common in some cases, such as juvenile court matters. It is highly uncommon--and at the time unheard of--as a solution for violent offenses such as rape.
Do not think for a moment, however, that the perpetrator was let off easy. After many months of court-ordered therapy and a declaration by the therapist that he was ready, the perpetrator, Barbie's daughter, and Barbie herself participated in an 8-hour healing circle in which each participant got a turn to speak uninterrupted, and the perpetrator had to listen to the impact his actions had on everyone present. Then, he had to accept responsibility.
Barbie's description of the healing circle is powerful. Also very powerful is her description of her own journey as a mother. She raises an important question for all of us: who is supporting the supporter? What happens when the supporter needs her own time and space to grieve?
In this hard-hitting episode, Barbie answers these questions for us and shares the work that she now does to help heal deep, often generational wounds. Through all of it, we cannot escape the conclusion that love is how you heal.
Barbie Liss has a B.A. in Psychology, is a Certified Life Coach, Reiki & Energy Healer and a Retreat Facilitator. She is a Speaker and Advocate for Restorative Justice and all things Human.
Barbie has traveled the path of Life and Motherhood from typical to not-at-all typical experiences. Her life-altering experience and healing journey following her daughter's rape, and their ultimate Restorative Justice outcome, led Barbie to the path she walks today. In healing inward, Barbie found the call for healing outward.
As a Maternal Empowerment Coach, heart-centered Wise Woman and Healer, Barbie offers a safe and love-filled space to guide in healing Generational Wounds and Societal messages that impact life. She helps cast aside fears and limiting beliefs as she walks with you on your path to reclaim your truest version of YOU!

God has a thought, and it is creation.
Have you ever wondered how this works, and what the practical implications are in your life?
If so, tune in to this episode as Executive Contributor and master spiritual teacher GP Walsh elaborates on Your Four Amazing Powers of Creation. Over his many years of practice, GP has adapted and developed these teachings into a course that he offers to all those curious about Self Inquiry and the truth of who we really are.
The fundamental premise is this: Reality cannot be created; it simply is. What we experience in the world is our perception. The Four Powers describe how our perception is formed and how it works to shape our entire experience. As you might imagine, much of this perception is handed to us (or if you prefer foisted upon us) at a very young age. It goes on to govern and shape our so-called reality, unless we seek the way out--and there most certainly is a way out!
The Four Powers are as follows:
1) Focused Attention
2) Belief
3) Identity
4) Discrimination
GP describes Discrimination as our superpower. In short, we all have the ability to tell the difference between greatness and ugliness. We just know. This is Reality communicating to us.
Without Discrimination, or when we willfully choose to ignore it, chaos ensues. In this very special double episode, GP shares with us some examples of what happens in a society and world where Discrimination is ignored. Corruption reigns, and moral and environmental degradation, massive wealth inequality, and a general numbness of the people to all the destruction raging around them.
If you're curious which society we hone in on as an example of a lack of Discriminating Awareness, GP and I both reside in the United States.
GP presents nothing short of creation itself with his characteristic precision, clarity, and sense of humor, and pointedly highlights what can happen when we collectively ignore our own powers.

Kady Romagnuolo grew up with anxiety. She lived in a rough neighborhood, and as she grew up she hid her anxiety from everyone. Later in life, as a professional participating in NLP training, her emotional baggage came up.
The baggage always comes up, usually when we least expect it. Our anxiety is rooted in the past, and we just never know when it will spring forth in a raging torrent and demand that we acknowledge and begin to deal with it.
Certainly anxiety can be rooted in past events and experience from this lifetime, but what Kady discovered is that anxiety can often be traced way back--to past lifetimes.
Is there more than just this lifetime? Many of us say yes.
Enter past life regression. Kady participated in regressions and began to experience her own past lives, and came to understand the root of many behaviors that have manifested in this lifetime. Just knowing about it is empowering, and enough to cause a shift.
Nowadays, Kady works with clients in past life regression. On this episode of Decide to Transform, she shares some of her experiences from her own regressions and talks about the power of this therapeutic and healing modality.
Kady sees past life regression as a movie to experience healing. If you have ever been curious about it, tune in to this episode!
Kady Romagnuolo is a board-certified NLP (neurolinguistic programming) Master Practitioner and a coach who specializes in conquering fear, goal achievement, breaking the cycle of self-sabotage and releasing negative ancestral and generational patterns.
Kady is also the best-selling Author of the books Home of the Soul and She's No Longer Silent. She is an experienced Real Estate Broker who has trained agents across Canada and is recognized for her advocacy work in supporting mental health for real estate professionals.

Listening is really healing. People need someone to listen--just listen--to them. Everyone possesses a basic need to be truly seen and truly heard.
My special guest Mehri Coulter knows full well the tremendous healing power of listening. Mehri is a mental health advocate who happens to live with bipolar. In this episode she shares some of her very real struggles, and shows us how important it is for people to be seen and heard.
Mehri was diagnosed with bipolar at age 20 when her fiancé brought her to a psychiatric hospital for being suicidal. After hospitalization and some medication, she did relatively well until experiencing severe postpartum depression after the birth of her third child. The next five years found her in a mix of severe depression, hypomania, anxiety and medication withdrawals.
Mehri's sister also suffers from bipolar, and so that people would not feel ashamed and alone, started her blog and Instagram account So_Bipolar. She aims to normalize the conversation about bipolar and to help lessen the stigma around mental health.
People with bipolar are in desperate need of a listening ear. Only a few months ago, Mehri lost her 16-year-old nephew Christian to bipolar by way of suicide. No lives should be lost this way.
Join us for a frank yet energetic conversation about bipolar, listening, and mental health in general. If you or someone you know needs help, please reach out. It is available.

Each of us is constantly unfolding, unraveling, a work in progress. We all find ourselves on a journey, one with difficult times and circumstances, detours, disappointments, and many, many opportunities to retreat from experience and hide. In such moments, we also have the choice to transform, to begin to shed our painful self-concepts. We have the choice to unfold.
Deirdre Maloney, my guest on this episode of Decide to Transform, has chosen self-acceptance and unfolding. Join us as she openly shares her struggles. These included low self-worth, depression, anxiety, and drug abuse. She was able to rise above these setbacks and now lives the life of her dreams.
Central to Deirdre's life and work is the journey out of shame. Many of us experience shame, for a multitude of reasons, and we can all attest to the fact that it is crippling. Through sport, writing, and other practices, Deirdre has moved away from shame and now helps others to do it, too.
Transformation is an unfolding. It is also a project. Tune in to Deirdre as she shares her perspective as one who has lived this struggle, and has moved beyond it.
Deirdre Maloney is the author of Unfold Me, a self-help book that will help its readers shift any shame they are experiencing in their own lives. Through her writing, she helps individuals feel understood and sets an example of self-acceptance.
Deirdre is also working on a plant-based cookbook, Unfolding in the Kitchen, available April 2021.
Furthering her work in sport and empowerment, Deirdre is the founder of High Gate Racing, Canada's largest all-female competitive cycling team with an initiative to involve and keep young women in sport. She has a sponsorship program for the Youth Development Team, providing financial aid and life skills to help these young women harness their power as athletes, students, and community members.
Deirdre is also a Holistic Healing Mentor, a co-founder of a women's healing circle in her community. The healing circle offers a safe environment for women to share their struggles, fears, and pain. Deirdre helps guide them to a path of healing.

Titus Kleppinger embodies transformation. In 2018, he found himself emotionally shut down. His marriage was suffering. He felt heartbroken, ashamed, guilty, defeated.
And then he made a decision--a decision to transform.
Today Titus shows up in his whole heart, assisting others to live from their hearts, too. When we do this, when we live from our hearts truly and without limitation, we experience the Flow. We work in it, we live it, we breathe it, and we embody it. We can excel, in other words share the Flow with others.
Join my co-host Lisa Berry and me as we sit down for a deep and poignant conversation with Titus. Transformation is possible, and Titus reminds us of this. We all have the Glow, the Spark of life within us; we have only to claim it. Each of us is capable of Miracle Moments. These happen whenever we get ourselves into the Flow, into the very heart of service.
This conversation is powerful. Tune in and be inspired.
Titus Kelppinger discovered his heart, his purpose, and his calling in October 2018. He enjoys helping others to get from where they are to where they want to be. He empowers and encourages others to live from the heart and work in their flow. Each of us can have a more meaningful life now!
Titus works with people on transformational development, concentrating on the whole person. His work focuses on mindset, health, nutrition, and spiritual wellbeing. When a person lives from their heart and works in their flow, they will be a success in whatever they set their mind to. Titus serves as proof.

