Luke 5:37-39 New Wine Skins A Word for Kalamunda Church - God has new wine to pour out but we need to be new wineskins so that we are able to hold the wine. WE need to take off the old to put on the new - sometimes we like to preserve the old as it's more comfortable but God says to forget the former things - don;t dwell/camp there. Don;t let the past become a blockage for what he wants to do in us today.
We need to create a margin/space in our lives. To de-clutter. To leave room in the "outer courts" of our lives for Jesus to move in the lives of those around us.
We spend a lot of time on our "wrapping" - making it look good. But we are not our wrapping. It's not the whole you.
We are all being programmed - our heart is our hard drive. What we behold is what we become. But Psalm 46:10 tells us to CEASE striving - BE STILL and know that He is God.

God didn't purpose for us to be a dam, To just collect him. He wants us to open up the gates and to let him flow out so that all around us begins to grow and flourish.
