King Solomon was the wisest man to ever live, was extremely wealthy, oversaw the construction of the temple, and attracted attention far outside of Israel because of his wisdom and his proverbs. So why is it that King David is the gold standard of kings and is constantly seen as a picture of the Messiah, when he did not accomplish these things? We explore this and see how it can be a lesson for us today.

As Christians we have a far greater hope than anything this world can offer. We should examine ourselves to make sure we are not clinging too tightly to this world and determine to put our hope in Christ. 1 Peter 1:3-21 1 John 2:15-17
As Christians, we have a call to speak truth in a world that hates it. We must remember that persecutions will come and be ready to face them.