Have the courage to change your mind.
Find this, and anything is possible--literally.
Join me on this episode of Decide to Transform as I welcome special guest Lavender Morantz to the show. Lavender has firsthand experience with impactful life transformation, and shares her story with us here.
Lavender spent years in corporate fashion, and knows all too well the perils of the "busy trap," society's unwritten mandate that we all need to race around frantically, at warp speed and gasping for breath, and if we don't then we aren't "productive" or an upstanding citizen. In other words, we aren't worth much.
B.S. That is what Lavender says (of course I agree.) If you find yourself caught up in the busy trap and exhausted, you can choose to ask yourself, as Lavender did, "Is this what I really want?"
If the answer is no, you can change your mind about the trajectory of your life. What is your intuition telling you? Listen to it.
Speaking of intuition, listen as Lavender shares with us how important it is, and how it literally saved her life through a skin cancer diagnosis when she was 21. She continues to listen deeply to it each day.
This is a deep and hard-hitting but also funny and light-hearted show. Join us. Have the courage to change your mind, and your experience will change remarkably.
Lavender Morantz is an international speaker and leadership expert, specializing in teaching women how to create the life of their dreams with a proven strategic process.
She is also a serial entrepreneur, founder of SwankPad (interior design), Freedom Junkie (legacy mentorship), co-founder of the Wealthy Moms' Club, a business and lifestyle coach, mentor, international speaker, published author, Certified Nutrition and Wellness specialist and a very proud mama of 2 super sassy girls.

So many people today talk about themselves or others as being "conscious." It is easy to pinpoint the opposite, because we see unconscious people every day, but what does it really mean to be "conscious?' What is involved in this, and what does a conscious person do? How do they go about life?
Miranda Werkheiser, my guest on this episode, knows what it means to be conscious, and to have a fun, productive, and meaningful life in the process. Miranda defines a conscious person as being aware, of being present with intention.
Miranda emphasizes surrender in a conscious life, surrender to the Flow, and surrender to one's own path, what we and we alone are meant to do. As many of us have, she spent years actively resisting. For over a decade, it felt to her like she was torturing herself in a life of conformity.
We all know the conformity from our own experience: the "need" to get the specific degree, get the "right" job, hook up with the "right" partner, and to "look" right at all times, to check all of society's boxes.
This was not for her. Is it for any of us, really?
Join us as Miranda talks about what it means to live a conscious life, and how the entrepreneur she now is honors the Flow and her inner guides, which are many. You will find she now lives a life of laughter and celebration. Such a life is available to all of us; we need to simply choose it.
Miranda Werkheiser is a conscuous Huster whose mission in life is to bring others together to create magic in the forms of art, breakthroughs, clarity, vision and fun through conscious entrepreneurship.
Miranda is the CEO of Suurender & Slay, LLC, a Spiritual Life Coach, and a Reiki Practitioner.

It is not an easy road to owning our value. Other people put us down; we believe their messages. Society tells us where to go, whom to love, what to do and what to say, and we believe its messages. We suffer.
Yet we can change. Having bought into the script in the first place, we can cancel it. We can choose a different way.
Therese Skelly, my guest on this episode of Decide to Transform, has lived this experience. She has spent time in codependency and shame, she has suffered, and she has decided to own her value. Now, she lives life to the fullest and helps people bust shame, clear blocks, and live their own lives without apology.
Healing shame--which tells us that who we are is wrong--is not an easy process, but it all begins with a decision. Therese has walked this road. Join us as she shares her journey and what has worked for her, leading to massive transformation and her living a completely different life.
You can overcome shame and codependency. Therese will show you how.
Whip-smart, funny, and a fiercely devoted stand for her clients' brilliance, Therese Skelly mentors mission-driven leaders and entrepreneurs globally who are ready to bust shame, clear blocks, and live their best life without apology. Through an intuitive process and her "take no prisoners" Mama T attitude, she helps her clients move past obstacles holding them back from being truly happy, empowered and free. Therese is a former therapist who lives in Scottsdale, Arizona with her pup Murphy, and dotes on her two grown boys, Danny and John. When she isn't working with clients or cooking up a storm in the kitchen, you can find her on the road, on the back of her boyfriend's motorcycle living life to the fullest.

Please join me as I welcome master spiritual teacher GP Walsh for a very special edition of Decide to Transform. GP appears on the show twice a month as Executive Contributor, and today he delivers a fabulous interview on what is meant by the label "spiritual." Also, he leads us in a fascinating discussion of what it means to stand in the authority of your own truth.
In the modern world, confusion reigns when it comes to subjects like truth and authority. We are often taught that truth is highly individualized, and we are encouraged to stand in "our" truth, as though it sits apart from other people's truths and that we own it. This, of course, leads us to defining and defending it.
Truth itself (with a capital T) belongs to all of us. It is shared, and we have never lost it. Here in the world, it takes courage to stand in it. We have to be willing to change, to give things up. If we are willing, what we find is that Truth Itself is the ultimate Authority.
Please join us for this fascinating conversation!
GP Walsh has spent a lifetime studying various world spiritual traditions, and is a student of Non-Dual Self Inquiry master Sri Mooji. GP teaches on a variety of subjects, and is the creator of the programs The Yoga of Allowing and Inner Reconciliation.
GP's teachings are deep, relatable, and compassionate, and they present esoteric concepts in an easy-to-understand format.

Let us talk about God, shall we? What else?
This is how GP Walsh and I kick off this special edition of Decide to Transform. GP joins me for two shows each month as Executive Contributor, providing you the listener with unique opportunities to hear the thoughts and experience of a master spiritual teacher.
Join us as we consider God--nothing more, nothing less. Somewhere along the way, the Ineffable became a power figure, and remains so to this day in societies throughout the world. Rather than an experience that knows itself, God became a fact, a thing.
GP describes for us the importance of Self-Inquiry in knowing who we truly are, and sitting in the "Great Doubt" as described in Eastern spiritual traditions, i.e. questioning everything and being willing to have Truth revealed as you, not just to you. The Great Doubt is the doorway.
Are you ready to sit in it?

Every day we breathe. Our hearts beat, and we draw breath. We exhale. The process repeats itself over and over again, automatically. Rarely, if ever, do we pause to consider the power of our breath, much less give thanks for it. Rarely does it ever dawn on us that by bringing our awareness to this most miraculous and basic function, we could radically alter the course of our lives.
Please join me on this edition of Decide to Transform as I welcome Breathwork Specialist Sarah Novak to the show. Sarah is the first Breathwork Specialist ever to appear as a guest, and I invite you to tune in to the entire conversation, as she leads us in a breathwork exercise!
Sarah is a former hair stylist who found out about breathwork on Instagram. Intrigued, she began to delve into it. At first she found it triggered her anxiety, but as she continued to show up and practice she discovered that in fact it helped her manage it.
Breathwork became a healthful way for Sarah to process her anxiety and live a radically different life. These days, she works with people to help eradicate suffering by bringing our awareness back to the breath. Doing so calms us and shows us that indeed there is a different way to be. We cause ourselves pain and heartbreak unnecessarily. Breathwork is one of the ways out.
Sarah Novak is a breathwork coach, speaker, and entrepreneur. Her mission is to eradicate human suffering by bringing awareness back to the breath. She is currently in training to become a NeurolInguistic Practitioner (NLP) and Clinical Hypnotherapist.

During his long and illustrious career as a reporter, Richard Rieman worked all over the world and traveled on the press plane with former President Ronald Reagan.
Richard joins me on this very special edition of Decide to Transform to talk about the power of imagination, and the need we all have to cultivate it.
Richard spent significant time as a guide for blind skiers, and when concluding his career in journalism noted a tremendous void in the audiobook world, namely audiobooks especially for blind and low vision children.
Imagination Videobooks was born. Because children's books have illustrations, these audiobooks contain an audio description of the illustrations.
The power of imagination is tremendous. One way we can cultivate it is by reading. If you are a parent, you can help cultivate your children's imaginations by reading to them.
Join Richard and me for a conversation about the power of stories and the human imagination, a power that is integral to life itself.
As a child, Richard Rieman wanted to be Superman. Since he couldn't fly, he decided to be Clark Kent instead and had a long and successful career as a radio news reporter and anchor. Richard then became the "Audiobook Wizard," narrating and producing hundreds of audiobooks and authoring the award-winning book The Author's Guide to Audiobook Creation. To fill a gap in the audiobook world, Richard founded Imagination Videobooks, a nonprofit that creates audiobooks for blind and low vision children which include audio description of the wonderful illustrations.

Nowadays, as a boudoir photographer he gives back to women and makes a tremendous impact. With boudoir, he wants to show women everywhere that they are beautiful just the way they are. He aims to show that society's "beauty standard" is more about loving oneself than comparing our bodies to other people.
What characterizes Brad is the passion and dedication he brings to his work, also the connections he makes with everyone he spends time with. On this episode, he walks us through his journey, and shares with us why he is so passionate about his work and mission.
For anyone who is interested in the point of view of someone who genuinely prioritizes empowering others and is deeply passionate about it, be sure you catch this episode!

He has experienced first hand the struggles they have had with a positive body image. Both of his daughters were bullied and picked on, and all too often girls who experience this carry the effects with them into adulthood.
Women everywhere struggle with meeting society's "beauty standard," and Brad invites you to join him in spreading the word and in providing a platform for women to empower and inspire others worldwide.

Sometimes Plan A isn't the plan at all. We may want it to be, we may yearn for it to be, but things we plan for and desire don't always happen for us, even if we prepare for them for years. Sometimes the Universe just has another idea.
What then? Great question. What do we do when our plans completely fall apart? How do we handle our world's being rocked to the core?
My guest on this episode, Val Jones, knows the answers to these questions. Val is a former elite figure skater who shared the medal podium with Olympians Kristi Yamaguchi, Tonya Harding and Nancy Kerrigan. Her own Olympic dream was crushed when she sustained a career-ending knee injury.
Val was 18 when the injury took place, and she lost her identity. Just a teenager who had spent the majority of her life as a competitive figure skater, she had no Plan B for life. As you might imagine, she struggled. In addition to the emotional devastation, she endured 8 major surgeries in 9 years and after the fifth surgery, contracted a potentially deadly complication.
Now, however, she is thriving, and she shares her experience here on the show, as well as some of the techniques and practices that have helped her to persist through problems and overcome the many obstacles that present themselves when Plan A isn't ultimately in the cards. Val is living proof that we can not only get through a devastating situation but also come out the other side even stronger.

What does it mean to embrace life as it is? I mean as it really, truly is?
When you realize that you yourself are the Truth, you cease having an argument with life. You become the Flow. You embrace life as it is.
Spirituality is all about this feeling of being really, truly alive, about this deep connection and experience. In anything you have worked on or attempted to do in life, you have been after the sense of your own wholeness. Happily, it is in you. It is you, and this is life.
Join master spiritual teacher GP Walsh for a gritty, nothing-off-limits conversation about spirituality, personal transformation, and life itself. GP tells it like it is, and I believe you will like it!

It's okay--in fact it's more than okay--if podcast episodes come with a warning label. Today's label: NOT FOR THE FAINT OF HEART.
Joining me as Executive Contributor to the show is Master Spiritual Teacher GP Walsh. As you will recall, GP joined me last month for two gritty and hard-hitting episodes about men and the role of masculinity in our modern world.
Today, we talk about the modern world for what it is: a spiritually demanding time. Spirituality is under assault, and the tribe we have to defend is no longer our own close circle of friends and family members but the entire planet and everyone on it.
How do we find the spiritual maturity to get us collectively and individually past the point where we find ourselves, i.e. at a breaking point of our old ways of being? Make no mistake: this is happening.
All is not lost, however. Collectively, we have reached this point because enough people have said yes to self-inquiry. Enough people have begun to sincerely follow the spiritual path, in whatever form it may take, and ask the fundamental question about our reality.
That said, tension and confusion gets poured into the mix by "cappuccino spirituality," practices that seek to avoid the heart of the matter and the real self-inquiry, where we are forced to look at our own foibles. We find we cannot avoid this part, though many of us try.
The start of any deep spiritual process, and the answer to our pressing questions during these times, is with radical self-acceptance. We have become cut off from ourselves, and we release all this conditioning. In the end, we will find we have never gone anywhere.

Cindy had a close-up experience with a UFO at age 7, which altered the course of her life and has allowed her to fast-track her spiritual journey. You'll want to tune in to the show, as she describes this experience in detail.
These days, Cindy is a retired hair stylist (after 34 years of service.) During that time, she applied her work in environmental energy and intuition--which she also discusses on the show--to her clients. These days, she works as an Environmental Dowser, Coach, and Feng Shui Expert, among other things.
Cindy emphasizes saying YES to Spirit. She said YES herself in 2012, and is very happy she did.
Tune in to this show, and say YES to Spirit in your own life.
In addition to her work as an Environmental Dowser, Cindy is a passionate advocate for structured water. Follow her research journey here: https://wonderwaterdevice.wordpress.com .

SPECIAL for Listeners of this show:
As a gift to you for tuning in, Cindy happily offers this meditation, entitled "Next Level Blueprint"! Access it here.
Yes, you will get past this.
Whatever you are going through, whatever hardship, know that you will get past it. Of course it never feels like it at the time, but in the end it is true. We can all come out stronger on the other side.
Ask today's guest Lisa Peranzo. She knows.
Lisa suffered a devastating injury at age 19 during an Army ROTC training exercise, and the event altered the course of her life. Her right foot was dislocated and had shattered bones; she couldn't walk for a year. She was then unable to go overseas for duty. Remaining in the US, she could not do simple things like take a walk.
You can imagine the psychological impact. In such situations we can all fall prey to the tendency to portray ourselves as victims, then wonder what in the world we are going to do with ourselves.
Lisa began by letting go of her ego. She made the decision, and committed to a journey, with steps. Each step, as you might imagine, involves a decision to show up each day and prirotize yourself. Lisa did, and she showed herself her own strength.
Lisa now works in the fitness industry and guides her clients to find their own strength and power. Tune in to her inspiring story, and realize that no matter what hardship you are currently experiencing, you will get past this.
Lisa Peranzo has over 10 years of experience in the fitness industry. She has worked with a diverse population, including first responders, athletes and adolescents. Her experience in the fitness industry has also included working with clients to rehab from a variety of injuries, from spinal chord injuries, brain injuries, and recovery from childbirth to sports-related injuries as well as joint replacements. Her focus is always to help her clients find their own strength and power from their fitness routine.
She is a PMA-accredited Pilates Instructor, Senior Trainer, Certified CrossFit Instructor, a Certified Barre Above Instructor, and also has a certification in Paleo Nutrition, a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, and a Master's Degree in Human Behavior.
In addition to being the founder and CEO of A Healthful Life, Lisa has been featured in various magazines and podcasts including San Diego Voyager magazine, ShoutOut magazine, SHIFT magazine, Mental Cement podcast, and The Love of Purple podcast.

Are you ready for a Joy Revolution?
Yes, it's what it sounds like: a Joy Revolution!
Because joy is in fact revolutionary.
Join my special guest Marc Cordon and me for a fun and high-energy episode! Marc is a positive psychology coach and co-founder of the Joy revolution, as well as the host of The Golden Mic Podcast. I have had the good fortune of appearing as one of his guests (in fact we are both releasing our interviews with each other on the same day!)
Like many of us, Marc has experienced his share of burnout. He did what society tells all of us to do, and he found himself doing "okay" yet still unhappy. He craved a way to do more than just be okay. He craved a Joy Revolution.
Make no mistake: the decision to embrace Love is revolutionary. So is having the courage to sit with the hurt that inevitably arises when you choose it, and not to bypass it. The ego would do anything to preserve itself. It would have you not choose Love, and even if you did it would try to convince you not to go all in.
Happily, Love (which encompasses Joy) is so strong that it shines away all our layers of falsehood and uncertainty. In short, it cuts right through the B.S.
So, how does it feel to experience Joy, to bask in our Collective Effervescence? Ask Marc--he knows!
Marc Cordon, MPH has appeared on national television and radio and has delivered two TEDx talks on positive psychology. He is the author of Beyond Resilient: The Coach's Guide to Ecstatic Growth. His show The Golden Mic Podcast is an interview show that takes a deep dive into extraordinary people who lead their own joy revolutions. He has also launched Tiny Little Classes, a solo podcast on growth and unlearning.

Sylvia Plester-Silk became open to energy therapy in the 1990s while working with a Therapeutic Touch practitioner. A headache that had bothered her "flew out of her head" as though a lid had been lifted, like ripping off a toupée.
A trained Social Worker, Sylvia worked in a hospital at the time of her "Lifting the Lid" experience, and has since brought energy therapy into her work environments. These days she assists people in connecting with the energy present in all of our bodies.
Sylvia integrates traditional therapies with readings of the Akashic Records, a spiritual "supercomputer" that holds everyone's experience from beginningless time. Her Akashic readings enable a person to bypass their conscious mind and eliminate energetic blockages at the root.
And why would one want to eliminate energetic blockages? Well, for starters, for more emotional freedom in your life. This impacts literally everything: job, career, relationships, physical health. The fewer blockages we have, the closer we come to awakening to the truth of Who we really are.
It is up to each of us to make ourselves well. Fortunately, people like Sylvia are here to help us. Tune in to this episode of Decide to Transform and find out more.
Sylvia Plester-Silk, BSW is an intuitive counselor who integrates traditional therapy with Akashic readings and energy work to help individuals transform to a life that is fully On Purpose.
Way back in ancient history, in 1998, she graduated from the Social Work program at Ryerson University. While working for multiple community agencies, she has assisted thousands of individuals through addictions, mental health and trauma to finding their way. While she was powerful in this work, her results became exponential when she added anergy therapies to her work.
During the fall of 2019, she embarked on a life-changing trip to Machu Picchu where she gained many life lessons and insights that have brought her back to her roots.
She lives in Guelph, Ontario, Canada with her husband and her dog Josee.

Thank you for joining us for part two of GP Walsh's monthly Executive Contribution to Decide to Transform!
In the first episode, we began our inquiry on the role of men and masculinity in today's world with an in-depth look at how global societies arrived at our current situation, one of masculine-dominated cultures, war, pain, and widespread suffering. As GP shared with us, it is no one person's fault; we simply evolved this way.
Now for part two. We are here, now what? What do we do to create a more harmonious world?
As you might suspect from a glance at GP's bio, the answer is to look within. It is not to run off to the closest bar, the shopping mall, or to turn on a mindless program on TV. The answer is--as it has always been--spiritual practice.
The most courageous thing we can do is question our own ideas. As GP shares with us, what you believe to be true you become. Therefore, if anyone--man or woman--holds a weak and disempowered view of themselves, they become weak, disconnected, and in the worst of cases abusive and violent.
Happily, you and your conditioning are not the same. Guys, with spiritual inquiry we can question everything we have been taught in the world and still retain our powers as men: our endurance, our willingness to protect and defend life.
Let us all inquire into what is actually true, and real. This--and only this--is the solution to our predicament as a species.
So, ask yourself: Who am I?

Please join me for a new tradition on Decide to Transform! Beginning January 2021, I will release not one but two episodes with special guest and Executive Contributor GP Walsh. These unique and in-depth conversations will appear on the 15th of every month, so please stay tuned and enjoy today's shows!
The subject matter of our conversations will vary. Today we tackle an all-important topic at GP's suggestion: the role of men and masculinity in the 21st Century.
Ladies, please stay tuned, as this conversation applies to all humanity. Of course we begin with the premise that men in today's day and age need help. This is undeniable. If you are curious about this topic, you will find the internet littered with discussion forums and practitioners of all disciplines who work with the energy of masculinity and femininity.
What a number of these conversations miss is the history. How, in fact, did we get to the place where we are, where global societies are dominated by the masculine principle and pain and suffering are rampant? So many dialogues begin with the assumption that, well, things are the way they are, and that is true, but an in-depth understanding of how we collectively arrived at this place will help us tremendously to address the next fundamental question: What do we do now?
So, the first question first: How did we get here?
GP sheds his insight on the subject by explaining that the current predicament of men and the whole world is in truth nobody's fault. We cannot wholly blame the Catholic Church, nor the advent of agriculture, nor the Industrial Revolution, the internet, or anything or anyone. We simply evolved this way; it happened.
In this first of two episodes addressing this vital topic, GP goes deep. You will find this to be a characteristic of all his teachings. Enjoy this wonderful conversation, and when you're done, don't forget to listen to part two!

Are some people born more intuitive than others? Do they just pick up on things and "get" things while the rest of us stumble about, clueless? Are some people really more capable of feeling things than others?
Some might say yes to these questions, and others would say no: Intuition Is a Choice.
Intuition can be cultivated. It can be nurtured and developed. First, though, it must be chosen.
Join my co-host Lisa Berry and me as we sit down with Candace McKim, Intuitive Coach, Author, and TEDx Speaker. Candace has spent decades combining her background in Social Work with Yoga and Chakra Therapy to form a series of intuitive teachings.
Intuition is our soul speaking to us. While this dialogue is constantly occurring, it is our decision, moment-to-moment, to listen. Trusting our intuition, therefore, is a practice. It can be cultivated.
What are some of the benefits of trusting your intuition? For one, confidence--confidence in yourself and your decisions in life. Also, one experiences more ease when trusting intuition, rather than slogging through life feeling that everything is forced.
These are just a couple of the benefits. Join us here on this special co-hosted edition to find out more!
In addition to being an Intuitive Coach, Author, and TEDx Speaker, Candace McKim founded the Intuitive Coaching Academy's online training.
Candace helps Soulpreneurs level up their businesses by connecting to their SuperPower--Intuition--to build income and impact.
Candace speaks not only on Intuition but also on Women & Worth, Wealth & Wellness.

Take care of Habit 52, yourself.
Do this, and your dreams are possible. Anything is.
Join me for the first episode of Season 3 of Decide to Transform. My guest on this show is Damian Reid, Holistic Entrepreneur Coach and Mentor, as well as Keynote Speaker and Amazon International Bestselling Author.
Damian's bestseller Cure "Entrepreneurialitis": 52 Habits to Earn the FREEDOM You Deserve contains a list of habits all entrepreneurs would do well to cultivate. At the end, but by no means the least important, sits Habit 52, taking care of yourself.
Whether you're an entrepreneur or not, you have at one time experienced overwhelm and burnout. Our culture consistently delivers us the wrong message: that stress is a badge of honor, that the harried and frantic are the most productive and therefore the "ideal" citizens.
B.S. Life is about fulfillment and balance, also about enjoyment. If you aren't enjoying your work, why are you doing it anyway? Damian shows us that our business should be our passion, allowing us to fulfill our purpose. Everyone is passionate about something, and Damian encourages us to get creative and fashion successful businesses out of it.
He knows how, too: he is a third-generation entrepreneur and started his first company at age 13. He has followed the entrepreneurial path for over 35 years and launched six successful start-ups.
Join us on this episode and find some inspiration, because anything--literally anything--is possible.
Damian Reid is the CEO of Damian M. Reid International. As a holistic entrepreneur mentor and coach, he is quickly earning a reputation for rapidly assessing and interpreting what is missing across the Entrepreneur's 12 Key Areas of Life TM, as defined in his bestselling book. His effective and often unconventional solutions create significant breakthroughs in clients' businesses and personal lives.
Damian has also established Amorvita, Inc. The company exists to break down the barriers that prevent women entrepreneurs from connecting with the resources they need to build and grow a successful business.
Damian is actively pursuing his Top 100 (Bucket) List. This year, you will find him training for his first Olympic triathlon, learning Spanish, visiting the Grand Canyon and experiencing the many wonders of the world.

Tune in to this dynamic and very special edition of Decide to Transform as Lisa Berry and I co-host Break Up to Wake Up Coach and Author Jocelyn Bellows!
You may know Jocelyn from a previous episode of this show. Since then she had curated the international compilation Break Down to Wake Up: Journey Beyond the Now with 15 co-authors representing several different countries and five continents.
Break Down to Wake Up walks the reader through the authors' profound personal transformations, from battling addiction to painful childhoods to broken adult relationships. In each story, the reader will find an inspiring journey of persistence, determination, and the will to move beyond difficult life circumstances and not allowing those circumstances to define you.
Jocelyn invites both the reader and the listener to tell their story, to share with the world what is important to them. Sharing our fallibility is important; it is how we connect as human beings.
Join the three of us for this very special show, and listen as Jocelyn steps into her leadership role and discovers that her journey--and all of ours--has purpose.
Jocelyn Bellows is a Break Down to Wake Up Coach, Author, Podcast Host and Motivational Speaker. Join Dr. Roxana Roshon and me for a very special Winter Solstice edition of Decide to Transform, released December 21, 2020.
Roxana sits down with me for an in-depth discussion of the Mexica healing tradition and the practical applications of this ancient wisdom in the modern world.
The Mexica tradition hails from central Mexico. Commonly referred to as the "Aztecs," this society was much deeper and more complex than the warlike depictions prevalent in 21st Century media, which include brutal torture, barbarism, and human sacrifice. The reality of the Mexica tradition is far more complex--and the healing traditions are still living.
Roxana takes us through a very personal journey of how she found the Mexica healing tradition and the impact it has had on her.
The tradition involves waking and sleeping dream techniques as well as healing with the elements and nature. Central to it all is a willingness to connect, and to clear ancestral and karmic patterns that keep us bound up to toxic and unhelpful cycles that keep repeating.
Roxana believes that every single person on the planet can do this to heal. Find out more about this unique and highly effective healing tradition, and Happy Solstice!
Dr. Roxana Roshon is formally educated in botany, ecology, toxicology, and environmental biology, yet has been studying and practicing energy medicine for more than ten years. She made this switch as a result of her own healing journey in which her chronic allergies, asthma, and immune system imbalances were cleared.
Roxana was first introduced to the Mexica healing tradition in November 2012 when a friend lent her 2012-2021: The Dawn of the Sixth Sun by Sergio Magaña. The book contained the first healing meditation that Roxana embraced and was able to complete. After reading this book, Roxana and her husband traveled to Mexico in February 2013 and 2014. Both times, they pursued spiritual, historical, and cultural training derived from the Mexica, including the Toltec and Náhuatl cultures, as offered by the Centro Energético Integral. In addition, their teachers travelled to Ontario to provide additional training in waking and sleeping dream techniques, plus healing with the elements and nature.
Roxana understands that life is a balance between the heavy and light emotions. As we evolve as a species, humanity is ready for more love, light, play, laughter, acceptance, joy, and understanding in our lives.

Awilda Rivera Prignano is the bilingual Author of the children's book Loving Lulu (Lulu Amorosa in Spanish.) The story mirrors her own life experience with a relative experiencing dementia. If you have ever seen a family member go through this, you can attest to the heightened emotions and the challenges involved.
One of the greatest challenges, and one Awilda addresses directly, is how to express Love, and how to do it in a way that the family member can relate to it, and receive it.
Overall, the challenge is to stay connected. Awilda helps us address this challenge by encouraging us to look at the situation from the lens of a child. How does a child show Love? What activities does a child engage in? As adults, we can replicate these, and provide both connection and healing for everyone involved.
There are many ways to show Love. Join us on this very special edition of Decide to Transform and have your creativity stimulated--as well as your heart.
Awilda Rivera Prignano was born and raised in Chicago. She has always had a passion for writing and since childhood, has dreamed of one day becoming a published writer. Her dream came true when she was published in the anthologies Follow it Thru: Obstacles Equal Opportunities (2017), The Real Journey of the Empowered MomBoss (2018) and Your Shift Matters: Resistance to Resilience (2018). Besides writing, Awilda enjoys traveling and exploring new places. As a lifelong learner, she will soon be embarking on an international adventure and will be living and working in different countries around the world. Awilda engages very easily with everyone she meets and her mission is to inspire through her storytelling the values of love, kindness, and compassion for others.

At the heart of all personal growth and spiritual development is taking responsibility. When people say they "own" something in this sense, it means they take responsibility for it. We create our own experience.
This means we own both the beautiful and the horrendous in our lives. We also own our perception of experience as either beautiful or horrendous, and everything in between. No matter how much we would like to believe otherwise, we are not victims of circumstance. We are calling the shots here, and true growth and personal empowerment means a willingness to recognize this ownership, this authorship if you will.
Even in the most difficult of circumstances, we can all claim responsibility for our own experience. This leads to profound change.
Seth Leaf Pruzansky, my guest on this edition of Decide to Transform, has learned this lesson well. Growing up, Seth had a number of profound experiences of our divine origin. As a young man, however, he disconnected.
Feeling "different" and rejected by society, Seth tried to suppress his feelings. He became a junkie. He spent five years in prison for a marijuana-related offense. He experienced some very low lows.
Curiously, these lows allowed Seth to understand the depths of human suffering. This activated his compassion, and he began a journey of reconnection. He found the way out and embraced it.
Many people in the world proffer solutions to the experience of human suffering. Ultimately, all of them come down to one thing: we have to own it. Nobody placed us here just to watch us flounder. No one is manipulating us like puppets on a string. We have to take responsibility for our entire experience. Yes, this means the dark side, too.
Contrary to what many people believe, taking this ownership is the way out. It jump-starts a process of transformation that leads to the highest highs, to the experience of our Divine Nature.
Join Seth and me for a high-intensity, no-holds-barred conversation about his extraordinary journey from connected to disconnected to connected again. This is a journey every one of us can make. In fact, we are all destined to.
Seth Leaf Pruzansky has learned to masterfully articulate a set of experiential philosophies that enable individuals to move beyond the limitations of collective human consciousness and know themselves as a primary emanation of divine origin.
Seth is the self-published author of the book The Fight to Enlight: Initiation through the Heart Is the Only Way to Win, a successful entrepreneur, performing musician, co-founder of LivingNutz.com, TourmalineSpring.com, and editor of the blog ImAwakeNowWhat.com, a website devoted to globally awakening people to the power residing in their own consciousness.
"Welcome to the unknown, where everything is familiar and anything is possible."
This is a favorite saying of my guest on this episode of Decide to Transform, Cynthia Gauvreau of Edmonton, Alberta. The host of the Facebook and YouTube segment Tea with the Universe, Cynthia makes her debut appearance right here as an interviewee. Join us; you will see that she rocks it!
Cynthia has known since she was young that she was different and here to change the world, but only began sharing her secrets with the public in 2016. She is very well-versed in the spiritual realm and uses her intuition and expertise to assist others with unique card and energy readings, meditation, intuitive healing, DNA activation and reprogramming and Trilotherapy. In short, she is a Universal Healer.
Cynthia encourages others to share their story, knowing the world harbors many people reluctant to express their gifts and uniqueness for fear of being judged, singled out, labeled "woo-woo" or some such thing. In reality, the world needs all of us more than ever.
Be Who You Are: that is Cynthia's message to everyone.
In addition to her many services as an intuitive healer, Cynthia is the owner of WandWear Creations, Host of the Facebook and YouTube segment Tea with the Universe, the owner of Wand Publishing and owner and co-creator of The Weekly Wand.

Please welcome back Marybeth Haines to Decide to Transform! Marybeth is a highly regarded Author and Animal Communication Specialist, and she returns for an in-depth and uplifting look at ways we human beings can help animals.
Previously on "Guardian Animals of Lightness: Partnering with Animals for Healing" , Marybeth highlighted the significant role animals can bring in healing, and the many gifts they have to offer humans.
In this episode, Marybeth emphasizes some of the many ways we as human beings can help animals. In three real-life stories, hear how three very different animals communicated their own needs and how their humans helped them. As you might suspect, the end result was profound healing for all.
Animals have huge hearts and and are highly intuitive beings. We as humans--particularly if we live with them--can do quite a bit to help animals heal. As Marybeth so correctly states, it is a partnership.
Join us for this episode and enjoy these stories of transformation!
Since 2012, Marybeth Haines, The GAL Who Speaks with Animals, has been working professionally with animals and the humans who love them. In addition to being an Author and Animal Communicator, Marybeth is a Pet Bereavement Specialist, Ordained Minister and Speaker. She has published 3 books on helping adults and children heal from the death of a beloved pet.
Animals communicate with us in many ways, and always with love and it has been Marybeth's intention to help others in healing that is needed after a loved one has passed away.
Marybeth is very excited to connect with you and looks forward to sharing with you all the many gifts animals have to share as our teachers, guides and so much more.

What does it mean to find yourself in the Flow? What is the Flow, exactly?
If you have ever wondered about this, join me on Decide to Transform as I welcome Communications and Mindset Specialist Jason B. Kendrick. Jason focuses on helping people heal wounds by sharing their stories and learning to be present. This is part of finding yourself in the Flow: showing up and being fully present.
As Host of the podcasts Connection Café and Madmen of Masculinity, Jason focuses on healing the father-son relationship, on helping fathers and sons bridge communication gaps, which are often significant. Learning to be present and sharing our human experiences are significant components of this journey.
In any healing journey, we as human beings have to work on getting comfortable with discomfort, with the "Un-comfort," as Jason puts it. Healing journeys involve facing the "ick." They all involve taking a long and hard but compassionate look at our dark side and deciding to move beyond it. We learn to look at life through a point of choice. In other words, we have a choice. Every moment. Every day.
By choosing healing, we enter the Flow. By choosing yet again, we remain in it.
Jason B. Kendrick is a Communications and Mindset Specialist, Author, Speaker, Reiki Master, Heart Core Communications Trainer and Heart Centered Living Practitioner. He offers himself to the world in Love and Service to cultivate Peace, Love, and Joy within all he works with.
Jason is a contributing Author to the newly-released international compilation Break Down to Wake Up: Journey Beyond the Now, a selection of 16 stories of massive personal transformation from authors worldwide. Available now in paperback and ebook!

Joining me as my guest is Dr. Roxana Roshon, an Energy Medicine practitioner formally trained in Botany, Ecology, Toxicology, and Environmental Biology.
Roxana loves to laugh--you will hear it on the show! She recognizes something we all recognize if we think about it--that laughter can uplift the mood for individuals and shift the energy in groups. She uses laugher as a healing modality in a similar fashion to how it has been used for centuries by indigenous cultures (find out more by listening!)
Laughter is indeed healing. In fact, it is some of the best medicine there is.
It is also the most fun. If you need some healing, a release of tension, and just an overall positive experience, come have fun with us! Tune in to this joyful episode.
Dr. Roxana Roshon is formally educated and trained in all the scientific disciplines mentioned above. She has been studying and practicing Energy Medicine for more than ten years, having made the switch as a result of her own healing journey in which her chronic allergies, asthma, and immune system imbalances were cleared.
Roxana has a very unique laugh; people can track her down by following the sound of her delight. As she releases a deep belly laugh, even strangers approach her. Decades ago, she was asked by a group of community actors to come to all their performances so that other patrons could absorb and mimic her enthusiasm.
Roxana understands that life is a balance between the heavy and light emotions. As we evolve as a species, humanity is ready for more love, light, play, laughter, acceptance, joy, and understanding in our lives.

Intentional Parenting with Arlene Wallace
Join Author and Parent Advocate Arlene Wallace for this illuminating six-part series on Intentional Parenting. Arlene boldly shares the challenges she faced and mistakes she made on her journey of parenting her son Noah, now 23. As a passionate Parent Advocate, Arlene invites all parents to cultivate self-care and self-awareness, build a strong team around you, and to honestly manage expectations, both of yourself and your child. Join Arlene, my Co-Host Lisa Berry, and me on this journey of parenting with intention.
Episode 6: The Pillars of Self-Care for Your Child
We continue our discussion of the Four Pillars of Self-Care in this episode with a special focus on self-care for a child. As a parent, and one who is always teaching your children, it is absolutely your responsibility to practice self-care. By practicing it yourself, you teach your children to do the same.
The Four Pillars of Self-Care (which we also discussed in Episode 5) are:
1) Awareness (of what is going on/ surroundings)
2) Acknowledgment (of areas that need to be addressed/need attention)
3) Addressing (giving attention, the application of intent)
4) Accepting (asking for and receiving help, acknowledgment that you don't always have all the answers)
Intentional Parenting must include self-care. In teaching self-care to your children, many specific areas warrant consideration. In this episode, Arlene discusses the following:
1) Rest
2) Nutrition
3) Empowering Children (Nurturing Their Gifts)
4) Communication
5) Contribution
In teaching a child self-care, you as a parent are really learning it yourself. When you uplift and empower a child, you uplift and empower yourself. When you speak, you speak into someone's soul. Therefore master your gifts; find the genius in you.

Episode 5: The Pillars of Self-Care
Join Arlene, Lisa and me for a deeper dive into self-care for parents--and for people in general. In Episode 1, we discussed the critical notion of self-awareness. In this episode, we talk about self-care.
Arlene takes us through four critical components of self-care. We like to call them "pillars." Here are the Four Pillars of Self-Care:
1) Awareness (of what is going on, surroundings)
2) Acknowledgment (areas that need to be addressed or need attention)
3) Addressing (giving attention, the application of intent)
4) Accepting (asking for and receiving help, and that one doesn't always have all the answers.)
Tune in to this episode of Intentional Parenting as Arlene takes us through her own journey with her son Noah. Just because a parent falls down on the Pillars of Self-Care does not mean that they have to stay down. Arlene didn't.

Episode 4: Advocacy and Teamwork
Episode 4 of Intentional Parenting with Arlene Wallace covers the critical topics of parent advocacy and teamwork.
Among other things, parent advocacy involves serving as a good role model. Like it or not, we are always teaching as human beings. How we carry ourselves in a given situation means as much, if not more, than what we say. How we show up matters, because those around us are always learning. If we race about confused and in a rage, people--especially children--will learn to behave this way in a similar circumstance. By contrast, if we exude a loving, calm presence, people learn to be calm.
A solid parent advocate also leans on the structure and stability of a team. Who are the people you choose to surround and support you and your child? How stable is this support network? These are important questions to ask, questions Arlene learned to ask over time.
Arlene advises all parents to ask for help. No one can do this alone. It is courageous to ask for help, and very, very important. If you need it, please ask for it.

Episode 3: Pressures on a Parent: Managing Expectations
Parenting, as all people with children can tell you, is a whole different world. For starters, expectations change: expectations placed on a parent by society, expectations naturally occurring from the child, as well as a parent's expectations of themselves. There can be a lot to juggle.
This is especially true for a single parent. While this series applies to and is intended for all parents--single or otherwise--it cannot be denied that a single parent's situation can pose some unique challenges.
Take Arlene for example. When her son Noah was born, she was young and unprepared for parenting. She had never had a vision of being a parent, much less a single parent. Tune in to find out how Arlene dealt with the pressures and managed expectations.
Parenting is certainly a balancing act. There can be, for example, a fine line between letting a child take his or her own lumps and reaching out to offer a blanket of protection. Arlene walks us through her life with Noah and shares what didn't work--and what did.

Episode 2: Constant and Continual Dialogue in Word and Deed
Communication is key. In any relationship, it matters not only what you say but what you do, how you act and behave. Others are always paying attention. Parents: your children are always paying attention.
In parenting, good communication is critical. A parent needs to communicate many things: love, trust, and boundaries to name a few. Without clear expectations and the conveying of love and support, all parties can flounder. For a child, many issues can arise. Performance in school can drop; social anxiety can escalate. An intentional parent knows that communication is multi-faceted.
Join us for this episode of Intentional Parenting with Arlene Wallace and learn about the importance of an ongoing dialogue in a parent/child relationship. Arlene reminds us that love is in fact a language, and parenting is "a constant and continual dialogue in word and deed."
Arlene encourages all parents to learn from the mistakes she made and be certain to build a proper team around you and your child, a support network, the proverbial "village."

Episode 1: The Importance of Self-Awareness
The importance of self-awareness cannot be overstated. This is true in any context, particularly in parenting. A parent that is not self-aware can make all kinds of mistakes, from showing up as overbearing to being neglectful to all things in between.
As a young, single parent, Arlene found herself not prepared for the rigors and the challenges. In this episode, she openly shares some of the mistakes she made early on. Arlene reminds us that parenting is in fact a journey and these challenges can pop up for anyone, hence the importance of self-awareness.
With a strong connection to yourself, you as a parent will be better able to connect to your child. This involves deliberate effort on your part, the application of intention. A person--parent or otherwise--who does not know themselves will flail and meander through life inconsistently at best, at worst destructive to themselves and others.
Arlene encapsulates this episode with one of her favorite sayings: "If you don't know who you are, how can you expect others to understand you?"

Sit in the Mud, Feel Everything.
These are two wonderful invitations from today's guest Hafeez Sumani. As an agent of transformation and a Lightworker, Hafeez knows all about the messy and not-so-pleasant moments on any spiritual journey. We all know they cannot be avoided if one is to truly evolve.
On this fascinating episode of Decide to Transform, Hafeez shares with us his story. As an athlete, an injury ended Hafeez's journey of attempting to qualify for the 2012 London Olympics. This kick-started a process of growth and transformation that is still evolving.
Today, Hafeez helps people journey into the darkness, into the unpleasant parts about ourselves that we must forgive and release to bring about real change. There is no substitute for sitting in the mud, as he so eloquently puts it, and actively working on our transformation. Putting in this work involves feeling everything, as many Buddhists say "taking everything into the Path." Unpleasant experiences keep appearing for a reason: they are begging to be released.
Hafeez encourages all of us to take full ownership of our lives and accept that if we truly want happiness, we have to start within.
Hafeez Sumani, The Urban "G" Lightworker Alchemist, is an inspirational catalyst, coach, energy healer and explorer of consciousness. He works with men and women who are yearning for a deeper and richer life with more LOVE and CONNECTION.
We are MORE than just our physical body and through radical acceptance, compassion, and awareness we reclaim our inner power. We have learned to suppress and bury our emotions and through energy healing and inner alchemy we can learn to confront it in a safe, healthy, and loving space.
We don't see things as they are, we see things as we are.

Join me for a very special episode of Decide to Transform as I welcome Philip Jacobs of Toronto Sound Therapy. Tune in as Philip plays two recorded tracks and one live song right here on the show!
It is well-known that music can have many healing effects, but we rarely stop to think about how pervasive and how all-encompassing this impact can be. If we pay attention to it, sound can heal us completely, from the inside out. It has the power to transform us.
Sound magnifies intention. So, what intention are you putting out there?
Sound has the power to break through our determined psychological resistance to change and transformation. Sometimes, it gets through when nothing else can. Sound allows us to "get past the gatekeepers" that reject healing and transformation in the interest of keeping us "safe," that is the same. Sound and music are powerful and universal; the gatekeepers cannot resist.
Again, please join us as Philip graciously demonstrates the healing capacity of sound. He invites you to be kind to yourself and go deeper, to attune to your own inner wisdom to facilitate self-healing.
Please enjoy the tracks played and performed on today's show:

The idea of hypnosis conjures up all kinds of images. If you have never experienced it before, you may wonder how it works, or you may fear to experience what it shows you. Everyone hesitates to reveal the deep stuff, because then we have to deal with it.

Healing comes in many different forms. While it ultimately proceeds from one Source, here in the world there are a multitude of beings ready to assist us, if only we would partner with them.
Some of these gifted healers are animals. They have much to teach us and can play a great role in our personal transformation, if only we allow them to do so.
Join me on this edition of Decide to Transform as I welcome animal communication expert Marybeth Haines for a high-impact, emotionally resonant discussion about the role of animals in healing, and how much they can help us humans in letting go of what needs to be released.
In short, animals help make spiritual healing more approachable. This is possible because animals radiate love. Simply love. It is up to us to recognize them as our equal, and that we are one. In so doing, powerful healing can flow uninterrupted.
Whether you have an animal companion or not--and especially if you do--you will want to tune in. Marybeth truly feels the love and energy that animals share, and does a powerfully good job of showing it!
Marybeth Haines' passion lies in making a difference in teamwork with animals and their gifts to humanity. She advocates on behalf of the "language they speak."
Marybeth is a highly regarded author, animal communicator, pet bereavement specialist, ordained minister and speaker. She is excited to connect with you and looks forward to sharing with you all the many gifts animals have to share as our teachers, guides, and so much more.

Our minds race about untamed, uncertain, and all too often lost. Just lost. We are all living with a roommate who is constantly talking, a "yip-yip dog," so to speak, who doesn't know anything but believes he or she does. Not knowing any better and besieged by the constant chatter, we identify with this incessant string of noise.
What happens then? Lost and confused ourselves, we suffer. Depression can result, severe stress, anxiety. Once this happens, it can be very, very difficult for us to find our way out.
But it is possible.
This week on Decide to Transform I welcome Kelly Fisher, a renowned hypnotherapist who is passionate about ending mental suffering. Join us as Kelly takes us through his own struggles with anxiety, from the crippling lows to his journey out.
Kelly has developed a system for helping people deal with anxiety, and is here to remind us that we don't realize the power we bring to the table. This power can help us effect change.
Kelly has created Anxiety Solutions, a six-week online program, and incidentally is the one who coined the term "yip-yip dog." He reminds us to slow our minds down to the speed we are living, rather than let the yip-yip dog run us off a cliff at high speed.
Enjoy this high-energy and highly practical show!
Kelly Fisher, a renowned hypnotherapist, is highly sought-after for his no-nonsense, no-fluff approach, as well as for getting quick results. Kelly has authored numerous books, spoken extensively from stage, and understands the importance and the power of overcoming self-doubt and anxiety.
Kelly has 23 years of experience helping people get control of their "Thought-Feeling-Emotion" process for dramatic, life-changing results.

You are not alone.
Personal transformation involves doing the deeper work, going directly to the places that scare us, and it helps immeasurably to know we are not alone. It certainly feels like it sometimes, but none of us is alone. Not one.
My special guest Herman Jaramillo knows the deeper work well. As an Infinite Mindset Coach, he has worked with people on deep subjects, among them toxic relationships, addiction, and inner child work. In his many years of practice, Herman has helped people move beyond experiences of abuse and trauma, and he happily shares his insights and some of his stories on this episode of Decide to Transform.
As human beings, we crave acceptance. All the while, we judge ourselves as unworthy and hopelessly wounded, unloveable. This is where the shadow work comes in. Herman is an expert at guiding people through this darkness and out on the other side, where we realize that the past is not our fault, and the present is our personal responsibility.
Through it all, we are not alone.
Herman Jaramillo is an Infinite Mindset Coach specializing in entrepreneurs, toxic relationships, addiction, and inner child work. A lifelong entrepreneur himself, he started his first business selling lemonade at age eight.
Since going bankrupt in 2005, Herman found coaching first to understand, then change his life. After seeing the results he dedicated his life to studying different techniques like Angel Therapy, Psychic Mediumship, Addiction Therapy and several modalities of coaching to be of service to others in creating lifelong changes.
Herman lives and works in Colombia. He can be reached via email at hermanjaramillo@gmail.com

No matter what your spiritual background or alignment, it is easy to see that the world is going through tremendous change these days. You could label this change upheaval and destruction, and you could also see it as an opportunity--a tremendous opportunity as it turns out.
My guest on this episode of Decide to Transform, Selena Ella Moon, sees a new earth coming through, one that replaces old paradigms of conflict with expressions of unity and love.
The journey is not all rainbows and unicorns, however. A lot of work is involved in re-making yourself to meet the demands of the world as we now know it. Shadow work will be involved, facing and releasing your darkness.
Selena shares her story with us on this episode, how she suppressed her own needs, gave too much, then undertook a "self-inflicted silent retreat" to reset and recalibrate. Through a series of travels and a great deal of personal work, Selena arrived at a place where she can now guide others on the journey of self-discovery.
Join us here to find out more!

Radical Self-Honesty.
That's the theme of this episode of Decide to Transform. What does it mean to you? Are you radically, painfully honest with yourself, or are you just staying comfortable, i.e. playing small?
Each of us has a tendency to avoid pain. We construct our lives around never having to feel it. This leaves us craving familiarity and comfort, and sometimes it leads to addiction. Sometimes people seek to numb or distance themselves from pain with alcohol, drugs, sex or gambling. We all too often seek escape rather than owning what is deep inside us.
My guest on this episode, Dylan Hunter Olson, is all too familiar with avoidance and addiction. Join me as Dylan takes us through his journey of addiction, as well as how he succeeded in moving beyond it. How did he overcome this? With Radical Self-Honesty.
Radical Self-Honesty means taking personal accountability for your actions in life, as well as for the results of those actions. Yes, pain will come up, old wounds, dark and scary concepts. They are coming up for release. They emerge in your experience so you can recognize them and get rid of them, not with a violent dumping but by remaining calm and present and simply letting them pass.
Dylan has learned this, and now lives each day like a lifetime. He encourages you to commit to Radical Self-Honesty in your own life, and in turn you commit to your own growth and to Love.
Dylan Hunter Olson is an independent singer/songwriter, mentor, transformational teacher, and writer based in Boise, Idaho. After struggling for many years with drug addiction and alcohol abuse, he had a series of experiences that served as his awakening and went through a massive transformation that has made his life an inspiration to all those who meet and know him, and he strives to share his story and mission with the whole of humanity through the languages of music, writing, speech, comedy, and love.

Do you possess a big and magnanimous energy that other people just don't understand? Have you always known that you are destined for more, and is this a deep calling for you?
My guest this week, Ayse Hogan, can relate. For years she considered her big energy a liability, a curse even. Many people had difficulty relating to her. Many felt threatened. Through it all, Ayse felt a deep calling to do something more.
Earlier this year, Ayse received a vision during meditation that let her know that not only would she find herself doing something absolutely huge, but that she wouldn't be doing it alone.
From this vision, IAUSM was born. Standing for the International Academy of Universal Self Mastery, IAUSM is a worldwide collaborative and interactive social learning community, all online and launching in the fall of 2020.
IAUSM is already 150 Faculty Members strong with holistic and alternative teachings for the mind, body, and spirit. It is a welcoming space for people to heal and practice self mastery. Its bigness is beautiful, and beyond all limitations.

Join my special guest Bradford Scott Walton and me this week as we take a deeper dive into a timely and very important subject: the masculine + feminine energetic equation.
After 30 years of personal development work, Bradford learned and was given an uncommonly deep knowledge of the masculine + feminine energetic equation, how it affects us individually, and how its current state is at the root of everything that doesn't work well or feel good in the world. If ever there were a paradigm that needs to be shifted, it is this one.
As we discuss on the show, everyone has both the masculine and the feminine naturally inside them. When these energies are out of balance, internal conflict ensues. With internal conflict comes external projection, where one brings their internal disharmony to the world at large. Abuse can result, as can exploitation, dehumanization, and war.
Bradford correctly states that "Energy is the language of the universe," and when we make the effort to harmonize our own energies, this translates to the world "outside" of us. How, then, can we bring about this transition? Join us and find out.
Bradford Scott Walton is a public speaker, Founding Faculty Member of the International Academy of Universal Self Mastery (IAUSM), and a contributing author to the Texas Men's Story Project on masculinity. His unique understanding of the masculine + feminine energetic equation has been featured on numerous podcasts as well as at the EAN: Conscious Relationships Retreat.

Simply put, this week's show matters. Gratitude matters, our mindset is crucial, and we clearly live in a new world.
Are you grateful, then, for your mindset?
I hope so, because the new world is here.
On the show we examine the importance of gratitude and of practicing gratitude as often as possible. In a world that has changed remarkably in the past six months--and seems to change almost overnight--the inner work we do on ourselves becomes more and more important.
In addition to our inner work and personal development, it is critically important how we show up in the world, how we lead, and how we teach. Like it or not, each of us is constantly teaching, and with our words, actions, and energy we communicate vast amounts of information to everyone around us. Each of us has a choice to show up from a place of Love or from a place of fear. Which vibration are you most responsive to?
Join me as I list nine specific ways we can show up, lead, and teach in these uncertain times and be very, very effective. A couple of hints: our personal growth matters, and we must be unwavering.
(Many thanks to my wife Cindy Garza for the inspiration for the title, the processing, and several of the nine items. It is always fun creating with you!)
In 2017, Jocelyn Bellows made the decision to dissolve her marriage, move across the country, and begin a journey of self-discovery. Join us this week on Decide to Transform as Jocelyn takes us through the ups and downs of her own personal transformation, including some of the lessons learned.
One of the main lessons that applies to all of us is that transformation is not a linear process. Stops and starts are inevitable. Like it or not, we all have to accept this as part of the journey.
So what matters most along the way? Jocelyn walks us through three items in detail:
1) The importance of self-care- Without a regular practice of self-care, we drain our batteries. We cannot function optimally. What constitutes self-care? It depends on the person, but there are many small things anyone can do that will make a huge difference in the long run. Chief among these is the underlying statement that "I am worth this; I matter."
2) Break up with your limiting stories- As a Break Up to Wake Up coach, Jocelyn teaches people the value of leaving limiting stories behind. These are the concepts we hold about ourselves, why we can't do something, why we're "bad" at it, etc. Break up with them! Breakups are as much internal as external.
3) Drop your "busy-ness"- In the modern world we pride ourselves on being busy. This state of constant activity has become a cultural badge of honor. Does it feel good to you, however? If not it's time to break up with your busy-ness, too.
Tune in to this episode and gain some clarity on what--not necessarily whom--you need to break up with.

While human beings seem to have vastly different experiences, there is one thing we all have in common: fear.
Whether we experience it often or only on occasion, fear shows up in all our lives, and how we respond to it matters--to our mental health, to our physical health, and to all the people around us.
How do you respond to fear? Some people run, some hide, some jump into combat mode, and still others face it constructively. What does this look like? Tune in to this episode to find out.
Even if you manage only just a little bit of progress, progress it remains. If you are open to it, you can come to find that fear is both a teacher and a guide. It points out to us what needs to be released.
And what happens when you let go of what needs to be released? Well, Massive Transformation of course! What this looks like could be a sense of lightness, of confidence, of personal power, of strength--both mental and physical. In short, by dealing constructively with fear, by leaning into it, asking questions, and beginning to work through, we can in fact become different people. We can become more authentic, more powerful, confident, calm, poised, and most importantly, more of our Self.
What better way to kick off Season II than to welcome Zaiya, my second-born, to the party!
"The Spirit's Paintbrush" touches on art and its deep, soul-level connection to the human spirit. Some might say that art is life, and as an expression of human emotion and experience, they would be right. No matter what the medium, art moves us in countless ways, even those we are not consciously aware of.
As a queer, nonbinary artist, Zaiya has a wide breadth of experience in the art world. While still a teenager (13), Zaiya shows us a depth of understanding that most of us adults would do well to pay attention to.
In particular, we limit ourselves. Why? Is it because adults aren't supposed to act "this way," whatever that is? Is it "childish" to allow ourselves to be creative? Is it "immature" to nourish our spirits?
I think not, and Zaiya agrees.
We have a lot packed into this episode, so please enjoy and enjoy all that is to come here in Season II!
Zaiya Garza, 13, is a queer nonbinary artist, pictured here playing the guitar at a rest area in Nevada. Zaiya loves many artistic media, cooking, swimming, soccer, and writing (she is currently working on a novel.) Zaiya lives in Corvallis, Oregon.
Is spiritual growth a responsibility? What do you think?
My guest on this episode of Decide to Transform, Robert B. McGuinness, says yes. As we discuss on the show, I agree. Spiritual growth is everyone's responsibility. Also, it is our responsibility to live our absolute best life, meaning stepping out of dull frustration and pain and moving into what really motivates us, like our calling.
Robert shares with us his journey from career to calling, one that has been full of gut-wrenching moments and significant, uplifting breakthroughs. Robert also presents what he has learned along the way, and walks us through some important lessons in spiritual and personal growth, which as he points out, is our responsibility.
Make the leap from limited to limitless. Join us.

Amber joins me on this episode of Decide to Transform and takes us through some of her personal history. From childhood to high school to university and beyond, Amber openly and honestly shares with us the people and practices that have made a difference to her, that have enabled her to cope with the frustration of significantly reduced vision and enabled her to move forward, to thrive and to share her insights with others.
Join us for an honest and hard-hitting episode that is nonetheless full of energy, happiness, and enthusiasm.

As the title suggests, this episode continues our run through some personal exposés and some not-so-beautiful stories, all of which I offer so that you or someone close to you will realize that there is hope in even the most hopeless-looking situation, and that simple methods are available to create lasting, impactful change in life.
Let this episode take you further.
Many people Find themselves in abusive situations. I define "abuse" in a broad sense, not limiting it to physical or sexual but extending it to the psychological realm as well. In truth much abuse takes place here, perhaps the majority of it.
How, then, does one survive psychological warfare? While I invite you tune in to find out, I will offer here that one must first recognize the warfare--the tactics, the manipulation, etc. One must then formulate a desire to break free--yes, that's right, one must decide in favor of happiness. From there, many options present themselves, and we go through some of these on the show.
No matter what your situation, you will find something of benefit in this episode. If you or someone you know needs this episode, please share it with them.
No one needs to endure abuse and psychological warfare. Let this show shine the light on it. You know what happens when you flip the light on in a dark room: it isn't dark anymore.
(This show originally aired on OMTimes Radio on May 12, 2020.)
This episode of Decide to Transform has everything to do with life.
All personal growth has to do with releasing what no longer serves us. How do you know what no longer serves you? Well, how do you feel about it? How do you feel about a particular event, place, thing, person?
When we hold on to what does not serve us, we become bitter, anxious, depressed, gloomy. When we let it go, on the other hand, we come to feel a lightness, a fluidity, a sense of happiness that we had been longing for.
Join me for this show as I walk through one of the most effective methods of releasing what no longer serves us: forgiveness. Yes, it is that simple: forgiveness is the way out of pain.
Can't forgive something or somebody? Start with what you can forgive. Many patterns of behavior, abuses, etc. take years to forgive, so please give yourself some grace if you aren't able to forgive it in two or three minutes. Forgive the dog for peeing on the carpet, for example, forgive yourself for lying to your mom when you were eight. Start with what you are capable of right now, and build momentum.
In addition, learn from various world spiritual traditions about the power and the value of forgiveness, of letting things go.
Today's show is all about lightening your load. Release that baggage. It gets heavy.
(This episode originally aired on OMTimes Radio on May 5, 2020.)
Back by popular demand: the next in a string of personal exposés.
This episode is born in the crucible of experience. Let me say experience and mistakes. Join me as I walk through some of the mistakes I made in handling and coping with difficult people in my life, in particular my late mother. If you have a difficult family member on your hands, you will want to tune in to see what I did to handle a barrage of persistent negativity.
Standing up for yourself does not always come easily. In fact, it might not come easily at all, but it is essential to a positive state of mind and overall well-being. This episode takes us through some techniques and helpful verbiage that you may wish to consider in your dealing with difficult people (actual results will vary, of course!)
Let me put it this way: you owe it to yourself to insist that you be treated as a capable and competent adult, i.e. respected. This journey--and this show--has everything to do with healthy boundaries.
In fact, you could use an alternate title for this episode: "Healthy Boundaries and How You Can Create Them--And Why You Should."
Yes, let's not forget that last part: "And Why You Should."
(This show originally aired on OMTimes Radio on April 28, 2020.)
This episode of Decide to Transform begins a series of personal exposés. These hard-hitting episodes are the result of a conversation with my wife (and also two-time guest on the show) Cindy Garza, who encouraged me to share some painful, personal stories on the air.
We start with "Out of My Head." For many , this phrase means someone is crazy, not thinking correctly. In my case, though, out of my head signified a state I had to reach, a mental place I had to get to.
For years as a young adult, I lived somebody else's life. Responding to pressure from my family, I chose a career path that ticked all the boxes of "status" and prestige but which left me feeling hollow and empty inside. This career--law and its derivatives--never did rise to the level of a passion for me, and I struggled for years to break away and pursue my life's mission.
Do you know someone who is unhappy in their life but hesitant to make a change? Are you that person? If so, tune in today. The changes are always worth it, and as I share my story, I invite you to look at ways you, too, can do things differently. I invite you to think of ways that you, too, can pry yourself out of your head and into spiritual recovery.
(This show originally aired on OMTimes Radio on April 21, 2020.)
Who qualifies as a healer, and what does this person do?
This is a question we delve into on this edition of Decide to Transform. People tend to associate healing with the body, with taking a pill or having an elective surgery to make the body better, to cure an illness, to "heal."
Real healing, though, takes place on the level of the mind. The body follows.
Does this sound controversial? It really isn't, even if we were all instructed otherwise in school. This podcast teaches things you can't learn in school.
Healing is indeed of the mind, and there are many ways to bring this about. On this show we talk about some. In addition, hear from various world spiritual traditions about the healing process, and the results that follow.
These, I promise you, are worth your time.
(This show originally aired on OMTimes Radio on April 14, 2020.)
Historical context on this episode: this timely subject aired originally on April 7, 2020, with the world coming to grips with the COVID-19 pandemic and people adjusting to a completely different reality. Never had the urgency for calm been more apparent.
And make no mistake: staying calm is an art, perfected by practice. How one chooses to practice can vary, and we go through some of the more popular options on the show. Meditation is certainly one of them, but there are many others.
What would it benefit you to remain calm in life? For starters, you would liberate yourself from the habitual grind of unhelpful and negative emotions--you know how you respond to situations. Could you do better?
Calmness brings level-headed decision making, and as you know from listening to this show, it is all about decision. Decide to remain calm, and if you are not, then decide to practice one of the techniques we discuss today to bring yourself closer and closer to a state of equilibrium where you are less likely to get thrown, and even if you do the period of chaos will not last. How is this? You will be able to bring yourself back to your state of mental balance.
Calmness is indeed a superpower. Join me and learn how to cultivate it.
(This show originally aired on OMTimes Radio on April 7, 2020.)
We conclude the Transformation 101 series with a hard-hitting show about our limiting stories. We all recognize them: these are the stories we tell ourselves to justify inaction, or to justify haphazard, unfocused actions that do not lead to transformation.
Here are some examples: "I'm too old," "I'm too young," "I don't have enough time," "It's not for me," "I don't have the right background," etc.
Are you saying some variant of this to yourself?
If so, you are not alone. Everyone has allowed these fictions to run our lives. The good news is--you guessed it--we can choose to do something about it.
Tune in to this episode as we examine some of the more common limiting stories and how you can recognize them, then how you can choose to believe something else instead.
You will have noted the theme that there's a lot of choice involved. Exercise it.
